Absolutely rubbish company, rubbish customer service, rubbish product, should have checked here first before making the purchase, I got the product it never worked for me even though it stated on the website it will work for my car, I sent the product back and it’s been 5 months and still got no refund, they keep making things up so they don’t have to give my money back. DO NOT USE THEM absolutely rubbish

This company is a complete rip off. Parcel never arrived and they state that they are looking into an investigation with the courier. They cannot provide evidence and tracking says still in transit. Doing everything they can to not refund. Complete fraudsters. Will be escalating to legal departments after formally requesting a refund was rejected.

Paypal wouldn't help and carplay2air didn't even respond to emails........avoid at all costs.
After reading comments here it looks like they want people to return the faulty item to China with a stupidly high cost attached !!!

I'm making complaints to the Delaware Department of Justice - state where this "company" is registered - advise to do the same

Ordered item in August, Recieved item & after several weeks communicating with seller & trying all suggestions to get it to work failed.
Decided to sent it back. despite it arriving from China the seller insisted it was returned to an address in Lithuania it cost me £9.90 to send with tracking & signed for. Still waiting for Paypal to refund my money. a total waste of time & money.

I would have given this a ZERO if I could. I ordered it so excited!! It would not hook up with a 2020 Acura. I tried and tried. And worked for 2 weeks with their customer service and was impressed they were helping me. Then they told me it won't work. Mail it back, AT MY EXPENSE TO CHINA. Now 4 months later, I can't get a refund because THEIR warehouse has not received it. THIS IS BS. They need to be reported.

The item keeps disconnecting, on a 20min ride it disconnected 4x all the time. Contacted them 16 days later and they said I'm no longer qualify for a refund, but no worries the can replace the item. Just return the item back to us at my cost that will be over $70.already it costed me $170 for a piece of junk. On one email they asked me to return it somewhere in China so I opened a case with PayPal and they agreed to give me a full refund but ship it back to Varėna, Lithuania with tracking over $80 what a scam.

The product does not work as advertised, and the company deletes any reviews lower than three stars on their website. Ever wonder how their product can be rated 4.9 out of 5 stars on their site? Sort the reviews from lowest to highest and your will see no one or two star reviews. I posted a 1 star review that magically never appeared.

The product doesn’t work on 2020 Chevrolets and the company is deceptive.

Couldn't get it to work despite working with support, downloading an update, doing a factory reset on my car, verifying I had the latest firmware , sending videos of what was happening, etc. I was told I needed to return it to China at my own cost and possibly be charged a $25 "restocking fee" if they deemed there is nothing wrong with the unit. I am in Australia with a modern Kia Sportage with Apple Car Play so should not have been a problem. My car model was listed as supported. Also it is strange that they have changed their website to cplay2air.com (previously carplay2air.com) after I purchased. It might have been a copyright issue or they were just getting too many negative reviews.

I ordered this thinking it was coming from Delaware only to have it shipped from China. Handling said 5-7 days but mine finally arrived 15 days later. I was excited to get it but as soon as I connected it to my truck it failed to connect to anything (my truck was listed as supported). I spent 2 days emailing customer service to sort it out only for them to finally say it was defective and to return it. I was told that I was responsible to pay to ship it back to China for almost $40 and to lie on the customs form (pretty sure that’s illegal). So now I’m out $130 and am having to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!

Be extremely careful ordering from this company. Ordered and "Shipped" back in August, still hasn't been received. Company offer no help, so chargeback proceedings initiated with my bank.

This company market as though they are in the USA, but are in fact based in China, and shipping from China. Avoid please!

UPDATE:
After a couple of month the adapter actually came. I must say it works great. So the product itself gets 5 stars but the experience as a whole gets only 3 stars, due to the extremely long delivery time...!

I first ordered it August 28th. They’ve taken my money and still, almost two month later, I’ve not received it...

I’ve asked several times for tracking info, but nothing... Asked to cancel order, but nothing... Not a suggestion to solve this or any kind of compensation..

During this time I’ve received two items from Caudabe, sent at two different occasions, also sent from China so obviously it’s no problem sending stuff!

So my overall experience? WARNING!!!

I'm really sorry to have spent many hours to no avail. also having spent 60 USD (expenses 190 USD)on a product that I have no options to use or resell. i feel like i have thrown money on the street. It should be "Plug & Play". Have tried to update again, without success. The adapter has displayed a carplay logo for 2 sec. when it works best. Falls out of sync after a short time each time.
Normal procedure will be that you send a return label, so we do not have to pay for shipping.
Unfortunately, I have read that they are not good at refunding money.
I used PayPal on my purchase and it has been shown that I can get a full refund by sending the item back. My expense on this item is duty 30 USD and further return cost 30 USD. That is 130+30+30 USD minus 60 USD in expenses for this trade.

Après avoir up gradé le boitier dans sa dernière version je l'ai installé dans mon A5 B9 (2017). Après les nombreux avis négatifs j'étais très septique quand au résultat. Et bien après 1 semaine d'utilisation je suis bluffé temps de connexion très rapide quasiment aussi rapide que si je branche le téléphone en usb et 100% fonctionnel, je l'utilise avec coyote et spotify sans soucis. Livraison environ 15 jours (conforme à peut prêt au 10j ouvrés annoncés)

I bought an adapter from this company to my, according to them, compatible Car.
The adapter they send me was broken from the time I received it, I have spent hours with their support which in the end told me that the product was broken.
Now they want me to pay more than $50 to refund it to China, and cheat the custom clearings by valuing the prodcut lower than the actually price.

It's a US based company, but they refuse to tell you that they send their product from china.
The product can be bought with another name on the adapter for less than the half price from the same factorys that make this one.

Do NOT buy from this company! If any problems appears, you will be left with a demand to pay more than the products worth in fees and shippingcosts!

Worthless piece of crap and the support is even worse!!!! I recommend absolutely nobody to order anything from this company if you do not want to be scammed. There’s other companies out there offering wireless carplay adapters that actually work.

Die Übertragung vom iPhone 11 (mit iOS 14) auf mein Opel IntelliLink funktioniert nur bedingt und ist stark zeitverzögert. Siri klappt ebenfalls nur bedingt. Die Verbindung per Kabel ist meistens schneller und stabiler. CarPlay 2 Air ist leider rausgeschmissenes Geld.

Beim Rückversand werden pauschal 25 USD abgezogen und die Versandkosten nach China muss man selbst bezahlen.

Liars, cheats and scammers....this product doesn’t work, DONT BUY IT or you might as well give them your money. They will not refund a penny and give you the run around forever. You are warned.

Complete scammers, Yes many people are saying it works perfectly but in my experience its not worth the risk, Before i bought the product they ensured it would work with my cars, Well it doesnt work with either, After days of troubleshooting with them they say its not compatible and to send it back,, At my own cost and pay a restock fee, On top of that i must lie on the customs form as to what the package contains.. Dodgy as hell.. I will let you decide, Needless to say i will not do this and have claimed via my credit card company and sent their details for Customs Fraud to investigate.
