CV Villas used to be excellentâŠ.not any longer! Our holiday to Corfu ..like so many othersâŠdidnât take place this yearâŠthe flights were cancelled so has no option but to roll the trip over to next year. We wanted to fly from a different airportâŠ.fine âŠall verbally agreed BUT STILL WAITING WEEKS LATER for confirmation. Now Iâve discovered that Villa Nicoletta âŠthe one weâre meant to be staying inâŠis being sold! Under offer!
No one will speak to meâŠ..I managed to get through to customer services then they cut me off and still no confirmation of holiday!âŠâŠ.I know travel agents are busy but really all I want is confirmation of the holiday that Iâve already paid the deposit for!
We booked a 2 week stay at Villa Kokkini in Sinies, Corfu for the last week of September/first week of October 2020.
Online, the Villa looked perfect with views to die for. Perfect for 2 weeks of rest and relaxation (or so we thought !)
During our stay (particularly in our first week) we had lots of issues and problems. Most were sorted by the very helpful staff on the island, some could not be sorted so easily.

To cut a very long story short we were disappointed with our overall stay and, what should have been a great holiday was tainted.
However, the main purpose of this review is to highlight the appalling customer service we've received (or rather not received !) from C V Villas since we returned and sent them our feedback.
Apart from an automatic system generated auto-response to our initial contact we've heard absolutely nothing ! This is despite a couple of reminders and a formal complaint !!
For us, our judgement of a Company is how they respond to issues that you raise. In this case the answer is......They don't !
It seems to be a case of we've had your cash and now we couldn't really care about what you think.
Poor, disappointing and frustrating service from C V Villas and we wont be recommending them or using them again.

What are you waiting for when you rent a luxury villa?!
Our family was expecting a certain level of standards and quality of provided services for such a high price. ( more than 1000eu per day)
The house itself has a huge potential, but now it is in very poor condition: the works were done a long time ago and are very inaccurate. Everything should be refurbished. Inside the house, you do not have air conditioning. One of the rooms that is considered as sleeping for 2 people does not have any bed - just 2 mattress, to get there you have to climb a crazy ladder; inside you do not have any opening windows; so it is like an oven.
The furniture in the house is old, very old, the beds are uncomfortable; the owner invested in very poor decoration. There is an impression that the owner collects all of the old furniture that he does not need any more and placed here.
Most of the photos on the web site do not comply with reality.
The equipment in the chateau is the oldest and cheapest you can imagine:
1. there are no simple and necessary things as blender or mixer, steam cook, neither kitchen robot;
2. no scale in the kitchen;
3. the glasses and cutlery are from IKEA and some of them are broken;
4. the plates are broken;
5. no sound system (Sonos) in the house or outside;
6. no bicycles provided; what else to do in this region?
7. no WiFi in the whole house, just on the basement.
8. no printers (we were told that there Is one but in a closed room)
9. Piano is locked
10. All the equipment in the bathrooms are damaged (limestone)and some broken
11. The oven and the fridge last from the late 90th.
12. No ice machine or dispenser ( sometimes 40* outside)
Etc etc
The service in the house you should provide according to the contract and advertisements is 4 times a week for 3 hours(according to the contract and conditions.)
Under any pretext, the home maid always postpones â in two weeks we saw her just 2,5 time!!! Thus the house is disgusting and filthy:
1. The garbage you need to bring to the bin container by yourself; that is located rather far away from the house. ( maybe 350 m)The maid never threw it away even In the rooms.
2. The laundry services are not provided and if you want to do it by yourself you will have to remind the ancient times because there is no modern technic to do that. ( no dryer, old washing machine..)
3. Linen Change: we had just 1 time for more than 2 weeks
4. The babyâs room was cleaned just 1 time for more than 2 weeks.
5. The daily housekeeping consists just to clean the floor.
Itâs really a scandal and not fair at all.
For the asked price it looks like a swindle.
Last but not least: there is a kind of ballroom just beside,150 meters away. So you can forget about quiet nights because of the loud music till 4 in the morning there!!! We had to call the police already several times to stop the din

We sent this information first to the agency but didn't get any return.
ThIs high end company charges a considerable premium to identify suitable (usually expensive) villas in which to stay for a holiday. Unfortunately the Ts&Cs allow cancellation on their part with almost no notice (2 weeks before - and no call) with little more than a return of deposit held for 6 months! If you as the client did the same and cancel with the same short notice you forfeit the whole (e.g. £4-5K rental for one week). I have had the former experience. One would expect a company that values its reputation to go to any length to help resolve the last minute cancellation. You would expect wrong. The pitiful 5% discount gesture is an embarrassment. This is not a company that knows how to manage a premium customer. Avoid.
