Looking to maximize our layover between destinations, we set our sights on the Burj Khalifa—but knew we wanted more than just one iconic photo op. After researching four different tour operators, Dubai Private Tour stood out with the winning combination of customized itinerary, quality, and value. They didn’t just promise—they delivered!

Two Days, Countless Memories
Our first day packed in Dubai’s highlights (pro tip: skip the Wonder Garden and spend that time elsewhere), building toward the crescendo we’d been anticipating: sunset from the Burj Khalifa’s 154th floor—the highest observation deck in the world.

Day two took us 90 minutes to Abu Dhabi to the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. We made photo stops at key landmarks along the way.

The Guide Who Made All the Difference
Our guide Ajay—a 21-year UAE resident who knows these cities like the back of his hand—elevated the entire experience. His insider knowledge brought every sight to life with context and stories you won’t find in guidebooks. Even though guides aren’t permitted inside the Grand Mosque, he briefed us on the four must-see features before we entered, ensuring we didn’t miss a thing. Just as important, his relaxed pace, with precision timing was flawless: perfect positioning for that Burj Khalifa sunset, and a stress-free airport drop-off for our 4:30 PM Egypt flight.

The Bottom Line
Dubai Private Tour and Ajay transformed what could have been a simple stopover into an enriching experience. We left with far greater understanding of the UAE’s two largest cities, its people, and its culture—far beyond what any DIY tour could have provided.

We booked a last-minute tour from Ras al Khaimah to Jebel Jais (1935m) for four adults. Our guide, "Ghulam" (thank you for sharing your extensive knowledge and so much information with us!), was very friendly and helpful, and the drive with him was a real pleasure. Before heading into the mountains, we had several very informative stops in Ras al Khaimah. The entire trip was fantastic and full of positive experiences. The booking process was completely seamless, and emails were answered within hours. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dubai-Privat!

I had requested particular tours as I had lived previously in Dubai in the 1970’s. Dubai Private Tour listened to what I wanted, what I was not interested in and provided excellent tour guides and drivers. My many questions and any stops I wanted were accommodated readily. Sunil is an excellent tour guide. He is knowledgeable, and he makes the tour fun and interesting. He provided invaluable information on how to bargain at the markets. He takes good pictures and know where the good spots to take them. He even put together a video of the entire tour

Neha was amazing. I had a buddy for a day. She ensured I not only made it to all my desired places, but also ensured all my moments were captured via video and photos. She was polite and sort to please me. She went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing time in Dubai. Together with the driver, they made sure I made it to all my tours on time. I expected to pass through Dubai airport en route to India but got stuck here for 2 days. What to do?

We just completed a 6-hour private evening tour of Dubai with Ms. Niharika “Niha” during a 9-hour layover, and I honestly can’t imagine how it could have been any better. Niha was exceptional in every possible way.
From the moment we met her, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an incredible experience. She took us to all the authentic local spots that we never would have found on our own, sharing fascinating insights and stories about each location that brought Dubai’s culture and history to life.
What really set Niha apart was her thoughtfulness - she even had a driver so she could focus entirely on us rather than navigating traffic. This meant she could give us her full attention, answer our questions in depth, and make the entire experience feel personal and unhurried. She was also incredibly mindful of our tight timeline, carefully managing our schedule to ensure we saw everything while getting us back to the airport with plenty of time to spare. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered to take photos throughout the evening (and they came out great!), and had such a kind, engaging personality that it felt like exploring the city with a friend rather than just a guide.
Her knowledge was impressive, her recommendations were spot-on, and her passion for showing us the real Dubai was evident in every moment. If you’re looking for a private tour in Dubai—especially during a layover—I cannot recommend Niha highly enough. This was truly a highlight of our trip!

Sameh is an incredible tour guide and an even more incredible person. I’ve never met anyone with so much knowledge and passion for their hometown. My husband and I were lucky to have him as our personal guide for two days, and he showed us the best of both Abu Dhabi and downtown Dubai. This is an excellent company for your tour needs. First, they were very responsive and helpful when I was planning my trip to Dubai. They let us personalize a tour as we had limited time. They were flexible and letting us start our tour from the airport which helped kick off the city tour. Payment was easy and available online. One nice touch was that we had not just a tour guide but also a driver! This was amazing as it allowed the tour guide to answer questions and discuss city history. It also allowed us to be dropped right at the sights and picked up right away to minimize time spend outside in the summer heat! Both Mr. Shan and Mr. Ketan were amazing guides and helped us to learn so much about both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. They both went above and beyond to help us enjoy the cities. This a great place to plan out your time in Dubai!

Great pre - trip communication, flexible to allow airport pickup plus perfect viewing of fountains/burj night show before hotel drop off . Pranav shared interesting info about Dubai , and was very helpful with suggestions for how we should spend our one day in Dubai.

I had the best tour in Dubai with Dubai Private Tour company last Sunday!!! I found the company using Google and had a lot of questions for them. Roy answered the phone and was very patient and answered all the questions I had (which took a while since I am very picky and wanted to make sure I had an excellent company). The next day I met Mr Ketan (K.K), our tour guide, who was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Dubai and all the details of the architecture and buildings. He put together a detailed itinerary, which showed us all the wonderful sites in Dubai. He answered all the questions we had and we were very impressed by his knowledge and information. He was also very flexible and was able to make some last-minute changes which we wanted. His personality was very kind, fun, patient and just overall the perfect tour guide. Thank you so much to Mr Ketan for giving us the best tour in Dubai as we absolutely loved it!!!

Our guide Ms. Tejal was outstanding. She arrived at the hotel well before the scheduled time. On boarding the vehicle, she immediately started giving some history of the place and answered patiently many of our questions. She was very courteous. She happily volunteered to take many of our pictures. We found her very pleasant and approachable. We highly recommend her.
