e+ (イープラス) is not a foreigner-friendly Japanese event ticketing website, that’s for certain.

For instance:
• Cited for the intent of preventing ticket scalpers and limiting the number of accounts per mobile phone number, only account holders with a Japanese mobile phone service that can accept SMS can purchase or apply for ticket lottery.
• The vast majority, if not all, Credit or Debit Cards issued outside of Japan are declined and not accepted. A reason has not been disclosed.

When e+ is the only method of obtaining legitimate tickets to events in Japan to both Japanese nationals / residents and those who already take the initiative to fly themselves over to Japan for a concert or event, one would expect this major ticketing agency to understand and make things work for everyone. However, years later. This is still not the case.

If you’re lucky to know someone who can help, great. Otherwise, get ready for an entirely new world of disappointment.
