We cannot speak highly enough of Guardian Angels and the care they provided to my father in the months leading up to his passing. From the very beginning, their service was deeply personable, compassionate, and grounded in genuine respect for him as an individual.

They took the time to truly understand not only my father’s needs, but also our complex family situation, offering thoughtful guidance and unwavering support throughout an incredibly difficult stage of life. Communication was exceptional — clear, timely, and considerate — including navigating international communication with family members overseas. We always felt informed, included, and reassured.

Guardian Angels were unfailingly reliable and punctual, and their service was delivered with honesty and fairness. Their pricing was transparent and reasonable, and their flexibility in the range of home care services they offered allowed care to be tailored precisely to what my father needed as his circumstances changed.

What truly set them apart, however, was their ability to form a genuine relationship with my dad — no small feat, as he could be a difficult man at times. They showed patience, understanding, and warmth, and treated him with dignity while recognising his individual preferences, routines, and personality. When family members were unable to be with him, Guardian Angels became more than carers — they were trusted companions and, in many ways, true friends.

Their experience and expertise were invaluable in guiding us through this stage of life, and having them involved in my family’s journey was an absolute and unexpected pleasure.

A particularly heartfelt thank you goes to Eliska, who was always on the other end of the phone or email whenever we needed support. She treated us not as clients, but as family, and her kindness, responsiveness, and care will never be forgotten.

Guardian Angels will forever hold a special place in our family’s story, and we are deeply grateful for the care, humanity, and friendship they gave to my father — and to us.
