Micro lot trading was one of the main advantages for me at the beginning. I did not want to risk large volumes right away, so during the first 2 weeks I traded minimum position sizes and tested my Forex strategy. I placed around 30 small trades, gradually increasing the volume only after reviewing the results. This approach helped me avoid emotional decisions.

I use IlumaConcept for two strategies: medium-term trades on indices and short-term currency trades. I usually hold index positions for 2 to 5 days, while currency trades are closed within the same day. I like that I can work with different assets on one platform without switching between several services. This is especially convenient when I monitor 5–7 instruments at the same time.

One thing that was important to me was a secure account opening process with proper document verification. With IlumaConcept, I had to upload my ID and complete the standard verification process, which was approved in less than a day. That actually increased my confidence in the platform, because it showed they take client checks and security seriously rather than operating without proper control or verification procedures.

I contacted support several times regarding verification, deposits, and account settings. On average, I received a reply within 10–20 minutes during working hours. On the Pro account, support is available 24/5, which is enough for me since I mainly trade from Monday to Friday. All my questions were resolved without long back-and-forth communication.

I chose the Elite account because of its conditions for larger capital. The minimum deposit is $100,000, but it offers 0 pips per lot commission, ZERO spreads, and 24/7 support. This matters to me because I trade not only during the European session, but also during the U.S. market. In the first month, I tested around 10 assets and was satisfied with the execution speed.

I opened a Pro+ account with a $50,000 deposit because zero spreads and leverage up to 1:1000 were important for my trading style. I use this account for short-term trading on Forex and indices. On average, I make 120–150 trades per month, so trading costs matter a lot. The Pro+ conditions fit my strategy well, especially with a 0.5 pips per lot commission and ZERO spreads.

After opening the account, I received help comparing the available account types and choosing the right option. I was considering Basic and Pro, but with a planned deposit of $20,000, I chose Pro because of the better spreads and leverage up to 1:300. The personal manager explained the differences in commissions, withdrawal conditions, and available instruments. This saved me time on comparing everything myself.

I used to trade only currencies, but with IlumaConcept I started adding other instruments. I now use 4 out of 7 available asset groups: Forex, Metals, Energy, and Indices.
