I bought 8 Meross MSS210, 26 Feb 2022 Order# 503-9716261-2101437, as I spend a lot of time away from my house with the most recent stint being for 7 months. Whilst I didn't have any trouble installing with Apple Homekit, I did notice the units would seem to loose contact with host frequently (ie: Red Illumination around switch), but didn't have any major hiccups (occasional) whilst I was at home and system was functioning turning on and off when I had set them to, I had been away a few short trips and all seemed as normal. I went for what was supposed to be a 2 week visit in July 2023 and got conned into renovating their bathroom for them which put me home late Feb 2024 for a week, then another trip to Melbourne for another month. Whilst away I had noticed when occasionally checking my Homekit app that a few of the switches were not responding (not a lot I can do being away)...During my short layover I noted 5 of my "Smart Switches" were playing silly buggers and cycling on and off constantly, I tried multiple times to reset and just gave up at that time as I had other stuff of more importance, and would deal with it when I get back from Melb! 08 April 2024 I contacted Meross Support and conveyed the above and its timeline, I supplied relevant details of purchase, they then got back and asked for videos of all the faulty units being (trying) RESET, after going through that rigmarole (individual short file capable of being sent - ie: carrier mb restrictions) for them to respond with they are outside warranty and effectively TUFF TIddies when they have effective shat themselves during the months that I was away. I need reliability for the house is unattended, way out in the country.
Given the fail rate (7of8) of the switches, as a company, I would be probably a little more considerate of the circumstance and the reputational goodwill, sadly this was not to be, so it's a confirmed thumbs down from me!

Meross graciously agreed to refund the purchase price.
I rate this service as generous and rare, and I heartily recommend this company.

I bought a Meross product from Amazon (3 x Smart Water Leak Sensosr) which worked perfectly as I expected. Unfortunately one of them had a battery missing (I suspect was an Amazon return and first buyer stole a battery). Suda at Meross handled my problem absolutely perfectly so I vote 5* for customer service and 5* for product.
50% failure rate - in my experience
Bought a pack of 4 plugs. 2 have failed just outside the warranty period. I suggested to the support group that a 50% failure was unacceptable an suspicious. Any comms with Meross support support team has stopped - basically a " go away" message. Very disappointed.
Awful customer services response time and no tel no?
Purchased pack of four smart plugs and tried to install on my friends house. the system sense the plugs but unable to configure into the network(timed out for times) wrote an email 4 days ago and yet to receive response. There is no telephone support either. what kind of company does not include a phone number? are they operating behind a shed somewhere?

L'azienda produce componenti per la smart home, personalmente ho acquistato le loro termovalvole e un sensore ambientale di temperatura e umidità , oltre al loro hub per la gestione unificata dell'ecosistema.
I prodotti sono di qualità discreta/buona, solidità non sempre eccelsa e design pulito. Tra i punti di forza il prezzo concorrenziale e una funzionalità davvero ottima, oltre all'integrabilità con hub personali come home assistant.
Di solito acquisto i loro prodotti su siti di e-commerce noti; utimamente ho invece acquistato sul loro sito un componente non disponibile altrove: esperienza agrodolce e non per colpa di Meross.
La spedizione dalla Cina Ú stata veloce (meno di una settimana), ma il corriere italiano (GLS) ha causato grossi problemi alla consegna per un cavillo (ho dedicato una recensione all'accaduto).
Il supporto Meross mi ha assistito molto bene per cercare di risolvere la situazione; quando Ú stato loro chiaro che il corriere non avrebbe consegnato la merce, hanno disposto il rimborso del prodotto a mio favore.
Ritengo che la scelta di un corriere affidabile sia responsabilità dell'azienda e questa Ú l'unica macchia nella mia esperienza con loro, cosa che giustifica una stella in meno nella mia valutazione.
Per il resto sono soddisfatto dei loro prodotti e dell'esperienza con il supporto commerciale.
Deceptive advertising
I tried to purchase a humidity sensor from their official store. The price showed as Australian dollars but was really US dollars so what I thought I paid was actually much much more when converted from US to AUD. This is deceptive advertising.

I wanted to add a smart garage door opener so that I can use my phone instead of carrying a key fob, but I'm not sure if Meross' product works with my garage door, so I emailed them.
To my surprise, while most people couldn't be bothered to work during Christmas, Cecilia, Meross' support staff, replied to me on the 26th December, telling me my garage door opener is compatible with their product.
So I ordered and received it a few days ago. Opened the box and started to scratch my head because I have little to no electronic knowledge, not sure which wire goes with which, especially when my garage door opener has about 10 wires connected to it.
So I emailed Cecilia again and asked for help. A day later, she came back with photos on which I should be connecting the wires.
Now it's all set up and working flawlessly! I can now use my phone to open and close the garage door, also knowing whether it's closed or if I have forgotten to close my garage, "keyless" finally.
Very happy.

The product stopped working and Meross didnât want to send us a reimbursement even if the product was still covered by the 2 year warranty!
Long version:
We bought 4 smart plugs, 2 of these have stopped working for no reasons sometime between Sept/Nov but before the end of the warranty (22 Dec 2023).
These plugs were installed in our mountain hut, so a place where we go twice a year. We reached out to the Support team once we discovered that the plugs were broken, they told us that the warranty terminated 12 days ago.
We told them that is clearly visibile from the App that the devices have stopped working BEFORE the warranty termination: nothing.
Very disappointed, the are just a brand that builds and ships low quality products.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced (and I've managed customer service for 3 different company in the past 30 years)
Some of these folks are just plain stupid. I bought an MSS630 Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug from them that failed after a couple days use -- it was dead, period, no light no nothing. Some dodo named Faye wanted me to tell her what the MAC address was for the plug that had no power whatsoever. Then the dodo wanted a video showing there was no light or power! Duh. After several more back and forths and a couple weeks later I finally got a replacement. Will never buy a Meross product again.

Found them to be soul destroying, many hours wasted, junk.
Tried every trick and suggestion on the internet to pair them to my smart home Google hub and finally gave up in absolute frustration and disgust.
I have no problems with d link - grid connect - and other smart home systems in the past.
Do not touch these with a 10 foot pole.
Replacement under warranty
Smart garage door opener failed after 12 months, under warranty for 2 years. Contacted Meross support through their website, attached a video showing the problem. Had a response within 48 hours and a replacement device arrived within the week. Excellent service.
Bad customer services no refund and silly policies
Do not buy from Meross they are happy to take your money, I have spent lost with them but when something is wrong they donât want to refund and when you open a dispute they will trick you in to closing the dispute saying itâs there policy that they canât refund wile dispute is open then when you close you can do everything about it no refund donât trust them, This is the second time I have had problem getting money for a faulty product itâs a nightmare I will not be buy again as the switch I bought was unsafe I am contacting trading standards about this switch as I have kids and the front plate is un secure you can pull off with your hand very easily leaving the circuit board of the switch open for electric shock I took the switch off the wall as unsafe with kids very very disappointed in Meross once again

Contact Meross yesterday as I was promised a refund 5 days later no refund so Contacted again asking what was going on and the customer services told me that they was still awaiting for the manger I have sent over 30 messages to them in total, at this point Iâm getting very very annoyed so told them I was posting review on here then Iâm contacting trading standards as the switch is unsafe there reply was (OK) so I contacted trading standards they are getting involved and I have an sending them the wall switch
Great customer service
I had problem with my Meross thermostat while changing the wi-fi - which I couldnât solve by myself. I send email to customer service and with a blink of an eye I was able to sort everything.
Customer service respond so quickly and helped me to connect my thermostat. They was able to get back my QR code which I lost.

Meross frequently block cloud access to their cloud control and request that you email them or contact support. I have tried both. The don't reply to the emails and contacting their support team on their site is a waste of time. Having been pending for an hour yesterday they disconnected me and finished for the day. And again this morning waiting an hour and no response.
