I'm leaving. Lebara created a storm if issues from not crediting card payments, not sending new Sims & then deactivating my current SIM without me knowing. Customer service apauling and scripted. They... ãã£ãšèŠã
Contrary to most reviews on trustpilot, I have had no issues with Lebara. Sim arrived next day, popped it into an old phone and activated straight away by making a call. Got PAC number from old networ... ãã£ãšèŠã
Twice Iâve tried to get roaming working both in Italy and Portugal and twice theyâve failed to sort it out. I am now without any roaming whatsoever and the Lebara staff say that technical support isnâ... ãã£ãšèŠã

rude and useless customer service agents
The customer support doesnât help at all, but rather irritates. It took me an hour of talking to 3 agents to get an answer to my question!
2 of these agents from India were simply useless, were rude and they even hung up the call. It was completely clear that they didn't understand where they are and what their work is.
I felt like I'm calling to some random place with no standarts policy and I also had to beg them to talk with me decently!?
I didn't expect that from Lebara!
There is a chaos going on there! I asked to connect me with manager but they just simply hang up the call!
The company needs to pay attention to what is going on there.

Hi unfortunately things havenât started smoothly so far since I initiated a sim only monthly deal now 11 days ago . Issue S I m card order number G0041295817
not arrived !
This despite two contacts with customer services and then attempting to construct an online request form for assistance which failed to send despite repeated attempts apparently due to â invalid captcha â
Lebara have my contact details from taking out the contract and have ironically emailed me to advise I initiate activation of the s I m card as limited time left to do so .
Hence regretfully communicating by Trustpilot seems my only option remaining.
Would the company please contact me and resolve this matter by forwarding the SIM card asap .

Don't expect any support from a cheap company
Don't expect any support. I signed up to a uSwitch Lebara deal months ago, then decide to change my email address, and port in an O2 number which I bought recently as it was a gold nimber. The lady told me to deregister the SIM and re-register it to change email address. Then I gave her the PAC code. I wasn't told this would end my deal. When I called later, I explained I was on holiday, she reassured me it would be sorted and someone would call in 2 days. I mentioned that I won't be able to answer as on holiday in Spain. She said they would contact me by email. I then get a missed call, and an email to say they tried but will try again. I immediately called, as I agreed we would do it by email not by phone call. Anyways, he first of all says it is because I changed my email address, I pointed out firstly that under GDPR I am allowed to correct my contact details. He then said it was because I ported in my old number, not listening to me. Then he hung up. I redialed, got someone different, he told that they would call back in 50 minutes. They never did. All, I will say is they are still very cheap, and the support reflects this. This is why they don't get one star, but two.

Appalling customer service. The people you contact just do not understand and ask the same questions over and over again. Promised actions but nothing ever happens. They are a joke and it needs to be sorted out.

I am now without any roaming whatsoever and the Lebara staff say that technical support isnât available on the weekend, the very time people go away on holiday and need it to be working!! Go somewhere else, they just take your money and donât provide the services youâve signed up for.. a rip off.

Service very poor: Impossible to receive verification codes on messaging service.
Impossible to send SMS to Europe (although plan includes them).
Repeated (and unanswerable) messages re non existent phone calls from customer services.
Customer service totally ineffective (issues still unsolved after 3 weeks); agents on chat courteous, only one solved a problem; agents on phone: (call centre, India) courteous (mostly); 2 tetchy, dismissive, interrupting, one rude, hanging up and blocking number.
Wanted to join - poor Customer Service and conflicting information drove me away.
Just visited Lebara's website, with the intention of switching from O2, but also wanting to keep using e-SIM, which apparently - Lebara supports. Couldn't see any option for this, so started a chat with an assistant (not chatbot). Things took a turn for the worse here, as responses form the assistant took ages, I thought the chat had stalled on so many occasions. I was then advised to just click "e-sim" when applying; but I was already at the "payment" stage, with no option for e-SIM offered. Then, another huge wait for a reply, so prompted again, then eventually advised to select "iPhone AIR" to get an e-SIM. I pointed out that I had a Samsung, not an iPhone, and that this option stated "e-SIMS only work with iPhone AIR". No response. Eventually, I sacked it off and am looking elsewhere. I do expect a provider's: a) website to be factual, informative, and b) Customer Service Assistants to know their product, and C) respond in less than 3 to 4 minutes each time.

They can't read the issue your raising or previous contact history so you'll have to repeat everything over & over and be lucky if you can get them to resolve their own errors. Be prepared to spend hours attempting to communicate with a company that goes by Indian clocks, not the UK times. If they say end of day they mean end of day in India and that's even when you check it's UK time. Nightmare can't wait till I'm free if them in a few days.
Awful service/communication
Awful service/communication. When I was eventually connected to a human the advice given by them completely contradicted what was both openly advertised and in black and white on the official LEBARO letter received.Have initiated my 14 day cooling off right to cancel. Honestly, proceed with great caution!

LEBARA SIM minutes do not work in India, Data seems to work, their support suggests checking phone settings and re-setting your phone, that's not the problem it's a Vodafone Idea (Vi) to Vodafone issue.
You cannot contact LEBARA for support as you are unable to call them using normal landline type number, so forget about dialling 5588 or +44 207 0310791.
There is no "WhatsApp" or any other type of number to call.
Think twice about signing up for a LEBARA SIM to think it will work in India.

Lebara is a worse service provider
This is the most ridiculous service provider that I have been dealing with. I switched to Lebara and activated my sim, but unfortunately I am not able to make any telephone calls. I only can receive incoming calls.
Fraud Company
Fraud Company. The package doesn't cover Switzerland but they charge you if you switch on your mobile in Switzerland. The explanation is 'You used Swiss network'.
They charged 10 Euro and there is no detail about it.
Bank Fraud
After my Lebara sim stopped working, I had numerous online chats and calls to get it sorted. I was informed to get another sim, which I did. My bank account was then cleared out!!! AVOID at all costs!!! Lebara needs to find these fraudsters, as they should have records of all my correspondence.

Mijn beltegoed van 30 euro verdween als sneeuw voor de zon. Ook 's nachts verdwenen er weer euro's van mijn beltegoed. Ik zou geïnternet hebben. In het eerste gesprek werd er toegegeven dat dat niet zo was en kreeg ik weer 20 euro beltegoed. Ook dat verdween. Toen kreeg ik het 'uitstekende' advies dat ik wifi uit moest schakelen als ik op Whatsapp zat. Dom genoeg ook gedaan en zo binnen 10 minuten 7 euro beltegoed weg. De rest verdween ook. Nooit meer Lebara.
Lebara customers support chaos
Had 3 contracts and requested cancellation through chat online "not to have delays" Lebara says... After several trials and contacts though chat, phone and email nothing happened and still receiving invoices without service. Which I will not pay as respected all their rules by online chat.
Urgently need help with roaming
Currently left high and dry while roaming in Australia. Urgently needed to restore voice call ability but it didnât work. Which I cannot fix as the iOS Chat function has never worked for months and I need roaming to make a voice call to Customer Services so Iâm in a doom loop.
