I have just completed the Pronunciation and Phonetics Level 1 course with Arianna. I’ve been living in the UK for many years, but I’ve never made so much progress in improving my accent as I have in the last few months. The course was really enlightening and, most importantly, it was fun, with lots of opportunities to interact and practise. Arianna is an amazing teacher who creates a great atmosphere in class, helping everyone bond with each other and creating a strong group spirit throughout the course. I’m already looking forward to doing Level 2 and hopefully meeting many of my Level 1 classmates again!

I recently attended this pronunciation workshop and found it extremely valuable. The course was conducted in English and although the mayority of the participants were Italians, other nationalities were welcomed, too. The teachers provided individual guidance, making sure that every participant received tailored feedback and support. I also aprecciated the structured and modern teaching approach, which combined phonetic theory with immediate pratical application. The visual slides were very useful and the fun rhythm activities made learning engaging. Working in small groups allowed more interaction and the self-evaluation recording helped to track progress. A highly professional and interactive workshop. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their pronunciation and spoken communication skills.

WORKSHOP OF SOUNDS - LONDON EDITION 2026
If I had to describe this workshop in one word, it would be: shocking.
Not because it was unexpected, but because it genuinely shook something inside me.
It may sound dramatic, but when you discover that your brain has been fooling you for years, associating the wrong sounds with specific spellings, you experience a real shift. Suddenly, you realize that what you thought was true isn't necessarily true at all. And from that moment on, you can't unsee it.
But this workshop was so much more than learning.
It was about people.
About meeting curious, inspiring minds. About stepping out of your comfort zone, acting with complete strangers, writing a script together and performing it. About listening to the stories of Italians who built their lives abroad.

And then there were Aurora and Arianna.
Two professionals with different strengths that complement each other perfectly. Meeting them was one of the greatest gifts of this experience. Their expertise, energy, and generosity have given me insights and advice that I will carry with me for a long time.

I arrived expecting to learn.
I left with a different mindset.

I strongly recommend it!

If no one ever taught you phonetics or pronunciation, this course will raise your awareness. It is a tailor-made workshop designed perfectly for Italians (and honestly, any non-native speaker) that you truly won’t find anywhere else. I learned so much, and the best part is that we had a lot of fun doing it! Highly recommend.

I enrolled in this course hoping to improve my English pronunciation...

Instead, I found myself involved in a series of events including a crime I didn't commit, an attempted romantic scandal, an airport queue incident that nearly escalated into an international diplomatic crisis, and the artistic destruction of a perfectly innocent pair of my trousers :D

Somewhere in the middle of all that, I also learned a lot about English pronunciation ahah

Jokes aside, the course was excellent! The teachers were knowledgeable, engaging, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping students improve. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and fun, making it easy to participate and learn.

What I appreciated most was that the experience never felt like a traditional classroom. It felt more like spending a few days with a group of interesting people than a classic boring course.

I came away with be-ttA pro-nan-si-ei-scian :D greater confidence, new beautiful memories, and a strong suspicion that my trousers will never fully recover...

I attended the Workshop of Sounds on 3–5 June in Twickenham, an intensive and engaging course focused on English phonetics and pronunciation.
Aurora and Arianna are both fantastic teachers. We worked on pronunciation, intonation and rhythm, but what made the course particularly special for me were the role plays and drama scenes, where every student was encouraged to put what they had learned into practice each day, which made the experience both memorable and very effective.
I also met a brilliant group of people, which made the whole experience even more fantastic. I look forward to attending the Level 2 workshop.

The course was organised with the most rigorous perfection. The teaching level was excellent! The course was intensive, engaging and entertaining. I reccomend attending it to everyone is willing to improve their English skills.

I couldn't be happier with my choice to attend OLL classes.
The real strength of their approach is the method: it is perfectly systematic and structured and clear, yet incredibly engaging and fun at the same time using drama as a way to practice. You never feel bored, and the constant feedback and corrections from the teachers are invaluable for making real progress.

I took the Phonetic and Pronunciation course level 1 and I'm actually on level 2 with Aurora, which was just as fun as it was useful. She's an amazing teacher who is truly passionate about what she does and knows how to transmit that energy.

Currently, I am also doing free-talking sessions with Ilaria: she is also a very talented and competent teacher. I love to attend these sessions as our conversations are always pleasant and stimulating, and through her feedbacks she is helping me tremendously with my fluency as well as with pronunciation too.

Il corso con Arianna è stato molto utile e proficuo. Lei è un'insegnante preparatissima e molto competente. Ho apprezzato molto la sua capacità di entrare nei dettagli della fonetica e di spronarci a " pulire" la nostra pronuncia. Inoltre ricevere il feedback sui compiti permette di capire gli errori e di migliorare costantemente. Le sue lezioni mettono la curiosità di superare i propri schemi linguistici e motivano a

I have just completed the Phonetics Level 1 course with Arianna. Enrolling in this course was one of the best decisions I have made this year! I discovered that it really is possible to work on your English pronunciation and improve it. Arianna helped us notice sounds, stress, and intonation in a completely new way, and I can’t wait to put everything into practice!

I can highly recommend this school. I am currently attending a pronunciation course with Aurora, and I have noticed significant improvements in my vowel sounds. Aurora is a professional, knowledgeable, and supportive teacher who creates an excellent learning environment. I am very happy with my progress and look forward to continuing the course.

Really useful and helped improve my english level massively

I have completed the writing course with Ilaria and I can guarantee I am extremely satisfied! Ilaria was great the lessons were fun and the homework was great to learn!! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to improve their writing skills while learning in a relaxed and engaging environment:)

I have found this could not very appropriate for corporate peopleas I am, despite completing level 1. Everything appear the opposite of every rule and the jingle is everything will be clear in the next lesson when we will see this this and that and after a few lesson it changes to everything will be much cleare when we pull everything togethere in the next course. I was hoping to find small value added in every lesson as all have different topic. No dedicate assistance for those who come without a clue of phonetics alphabet.

I have attended three phonetic and pronunciation courses with Aurora and I'm super happy with all of them. My knowledge of this subject and my pronunciation skills have gained big advantage of Aurora's tips and explanations. Aurora is a fantastic teacher. She is very professional, makes students feel always welcome to ask questions and she is open-minded.
