I purchased travel insurance from Peopl.ie for two years in a row to cover various travel and last year I was stranded in Toronto due to flight cancellation, followed by flight delays and rescheduling and ended up on an epic journey to get home. They covered none of the costs for flight delays/cancellations or expenses incurred and lost and damaged luggage was also written off in their fine print reasoning on why its not covered. This insurance is pointless. Don’t waste your money.

It has been a very long time since I dealt with a company that I wasn't left hanging on the line waiting to speak to an actual human being! But today I was given the number of Peopl. Insurance from my local credit union to organise some holiday insurance. I gave them a call with only a short time left on my break. Once I went through the options offered, my call was answered pretty much immediatley. I spoke to an Agent called Ian, who was polite, efficent and very easy to deal with. He brought me through the process of getting my insurance sorted, my call lasted less than 10 minutes and a I came away a very happy customer with my insurance sorted. I will definetly be using Peopl. Insurance again.
