Florian's approach has been really great while working with our 7 year old. The lessons are rooted in play and connection while instruction is catered to meet their skill level. Lessons are well-planned and our child, who tends to take their time to warm up to new people, looks forward to the lessons.

Florian helped me boost my Dutch conversation and writing skills in the lead up to the integration exams, which I passed the first time around. While I had already come a long way with building passive skills, I didn't feel confident with producing and had a lot of difficulty stringing sentences to together. Florian really provided a "safe haven" for me to push myself and make mistakes. He was thorough on picking up on my strengths and weaknesses, and he offered fun and creative ways to get past stumbling blocks. I highly recommend Florian for anyone who wants to take their Dutch to the next level in a fun and engaging way.

I've enjoyed my lessons with Florian and look forward to continuing them. He is a very enthusiastic teacher, and the environment is welcoming and non-judgmental.

I am very happy with Florian's reliability and the flexibility of lessons that center around topics that I find interesting and my areas for improvement.

When my daughter began lessons with Florian, she had no knowledge of Dutch, either in speaking or understanding. She quickly grew to love his lessons and eagerly looked forward to them each week. Florian took the time to personalize his lesson plans to match her unique needs. His own experience as an international in a foreign country gave him valuable insight into the challenges she faces as a young international student. After just a few lessons, her Dutch improved so much that she started making more Dutch friends at school. We greatly appreciate his professionalism and his gentle, thoughtful approach to teaching young children.

I had a very good experience taking Dutch classes with Florian! He is involved in what he does, and you can see that he himself is curios about languages, which was often very motivating. There is a lot of flexibility in lesson customisation, and my lessons with Florian changed a lot depending on the study materials I had available and on what I wanted to practice. If you choose to have lessons on location, the atmosphere there is very pleasant! Definitely would recommend!

Florian is helping me to get ready for the ONA interview. In our lessons, he focuses on encouraging and helping me find the confidence to speak Dutch and learn from my mistakes. He is patient, open to suggestions, and gives lots of tips.

Florian has been a very dedicated teacher helping my girlfriend with her Basic Integration Exam. He structured a very comprehensive study plan and was very dedicated to the followups of her progress. I really appreciated his professionalism.

Florian is a great Dutch teacher. Learning a new language can be an intimidating and challenging experience, but Florian has been making the process so much easier for me.

One thing I particularly appreciate about him is his ability to motivate me to keep on trying, even when I am overwhelmed with my own tasks. In addition to his motivational skills, he is also very easy to connect with which makes the lesson very entertaining.

Both myself and my husband started learning Dutch 30 August 2022 together with our tutor .

We had many personal challenges , my husbands work and my mother died and I was travelling every month to UK during this time and up until February 2023.

Florian has been extremely em empathetic and flexible with our sessions . Despite it being very dis jointed because of this , our sessions complimented our online and book learning .
He is patient , reactive to our specific needs , considerate in our home and we both feel at ease with his teaching and would recommend him to anyone .

Florian is an outstanding teacher. He makes sure to focus on the areas that you specifically seek to improve, he is patient, and provides valuable feedback in all areas from written to oral. I strongly recommend if you are looking to improve your Dutch with a teacher that is able to adapt his methods to what fits your personal goals.

For about a year I have been taking Dutch lessons with Florian. He is a patient and friendly teacher. He is well suited to me being absolutely biligual in English and Dutch. He also has knowledge of German which is important reference point for me. We have been using a book to structure the lessons and each lesson just flies by as it is so fun. He can thoughly recommend him as a teacher!

I have been having lessons with Florian for approximately 6 months! In my opinion he is an amazing teacher. He is very kind, informative and fun. I enjoy every lesson as we always have something to discuss. My level of Dutch is B1/B2 and my main goal is to practise my speaking. Florian has helped me a lot with this since he knows how to correct my mistakes without interrupting my speech. 1000% recommend taking a lesson with him!

I've been having lessons with Florian for about a year. I can say for sure that the difference between the first and the last lesson is drastic. Florian not only has knowledge about grammar and knows how Dutch works under the hood, he also has natural ability of explaining all that in a simplistic and very easy-going manner, so after each lesson you learn something new and feel super motivated and satisfied. I personally really like his approach of having the list of topics from different aspects of life. Going through each topic, you expand your vocabulary, have fun, and improve your grammar at the same time.

I already knew a few basiscs in terms of Dutch vocabulary and grammar. Florian helped me to shape those into some solid speaking and writing skills. All of this happened while conversing about common interests and topics that are relevant to me. Florian corrects when necessary, but encourages you to challenge yourself at the same time. I really appreciate his teaching style.

Starting with near-zero Dutch language ability, I have worked with Florian for a couple of months. Florian is very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and inventive. He has a strong intent to bring understanding and progress and find individually-tailored methods for success. With Florian’s help, I have developed the ability and confidence to practice speaking with him, but also with others out in the real Dutch world. I can feel my progress. Florian is easy to hang out with and he definitely gets my recommendation.
