Update on feedback

Update on feedback.
Ground compactor stopped working so phoned up Thursday afternoon and was sent a form to fill for the warranty. The company phoned me on Friday and asked when I would like it picked up. Asked for Monday and it was picked up Monday. Got it back on Friday sorted.
Staff on the phone are brilliant and the service was excellent. All in all a very good experience.

Dust Extractor Evolution R15VAC

I ordered a dust extraction unit & adapter, it got delivered to a wrong address by the courier & subsequently i phoned Evolution at the request of the courier company , Evolution quickly sent out a replacement which arrived the very next day , fantastic Customer support & turnaround..I have Evolution tools anyway which are awesome pieces of kit & now they are mated to their respectful dust extraction unit which is a brilliant little unit, A great company of people who make great power tools - Jim@BigVillageCreations

Evolution table saws having had the


Evolution table saws having had the Rage5s for a few years and I must say being just a DIYer once I tuned it in for me it was excellent.
Now we have ventured again with the R255TBL+ now this is a vast improvement on the Rage5s and I must say that Evolution listened to what users had to say, and what an absolute joy this table saw is to use the ease of tuning it up is very impressive and simple, the storage of items is very good along with the great placement of a very important piece of kit and that is the push stick superb.
Having said all that there are somethings that need a little bit more thought nothing to cause any problems in the use of the table saws but would be an improvement,
1st the instructions could do with a serious overhaul as they are poor
2nd I think the adjustment of the 0 deg and the 45 deg concentric adjusters could be better
3rd the least being there is no storage for the various blades like on the Rage5s
Apart from those I’m well pleased with my purchase

Warranty not worth the paper its written on

Bought a brand new evomag 42, upon attempting to use it the magnet and drill cut out after drilling 2 14mm holes, called customer service to be told to fill an online warranty form, fair enough seems simple, only the warranty form was out of action due to technical issues so called back thinking theyll just take my details over the phone as its only very basic info they need, no again i was told to email them by a rude and unhelpful agent. This was on a friday. On monday email came back saying dhl would be collecting following day, no other details such as consignment number or anything just to attach case number to box. 6pm tuesday rolls around having wasted a day waiting for no collection. Email them straight away and they blame dhl. Its now friday again and no further forward than i was last friday having wasted a full day and piles of emails. In summary if you have a warranty issue good luck because youll need it! Given the choice again id either buy a better brand or buy a cheap unbadged one with no warranty as this may aswell not have a warranty anyway and is also poor quality.

Am 18.03.2024 hatte ich die SÀge in Venlo bei
UPS SCS NEDERLAND BV C/0 EVOLUTION
persönlich abgeliefert und sofort die LieferbestÀtigung an kundenservice bei evolutionpowertools.com per e-Mail und Handy-Foto geschickt.

Es passierte mal wieder NICHTS - und das ohne jedwedes ZurÃŒckbehaltungsrecht!
Erst als ich am 24.03.2025 den Fall bei Paypal eskalierte kam per e-Mail seitens kundenservice bei evolutionpowertools.com am 25.03.2025 die Bereitschaft zur RÃŒckzahlung des Kaufbetrages.
Mittlerweile hatte aber PayPal die HÀnde auf den gezahlen Betrag als RÃŒckforderung, sodass EvolutionPowerTools mich anschrieb und mir die Option ließ, den Fall bei PayPal zu schließen oder zu warten bis PayPal in dem Fall entscheidet.
Da ein geschlossener Fall bei PayPal nicht wieder geöffnet werden kann, falls z.B. doch keine RÌckerstattung vom VerkÀufer erfolgte, habe ich mich fÌr sicheres Warten entschieden.
Letzten Endes ist dieser Vorfall total nervig und das GeschÀftsmodell ohne After-Sale-Service kann nicht ohne weiteres von Kunden erkannt werden, zumal die Suggestion von Service auf der Webseite stattfindet.

Also vor Kauf prÃŒfen, ob man keine Rechnung, keine Ersatzteile, kein Widerrufsrecht und keinen Service in Deutschland braucht, denn der RÃŒckversand per UPS nach Venlo hÀtte mich mehr als 240 € gekostet!

Faulty or not, that is the question

Ordered a very expensive piece of equipment and paid for a Saturday delivery. Only part of the order was delivered on the Saturday. I had to argue with customer support to get a refund of the delivery as they wanted to give me a part refund as part was delivered. Turned out the equipment was faulty and I was told to send in photos which I did promptly. Then I received an email apologising for the issue and asking for a lot of information that they already have. I sent it and phoned to confirm to be told that it now goes in a queue to be triaged to decide if it is a fault and then make a warranty claim. So a product that I ordered and needed for a set date is now sat in the garage unable to be used because Evolution cannot determine if the issue they apologised for is actually a fault! Now I have to wait for some other person to assess my photos and decide if I am able to have a machine that is not faulty!

Shocking customer service possibly


Shocking customer service possibly worst tool and company I have dealt with I am now being left with having to dispose of a faulty tool after arguing for a refund as they can’t organise collection not only did we loose time on the job but money for people to wait while they didn’t collect. Never buy from them if u want customer service

Warranty not worth anything, but sorted in the end

Just received a table saw from Evolution. Good bit of kit except the rack and pinion that moves the fence gets stuck half way. I am told by the company that it's is 'within tolerance'. If it is then their quality assurance must be dreadful and their warranty not worth a anything. So it's a big gamble buying from them. You may be lucky and get a good machine, but if you are not, don't expect any help.
Update on 25th Mar. Issue now resolved with thanks to Sarah in Customer Service who never gave up trying to help. This was in stark contrast to Evolution's Technical Assessor who made the initial wrong snap judgement. Something perhaps the company should learn from..... In the end all was sorted and, as I said above, it's a good bit of kit.

Schlechter Service

Im Dezember 2024 war die neue Evolution TischsÀge defekt, wochenlange unbeantwortete Emails, mehrere Telefonate und dann Ende Februar 2025 sagt die Serviceabteilung, wir haben keine Ersatzteile fÌr Ihre TischsÀge?
Leider kann ich nicht null Sterne vergeben, also muss es ein Stern sein.

Absolute excellent service provided

Phoned company late Friday afternoon to check what exact model circular saw I had been gifted, and when that had been identified by helpful representative, they also provided me with part number and price plus postage of the part I also required.
Ordered part and it was delivered following morning at 10.30am
Cant get better than that.

Appalling Warranty Service

I purchased an Evolution Evosystem Pressure Washer from Screwfix in November 2024. It developed a serious fault less than 3 months after purchase. I contacted Screwfix customer support who told me to return it to my local Screwfix store, they would take the faulty item and order a replacement for me. The local store refused to accept the return and said they would send a form to Evolution and they would arrange collection and replacement.
Next day I received an email from Evolution to say the faulty machine would be collected the next day by DHL for inspection by Evolution engineers. DHL did not collect on the appointed day, but collected a day later, no explanation or apology.
4 days later an email from Evolution confirmed the machine was faulty but they did not carry the parts to fix it, so would be sending me a "B Stock" item to replace it. I never purchased a B Stock machine, so why should I accept this as a replacement for my faulty "A Grade" purchase. Evolution would not accept my concerns that this was not a satisfactory replacement, and when I requested to make a formal complaint, my request was ignored. I asked for a full refund of my original purchase instead of a"B stock" machine, but they refused to do this as my original purchase had been from Screwfix. Screwfix refused my request for a refund as it had been a special order, and Evolution was liable for any claim.
When the replacement arrived, the box was very tatty, had clearly been opened and resealed. The machine in the box was rusty on some exposed parts and the the paint quality was very poor with exposed bare metal parts that had not been properly painted.
My experience with Evolution Warranty was most unsatisfactory and I would not recommend anyone to even consider purchasing anything made by Evolution Power Tools.

Hello Mike and sorry to hear you are not happy with the service you have received.
Screwfix in this instance are your supplier, and ourselves as Evolution would cover warranty terms as the manufacturer.
Our terms for warranty are that we repair wherever possible, and if we cannot repair we will replace with a unit in a like for like condition, in your instance it was a B stock machine.
I have checked your case, and I cannot see that you reported the B stock unit received to be in poor condition.
Please can I ask that you provide images of the item received in replacement, along with its serial number where we can look into this further on your behalf.

Brought a gazebo got delivered the next


Brought a gazebo got delivered the next day put it up and the stitching was damaged in the corner and had damage on top cover. Messaged company and asked if they could send a new cover. They sent a complete whole new gazebo next day 10/10 no problems with the new one. First one must of been a Friday afternoon job company is brilliant sorted the issue straight away would recommend to anyone thanks evolution will use you again

Evolution Mitre Saw

I recently purchased an Evolution Mitre Saw. It is a superb piece of kit, strongly made and a pleasure to operate. I needed to contact customer services for advice, and my phone call was answered immediately. The customer service provided by Sarah was exceptional, thank you.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy Evolution tools again. As well as the saw's
build quality, accuracy and ease of calibration, the after-care is first class.
