Habe mich nach den Rezessionen für The Best Cars entschieden. Hatte im Januar einen Dacia für 18 Tage Ende April Anfangs Mai reserviert. Bei The Best Cars konnte ich die Schotterstein Versicherung mit reservieren was wichtig für die Fahrt zum Balos Beach ist. Gibt auch Mietwagen Anbieter welche die Fahrt zum Balos Beach verbieten. Der Mietpreis ist verglichen mit anderen Anbieter ebenfalls günstig. Übernahme am 23.April ging sehr schnell, bekam einen top gereinigten und gepflegten Dacia Senderos und 2 Flaschen Wasser für den Durst. Problemlos 18 Tage Kreta erkundet. Auto am 10 Mai zurück gebracht, nur schnell Tankanzeige kontrolliert und schon war alles gut. Liebes Best Cars Team mit Martin vielen lieben Dank für Eure Top Arbeit. Ich werde auch in 2 Jahren wieder bei Euch buchen.

I booked our car for a week from 26 April to 3 May 2026 based on previous reviews. I've booked a lot of cars over the years and can say hands down this was by far the easiest and most honest, transparent company I've ever dealt with. No hyper sales for additional insurance on pick up, just a simple handover of a car. We had a relatively old Fiat Panda in excellent condition and perfect for tight parking in Cretes congested town streets. If I go back to Crete, Ill be using them again.

Excellent service and a very good price. It's a 2 minute walk from the terminal to pick up your car and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at both pick-up and drop-off. They also respond promptly to emails.

Highly recommended - wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Wir hatten einen Dacia gemietet, der Top gepflegt und in Schuss war. Martin hatte uns noch spät empfangen und nach einer kurzen Einweisung konnten wir schon los. Auch die Rückgabe verlief problemlos, da wir das komplette Versicherungsangebot genutzt hatten. Auto abstellen, Schlüssel abgeben und fertig. Beim nächsten Kretabesuch werden wir Euch wieder in Anspruch nehmen :-) und Euch auch weiter empfehlen.

Recommend. Second time used and will do so again. Fair price and quality cars. They offer gravel road insurance as well as the standard on some of the cars which is really useful on Crete if you want to go to some of the smaller inland towns and villages. They provide a friendly welcome on arrival and respond to emails and queries quickly. Easy location to pick up and drop off as its just across the road from the Heraklion terminal.

For many years now, The Best Car Rentals is the company I trust. Impeccable service, most friendly and helpful staff and the best insurance package. No reason for me to change anything. Keep going the perfect work you do. Thank you very much!

From the moment of our booking until the time we gave back the car everything was incredibly organised.
I have to say it was the best experience I had with a rental company so far in my life and at an amazing price.
Rafaela welcomed us with cold water, car was clean and in great condition, throughout there were reminder emails with really useful information.
We managed to lock the keys in the car and again the solution happened in 5 minutes.
I would definetely recommend using them and you really added to our lovely holidays.

From the moment I chose Best Cars in Crete, everything went smoothly. I had made a mistake in my booking, but it was corrected without any problems. When our flight was delayed due to waiting for luggage, I sent a quick message to Best Cars and immediately received a reassuring reply that it was no issue at all.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of water and received a clear explanation about the car. Two days before the end of the rental period, I got a reminder message with instructions on where to return the car. I asked if I could bring it back half an hour later, and again, this was no problem.

Communication before and during the rental period was excellent, and the service was truly customer-friendly.

I would definitely rent a car from Best Cars again when I return to Crete!

My family and I just returned from an amazing 2-week holiday on the beautiful island of Crete. I have to give a huge shoutout to the fantastic car hire company we used during my stay - 'The Best Cars'.

From the moment we landed at Heraklion Airport, the experience was top-notch. We were warmly greeted by Martin, one of the 'The Best Cars' employees, who welcomed us with a big smile, and immediately took care of getting us set up with our rental car. The entire process was quick and effortless - no long lines or frustrating paperwork, just friendly service and a seamless transition into our holiday.

The car itself was in excellent condition - clean, well-maintained, and perfect for exploring the island. It handled the windy mountain roads with ease and made getting around Crete a total breeze. I was really impressed with how new and modern the vehicle was.

But the thing that really stood out to me was the fantastic communication from 'The Best Cars' team. Martin was always just a phone call away if we had any questions or needed assistance. He provided great tips on the best beaches, restaurants, and attractions to check out during our stay. It really felt like we had a local friend looking out for us.

Beste Autovermietung auf Kreta unserer Meinung nach.
Schon x-fach dort reserviert / gebucht, immer alles zur besten Zufriedenheit. Auch wenn wir es weiterempfohlen haben gab es immer super Feedback.
Reservierung / Buchung einfach via Website (wobei diese Mobil teils nicht Safari nutzbar ist). Die Preise sind sehr fair und günstiger als sehr viele andere Anbieter - auch zu Corona-Zeiten, bzw. danach als die Mietwagen auf Kreta knapp waren/sind. Option Fast-CheckIn mit Datenübermittlung vorab vereinfacht die Übergabe vor Ort sehr, ebenso die Wahl der Tankregelung Full/Full. Der Hauptstandort mit kleinem Schalter auf dem großen Platz direkt gegenüber vom HERaklion Flughafen ist super einfach zu finden - ansonsten ist meist auch ein Mitarbeiter am Flughafenausgang um einem zu helfen. Sehr netter Empfang, Flasche Wasser, teils ist Martin (Deutscher) vor Ort, was super easy ist, ansonsten alles auf englisch machbar. Übergabe und ggfs. Restzahlung wird professionell abgewickelt. Die Autos sind immer in einem tadellosen Zustand, gepflegt und machen immer einen sicheren Eindruck. Hatten nie Probleme mit den Mietwagen. Rückgabe sehr einfach, auch außerhalb der Besetzungszeiten. Rundum zufrieden, so muss Urlaub sein!
