I did not recieve one of the items I paid and others were not as advertised defintly a scam!

I wished I had read the reviews FIRST!

I purchased 2 tops and 1 pant from this SCAM site. Although I did receive the items there were either too small (I ordered a 2 XL) and such horrible quality material I would NEVER wear them. Even though they claim to offer a refund, they claim it will cost too much to return items (at our expense!) to CHINA, it is better for me to accept a 20% coupon instead. As if!!! If I had known they were from China I never would have purchased anything from them in the first place. On their website the designs look wonderful and the material looks great — But that is NOT what you will receive.

Thankfully I purchased these items through PayPal-- who were AWESOME in getting me my refund.

As far as I am concerned this is MAIL FRAUD and they should be banned in the USA.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. SCAM. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

I ordered several trousers and blouses that were declared as made of cotton and linen. The clothes I recieved instead are made of the worst kind of sinthetic. A material, I suspect, that is not non even meant for human clothing. A scam.

DO NOT ORDER anything from this company. While the pictures may look lovely on Instagram, the actual products are crap quality. Polyester with a cardboard feel! I foolishly thought I was buying from the US as prices were quoted in dollars. In truth, it came from China. They say on their website that Returns are easy but it is a lie, they don't want you to return anything and offer you a discount for the next order. As if you were going to order anything else from them! As I insisted, I was given a return address in China and was told that returns were at my expense and that if the items got lost, it was my responsibility. Which made me even more suspicious so I looked up online if anyone else had send anything back and it seems that every time, it was stuck somewhere and never got to its destination. I decided not to send it back as it would have cost me more money. I'm going to give these to charity even though I even feel bad about giving these horrible clothes to charity. There are a few companies like this advertising on Instagram. Watch out for them! Message to Instagram: do something about this false advertising!

This company is a rip-off. The clothes are made of thin polyester and very poorly made. I can’t believe I fell for this. The website looks trustworthy but it’s not. It states a 100% return for any reason policy, but that’s a lie. You will be told that returns are very difficult and costly so please accept a coupon for 20% off on your next order, which, trust me, you will never make. Uhg—the clothes are just plain ugly. I’m ashamed I bought them because I picture little kids sewing them for pennies a day. I actually thought I was buying from a Japanese manufacturer.

As has been said previously, cheap polyester / nylon fabrics. Soft woolly jumper was horrible - didn't look anything like the picture. And discount off items offered instead of return as I would have to pay shipping. Rubbish. Don't use them!

Agree with everything everyone else has already said about this “clothing.” I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered this worthless junk. Biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced as far as online shopping!

I would give zero start if I could but that’s not an option on this website. This company operates on the several different names when you order the billing comes from a different name and website and then confirmation comes through neweary. The clothes are not as advertised and are very cheap, thin polyester, type of material, but advertised as cotton linen mix. I’ve been battling for two weeks to be able to ship my products back and finally received a return address in China and they are expecting me to carry all costs including customs, please do not order from this aweful company that treats their customers with this disrespect.

Dress description says "linen blend" there is no linen it's all polyester. One shirt had seams that were not sewn together. I asked for a refund, they offered full refund if I would send back to China and pay shipping. Be ware always see what return policy is.
Paypal initiated contact but did zero to protect me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS W THIS COMPANY. I ORDERED 3 DRESSES AND A SHIRT, NOT WHAT THEY ADVERTISE. I AM OUT $94. Not happy about that at all.
They did refund $50. Running ads on IG saying Japanese style clothes going out of business. Buyer beware.

The fabric is not what is advertised (not a drop of cotton), the style is not what is shown in the photo, the colors are blurry.
My thoughts are they took some photos from a legit website, made cheap knock offs and are selling them at a low amount to suck people in who are interested in the quality product which is shown in the photos.
I don't really understand how the companies who are making the products which actually look like the photos don't put these guys out of business is beyond me.
Cheaply made products, bad return policy, etc....please stop these people from selling on instagram!!!!

Scam. Totally polyester imho but there are no tags to describe fabric. And the prints are all blurry. The clothes are awful. I emailed them for return policy but don’t expect to hear back. I suspect they won’t allow me to return even though they misrepresented their product. I think I just lost $121. I feel like my money was taken.

I have sent neweary the money and they have just stolen it as they have say “opps so problem with the payment “I have sent them the receipt but no reply.

Fabrics not as described - cheap polyester instead of 95% cotton, 5% nylon; second cotton blend. Back and forth emails, wanting me to accept reduction and keep; wanting me to send photos; saying would take ages for refund and I would have to pay postage.

It is awful! When I contacted the customer service, they say "Since all returns need to be sent to China. The freight incurred by the return shall be borne by the buyer" They offered 15 % off coupon, but I don't want to buy any more products from them.

Fabric is not what is claimed. Print is dreadful. Sewing is embarrassing. My item went straight to landfill sadly.

The cloth I received is very different from the picture on their web. Poor quality and ugly. I tried to return. There is no instruction. There is no reply after I emailed the address provided. A scam company.

Sizing is ridiculas and material is shiz, I feel like I been ripped off, save yourself the grief

AVOID!! I ordered what looked like a fabulous linen dress at a very cheap “sale” price. Was impressed by the ethos of the company. All too good to be true? So it would seem. Had a vague confirmation of my order which actually lacked any details of it, and then….nothing. Three weeks passed and no replies to emails then I came here and read other reviews and the scales fell from my eyes! It seems Neweary are indeed not what they make out to be. I could be wrong. The item might just be winging its way from China but from other reviews it seems that orders that do arrive are not as described at all. I believe that their “environmentally friendly, ethically made, responsibly sourced” guff is no more than a scam. I was fortunate in that I had paid by PayPal and as soon as I flagged up the missing order they offered me a refund. Hopefully this will go through and that’ll be an end to it. Lesson learned.
Update 22 May 2024: the item arrived, as suspected, direct from China, with no labelling or documentation, scrumpled into a tiny plastic bag. But, as others have said, it is a pale imitation of the advertised item. Cheap Viscose fabric with a poorly printed design and very cheap finish. Hardly the stylish Japanese-style item modelled on the website.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I ordered 3 tunics/shirts in a linen blend. There were no natural fabrics used--unbreathable synthetic blend. The cuts of the shirts were very different from the photos. Poor quality and poor construction. I have been trying to return the items for 10 days and they keep trying to put me off by offering me a 15% off coupon on another item. The company's return policy: At neweary, returning is as easy as 1-2-3! You have nothing to lose! We will refund you if you are not 100% satisfied. we gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery for the items must be returned unworn, undamaged, unwashed and with all the original labels attached in original packaging.Please note that the shipping fee must be covered by the customer. NOTHING IS EASY ABOUT THIS PROCESS

Poor quality, totally different from pictures shown on the website. The fabric looks like polyester and definitely not cotton as said in the Ads. Pattern on clothes were blurred. Terrible Customer service, have waited more than 3 weeks for a return address, back and forth saying would offer more discount, but the clothes were so rubbish.
