All good but the car in question a , small MG is not the best car going around. Basic, No power and .... small
Should be using hyundai or toyota for compact cars

Bargain Car rentals are a good option in very expensive car hire in tassie... Process. pickup etc all very smooth

Good service, practical choice of car provided: economical, roomy and good to drive. ( once you got used to the acceleration and controls).
Location of pick up and return sites with shuttle bus provide when needed.

The process from booking to pick up and drop off was very smooth. The car was immaculate and was very nice to drive

We have Taken multiple trips in our entire vacation trip . I would like to Inform you that our experience at rentals in Tasmania was terrible . Day 1 we hired , we had a problem in vehicle with squeaky breaks and Vehicle Service Message warning on dashboard. We called your call centre and we were told to pick an another vehicle at Airport location and on account of this we lost our entire day. On day 3, our vehicle did not start and we were quite far from Tasmania . We called your called centre and after an hour later the vehicle started and we returned back to our room cancelling our entire days days plan . Totally we lost 2 days of our vacation after paying huge costs for our air travel and accommodation .We would like the company to look into our grievances and revert back

All good went smoothly

My experience was positive. The person who assisted me was very clear and precise in giving me the information I wanted.

It was pouring rain and lots of people just wanted to get there hire car and get out on the road. We pre paid our rental which made the transaction very smooth. We were on the road within in minutes. The only thing was the fuel tank wasn't full and showed only 3/4 of a tank after diving 20klm down the road.

Easy to book and everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off

The cheaper fuel offered on pick up is not cheaper. I thought I would get a credit if I did not use all the fuel. I did not and this added cost to my trip and was deceitful.

Dealing with Vince from Devonport Bargain Car Rentals is a personal and pleasant experience. He is always very helpful and tries to fit in with your schedule and time frames. This is not the first time I have used this company and the vehicles are perfect for my needs. The only small gripe I had was the interior of the front windscreen was quite dirty and was difficult to clean. Being in Tasmania, night time fogging happens quickly and the inside windsreen condition was a regular pain in the proverbial.

Ease of Booking, collection of Car, return of Car … etc … All was smooth !

very annoying - having to leave the airport to collect the car - directions were very uncertain at the airport - waiting for a couple of loads to be taken over the road - inadequate vans available. Once we got there stand in line for a very long time outside as we couldn't all fit in the office. Once served we are made to pay insurance which we had paid to Webjet while booking the flights. We had to pay this or pay a deposit of $500. all included we would have been much better off booking direct with Avis or one of the main companies.

Car was waiting at pickup at right time.it was clean tidy and full. Very easy to drive once I got into the habit of not trying to change gear. Everything on Tasmania is a long way away so we drove a lot. Good power for all the steep hills around. Drop off went smoothly.
