A fantastic experience with Easy Bathrooms Stafford from start to finish!

Jacob was brilliant throughout and he took the time to understand exactly what we were after and created a high fidelity 3D model which really helped envisage how the finished product would look.
Delivery arrived bang on time and the two delivery gents dropped everything off inside my house. The bath panel arrived slightly damaged but one phone call to the branch and a replacement arrived 2 days later, no quibbles!

The quality of the fittings are great - the tiles, plumbing and furniture all feel solidly made and look great. Communication was top tier as well from everyone at Stafford, with a phone calls and emails to keep me updated throughout.

During the fitting, we ended up slightly short on tiles as I removed the soil stack (I didn't account for that in the design) but a quick phone call to Jacob and the additional tiles were delivered to me within two days which meant the job finished on time.

Many thanks to Jacob and the team at Stafford for their time and friendly advice. I couldn't be happier with my new bathroom. Highly recommended!

Order arrived damaged, needed corner bead to start job, we were on a tight schedule, next weeks delivery was not an option, luckily another branch had one, which I had to spend time to collect, damaged end beads had to be returned, still waiting for the refund. Staff were not very helpful.

Excellent service and aftersales. Very helpful, would use again.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff who had great knowledge

The whole process from start to end was well managed on the whole. We did 3 bathrooms in sequential order. From the time that we placed the order to installation it was a long process 5th May to 15th July, but there was help at the end of the line at each step. The fitter was brilliant. Ivan worked on his own and we had the most horrendous heatwave but he turned up on time 6 days a week and worked long hours. Results were brilliant.
It would have been good to have been told that the installation is contracted out by Easy bathrooms to a sub-contractor and i was caught out that the fitter could not come to sort snags because the sub-contractor had not been paid by Easybathrooms. This also hampered the timely collection of he Hippo bag as there was payment issues.
Post install the live install team (Debbie) is at hand and she is ordering any parts that need replacing under warranty.
Our thanks go out to:
- Trudy in the Weybridge showroom who helped design the bathrooms with her valuable insight knowledge and assisting in meeting our ideas and designs. Also Pete who stepped in while Trudy was on leave and ensure that all payments etc were allocated in a timely fashion.
- Jason in the live install team - he took over from James who left while our installation had just started. Jason became my first port of call to alter delivery dates, missing / incorrect items being sent, additional items being ordered and generally being very patient when I would call up with issues
- Nicolai - from Navada installation team - sub contracted out by Easy bathrooms. He did the survey and advised on change of pump and extra tiles needed. During the work Nicolai did come in time to time to make sure the install was happening smoothly.
Ivan - the fitter from Navada - he was brilliant. He worked diligently and meticulously. During the installations he would seek our advice on positioning items and tile designs and was very neat and tidy. The bathrooms are a testament to his hard work in fitting them and Trudy who had a keen eye for design.
Debbie - Live installs team. Debbie was great at co-ordinating replacement items, speaking to delivery teams and working with Jason on the different stages of the bathroom fittings. I am still in touch with Debbie to order replacement items under warranty.
Things to watch out for:
1) Delivery of items – 1st delivery was on a pallet with items shrink wrapped. Subsequent deliveries this was not the case which meant that items were all over the garage and the fitter had to keep things tidy to ensure that items were accessible.
2) If ordering non standard finishes ensure that all items are delivered accordingly – we opted for Brushed Nickel finishes – while ordering this was in place but when delivered the items were chrome finish which had to be sent back and correct ones redelivered.
3) Shower designs – choose Lanka showers – these are brilliant however the door does not come in contact with the side panel, and this causes a leak of water from the corner. Luckily Ivan has resolved this, but the fault lies in the design as there needs to be some magnetic strip to ensure the door comes in contact with the side panel creating a good seal to prevent water leaking out. I am still awaiting (as at 12th August), Claire the regional manager to come and review these with Nicolai.
4) Start date for the work was a little frustrating. Work was due to start on 4th May, which i kept saying was a bank holiday and asking if the work would start on 4th. The day before Nicolai said the work could not start until 5th a day later. As things turned out this was a small issue but it did leave me with doubts that there is a lack of co-ordination between installations and the sub contractor doing the work.

I'm a bathroom specialist company that does work for easy bathrooms when I get the work if I get the work the way they was talking that I wouldn't be out of work with them and I have only had 1 job in 3 months

Excellent service

Easy Bathrooms Review :

1.Design and in store support - fantastic
2.Survey - Less than satisfactory. Quite a few oversights ( position of exhaust fan, position of heated towel rail, switch position for towel rail).
3.Communication with installation team - Rocky in the beginning then very good thereafter.
4. Timing - We were assured 10 working days. It took >15 working days + 4 weekends with some left over jobs that were competed in bits and pieces over 2 extra working days
5. Dedicated team - It was obvious that the same installation team was simultaneously working on another project - for us that meant repeated chasing up for start time each day and eventual overrun.
5. Product delivery - Multiple wrong deliveries and re-ordering. Extremely confusing. We are still waiting for the shower plate cover to be delivered.

Finished product - Less than satisfactory

Main Issues - We now have a completely functioning bathroom with some major design flaws :
The exhaust fan is a plastic box that sits exactly in the centre of an accent wall
The existing lock for the bathroom was lost during this installation - so now we have a bathroom door that cannot be locked and we are still trying to get someone to advice and install a lock for the bathroom door.
All our hardware is in bronze , including a beautiful bronze radiator that sits on a stone finish wall . The radiator is fixed to the wall with white plastic hubcaps and we were informed there is no bronze alternative
All the colour of scheme of the bathroom is beige and bronze include the shower plate - whereas the fixing material for the shower plate is white silicone which is a stark contrast.
The position of the radiator/ towel rails is such that the door clears it by a few millimetres - so the towels on the rail always get caught/ dislodges on opening or closing the door.
The switch for the heated towel rail is located 5 cm from the floor - which is super inconvenient to say the least. This was never discussed and we picked it up after the installation was completed.

Big highlight :
a.The immense patience and support of the in store team in working with us to work and re work multiple times on finalising the design
b. Sorting out the finance was very smooth.

Conclusion :
I would easily go back to get the design and source the materials, but I would get the installation done by an outside team.

Would I recommend to others or would I use easy bathrooms again :
Absolutely recommend the design team , but would wait to have enough finances/ time to go with individual contractors.

The staff in the St Albans branch were fantastic - especially Anish and Lina. Super helpful and really quick responses. Only reason for not giving a 5 star was quality of the tiles - loved them, but there were quite a few (about a box worth worth) which were more grey then the colour we chose.

Unnecessary delivery charge. Last time we ordered tiles it was £20. Now it was £85 and no chance to avoid it. Ended up being 15% of the total cost.

Tiles were good - better choice than elsewhere but the delivery charge held us to ransom!

Managed to find exactly the tiles we were after in your Durham South branch. Expertly guided through the whole process by Scott, he found the exact tile from our description and double checked our measurements to confirm amount of tiles, adhesive and grout. Arranged shipment to another of your branches so we could arrange collection (as we live in the Isle Of Man)

Easy to talk to member of staff about our requirements.
Very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us choose the right items to use for our bathroom upgrades.
Also helpful in explaining how to install the items and getting the right parts to complement

Good quality products, great sales team, lovely showrooms but unfortunately the deliveries where messed up, got sent the wrong stuff and products where late, finally got sorted but abit of a headache!

Good choice of bathroom designs.Helpful showroom staff .Some issues with quantities and quality that the showroom staff went above and beyond to sort .But some disappointment with quality control at the factory that did get replaced quickly but delayed completion by a week .
