Great experience with maria for our babys 4d scan in birmingham she was fantastic he had his arm over his face and she took her time and didnt rush and tried her best to get him to move so we could get great pictures from going into the scan room to leaving maria was amazing i would 100% recommend not only will you have a great experience but will also get amazing pictures …… elite ultrasound and maria thankyou :)

I attended for an ultrasound scan with Dr Gupta and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed with both the experience and the professionalism shown.

The appointment began with a trainee performing much of the scan before Dr Gupta took over. During the examination, he focused heavily on what he described as a calcification or possible remaining polyp, despite me having already undergone a hysteroscopy and D&C where the polyp had been removed and I had been told my uterine cavity was clear.

During my 12-day lining scan, Dr Gupta measured my endometrial lining at approximately 8.6–9 mm. I left the appointment feeling extremely worried and uncertain about the measurement. I spent the entire night in tears and was unable to sleep, fearing that my fertility treatment could be affected. Because of those concerns, I arranged a second scan at another ultrasound clinic just 12 hours later. There, my endometrial lining was measured at 10.9 mm and no calcification or Polyp was seen!!! This significant difference left me with little confidence in the accuracy of the measurements or the visual I received during my appointment with Dr Gupta.

What I found particularly upsetting was the way the findings were communicated. Dr Gupta came across as taking considerable satisfaction in pointing out what he believed was a remaining polyp or calcification, rather than showing any appreciation for how distressing that information was for someone in the middle of fertility treatment. I left feeling that there was very little empathy or sensitivity towards the emotional impact his comments were having on me. Instead of reassurance or a balanced explanation, I felt my concerns were amplified in a manner that left me anxious and extremely upset.

What upset me most, however, was the manner in which the consultation was conducted. While discussing findings that were understandably causing me significant anxiety ahead of fertility treatment, there was joking and banter throughout the appointment. I found this inappropriate and lacking in empathy. Receiving potentially worrying news is an emotional experience, and I expected a more professional, compassionate approach.

For balance, I would also like to mention my experience with Dr Penman, who performed my hysteroscopy. As a highly experienced consultant, he took the time to show me photographs from inside my uterus and carefully explained the findings. He reassured me that the hysteroscopy is the gold standard for assessing the uterine cavity and confirmed that my polyp had been successfully removed and that my cavity appeared clear. Following my experience with Dr Gupta, I attended a follow-up appointment with Dr Penman to discuss my concerns. He reviewed everything with me again, reassured me that the hysteroscopy findings remained the most reliable assessment of my uterine cavity, and gave me the confidence and peace of mind that I had been left without after the ultrasound appointment

The combination of an assessment that I no longer felt confident in and a consultation that felt dismissive left me with very little confidence in the service I received. Unfortunately, I would not choose to return and cannot recommend my experience.

Absolutely over the moon! They went absolutely above and beyond for us and got the most beautiful pictures and videos of our baby! The receptionist was so lovely and welcoming and the sonographer was amazing too, she done everything to make sure we got the perfect pictures, cannot recommend them enough!

Had a great experience here! I went for a reassurance scan as I was feeling worried and the staff were so friendly and kind; it really put me at ease. The sonographer explained everything she could see on the scan and there was no rush during the appointment. I was given scan photos to take home and I left feeling much less anxious than I was when I went in. Would definitely recommend if you want to check that everything looks okay with your baby between NHS scans.

At Elite Ultrasound EK, the staff truly impressed me! Their kindness and charm made my visit delightful. Having experienced numerous ultrasounds during my fourth pregnancy, I can confidently say this place stands out above the rest. I only wish I had discovered them earlier!

The welcoming receptionist was fantastic and the sonographer was absolutely amazing. We will return. Very professional and calming setting.

Great place. I was worried that the scan wasn't too clear and thought we wouldn't get a great picture. The sonographer was struggling to get a good picture but persisted and stopped for 15 mins to walk around and try and wake the wee one up. Id definitely recommend these guys.

Had a great experience at Elite ultrasound Paisley. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall my 16 week scan was great got to hear babies heartbeat, we done a gender reveal cannon and were pleased to find out we were having a boy. Sonographer provided excellent photos in envelope as well as measurements of baby.

Went for a reassurance scan , staff are so lovely and kind . Would recommend 😊

The ladies at Elite ultrasound EK were amazing! Such lovely people! Really made the experience & I have had a lot of private ultrasounds as it’s baby number 4 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now! Just wish I’d went to them all along!

Highly recommend Elite Ultrasound, the staff are very friendly and during the ultrasound explain everything they are seeing and happy to answer any questions during the appointment. Me and my husband have attended 4 times now over my pregnancy and every time we have had a great experience and service.

I went to elite ultrasound paisley for an early scan, well-being scan & 4D scan I had someone different each time and all where lovely. Explain everything as they are doing it. The ladies at reception are so welcoming and smiley. I highly recommend going here

Lovely relaxing environment with lovely staff. Made me feel so welcome and at ease. Couldn’t see baby on first scan and she rescheduled me for 3 weeks later. Baby appeared on screen then. Will be back x

I really enjoyed the scan we had at the branch in Paisley. We were referred by some friends and when we got there the women were so nice and understanding. We liked the fact that we were able to bring some family members and they were so friendly with all of us. I recommend it, mind you is a bit pricey but they take their time to look at your baby.
and the only thing is that they don't tell you but in Paisley the place is on the ground floor and for us we got lost so would be good to have some signage around to know where the place is. :)

We have been to Elite Ultrasound Paisley twice and been so impressed. The reception staff were very welcoming. The sonographers were lovely and gave us such a thorough scan, reassuring and explaining everything as they went. We got some wonderful pictures which we will treasure. Thank you so much!

Waiting room was clean and bright, easy to book an appointment online.

I seen several different sonographers over several different appointments at various gestations. All were very lovely and kind and they made me feel comfortable. Happy to go back again later on in my pregnancy for a 4D scan to see how baby is doing.
