I arranged for the tiles to be delivered today, and they haven't turned up. I waited all day, and nobody has contacted me. You're blaming the logistics company. Not good enough. It's a Bank Holiday weekend and the tiler is booked for Tuesday. How can I trust that I'll have the tiles in time? I thought that I had ordered from a reputable brand. Zero stars!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Fired Earth.

I was looking for bright white marble tiles and struggling to find ones that actually looked nice. I rang their sales team and Hannah and Wayne helped me find exactly what I needed (East Hampton 30 x 60) and arranged for samples to be sent to me and emailed me photos from the warehouse and answered so many of my questions.

Delivery was great: the courier office rang to let me know a courier was on his way; I asked if he would be able to carry the tiles inside since I have back issues and my husband was on a zoom call, and he said that was absolutely fine and to just let the courier know that he (I can’t remember his name) had said to bring them inside. The courier was lovely and had no issue with this.

When a few of the tiles turned out to be damaged, Erica quickly arranged a collection for two days later and I was refunded promptly.

And then nearly three weeks after the tiles had arrived and I had questions about how to seal them during installation and clean after grouting, Wayne arranged for Erica to call me back for an in-depth tutorial/crash-course. She repeated herself a billion times while I wrote down everything and asked follow-up questions. I was surprised by the level of aftercare and felt like crying, frankly, when she said to send her photos of the floor when it’s done — the tiler fitting the floor has been such a nightmare (hence my having to find out for myself how to seal and clean) that her kindness meant a lot.

All three of them were so kind and so helpful, making a stressful tiling job much easier.

As for the tiles themselves — I ordered samples from Travertine, Sorel, Bert and May, Claybrook, and Mandarin Stone. These ones were hands down the best both in terms of colour and quality (Bert and May stock the same ones but their customer service left a lot to be desired, and Fired Earth matched their price, so it was a no-brained).

Anyway, all of this is to say — I would unreservedly recommend these guys to anyone. I went bananas trying to find the right tiles and I’m so glad I persevered, as these ones are perfect. Thank you, Hannah, Wayne, and Erica! 💗💗 And thank you to the courier service you use, too!

Reliable with fast, efficient delivery. The tiles are at least as beautiful as they look in the catalogue and online. I did have an issue with some broken tiles and Fired Earth responded within the hour and had replacements to us the following day. The service they provide is astounding.

The reminder did help the delivery. Not sure what happened first time.

Obtuse website when it comes to arranging delivery. The customer service number takes you through to a recorded message and I was held on there for 15 minutes, and then 25 minutes the following day.

Avoid. This company have taken money for an order 4 weeks ago for some ceramic tile beading ordered for a log burner. No such order has arrived. They have taken payment and I emailed the customer order team 2 weeks ago to enquire about the order and have had no response. Will never use them again. I got in touch via phone, liaising with Hannah from the customer care team she has been supportive and understanding. I feel they need to discuss with the curriers (DPD) about what went wrong. Very disappointing that I didn’t get the product but hoping to get a refund.

The are problems with the tiles and no one will return my emails regarding the return and replacement of some broken tiles and some others that are the wrong colours.
This was an online purchase made after the company went into receivership and was taken over by Topps Tiles… it has clearly already gone down hill.

I purchased the Geralda Niebla tiles for an internal cubicle lav and separate shower room. The cubicle lav tiling is now complete and the tiles, in my opinion, are just beautiful.

There are a range of options for this tile - metro, dado, border and skirting - and the tile is offered in three colours: white, cream and neutral.

I have a Farrow and Ball paint store near the Fired Earth and both teams were great helping me to choose tiles and paint to make a scheme.

Photos can be added but I wasn’t given the option on the first draft of the review. But just to say thanks to Carol and Jayne for all of their help with this and looking forward to completing the shower room now.

The tiles we ordered are stunning, well priced for the quality of tile and delivery was swift with the tiles securely packaged.

We chose the tiles at Adderbury but the stores were shut before we could order so ordered online after reopening under Topps Tiles. The service in the store was excellent, a great shame they’re not reopening.

Great tiles, sadly slightly wrong items on a few, the company went bust before I could alter it. But.....after a lengthy process they did fulfill the missing items.
