I placed an order on not on the high street with this seller, they confirmed my order I paid for delivery so it was dispatched in enough time and I’ve heard nothing it’s past the dispatch date and the seller is neither replying to myself or the customer service team from not on the high street, how a small business expects to get repeat business when they treat people like this is beyond me! If you can’t fulfill the orders don’t accept them! Don’t have people wasting their hard earned money for gifts for loved ones and then not deliver them leaving them without anytime to order anything else handmade

Bought a lampshade direct from this company to go with the lamp base that I bought from this company on Not on the High Street (I have reviewed this) Tried to ring and contact them several times but phone line was always unavailable and received no helpful replies to emails. All but one were unanswered when I emailed them directly. Very poor communication, would never buy from again.

I am concerned as I have received no communication regarding my £171 refund. Despite sending four emails, submitting a website enquiry, and attempting to contact you by phone, I have not received any response from this company over a five week period.

Waited along time with no response from customer service, finally arrived which was some cheap digital printed shade that had been poorly packed and damaged - the adhesive holding the shade had already pulled away which with heat from the lamp bulb would of only got worse - no response from the Company now had to get my credit card company involved to recover the money - my opinion STAY AWAY

Received my 40cm Tropical Sunshine floor lamp that is actually for a high shelf. Beautifully made ! Thank you. I'm looking around for other lamps in rooms that I can replace with more of these!

Ordered a floor standing lamp, having made an enquiry about the product and received an immediate response.
Chased the delivery with no response. The item has finally arrived and it’s broken and of very poor quality, have contacted the same email that we received the initial immediate response when making a product enquiry and the one we chased for delivery detail with no response.
Shocking customer service and very poor quality.

My shade is beautiful, very well made & worth a long wait. It took about 8 weeks for this to come due to problems with machinery. I did email a fare few times with no reply and was starting to worry but eventually I had a phone call off Gillian assuring me it would be with me with in the week. She also included two beautiful hand made cushion covers as way of apology for the delay in my order. Remembering this a very small operation making unique designed item in very good quality materials. You are receiving quality items that are unique and this takes longer than your mass produced boring items from well known stores. We all need to remember this if we want something truly different.

Ordered over £200 products for gifts nearly 1 month ago. Confirmation email and to date have not received my goods. Have emailed +++, telephone is unavailable. Shop closed. In process of contacting PayPal for some financial recourse.

Ordered some jewellery for my sister's birthday several weeks ago. No order updates. No idea when it will arrive and no reply to several messages/ emails. Just really unprofessional. I would never place an order again!

Order placed 16 October. Emailed to ask for a delivery date no response. No answer on telephone number

How do you contact them?

I returned 2 tall lampshades at the end of May I received an email.stated they had been received the lamps and a refund would be arriving soon I'm still waiting I've phoned the shop and left countless messages and I've sent multiple emails No response at all.I would like my refund It amounts to £300 which is a significant sum Just found the experience very stressful

As a stockist retainer of GA we love her shades and cushions BUT she is appalling at responding to emails or messages and never ever answers her phone and in fact if you call the number it has now been disconnected!!! What on earth is going on?????

My experience with Gillian Arnold & her staff & 10/10 for C.S. was 1st class and I met Gillian the Artist personally in her Darlington store twice she very accommodating & welcoming.

I bought the "Medium Vibrant Leafy Green Botanical Print Interior Lampshade" with the white interior & got a "Long Life Company Edison Classics G95 Teardrop Spiral B22 4W Vintage Globe Light Bulb" & from Art Deco Emporium a "Ivory Bakelite Ceiling Pendant Kit with B22 Antique Brass Lampholder and Green Flex & together everything compliments the Gillian Arnold lampshade especially at nightime when the vintage warm coloured shines through the lampshade print it looks totally amazing 😲

In finishing I totally recommend Gillian Arnold for service & product & whenever I'll require another lampshade I won't hesitate to go to Gillian Arnold's 👍

I placed an order 3 months ago which I paid for and never received. Other than the receipt for payment I’ve had absolutely no communication from the company. I have had no reply to my emails and phone calls. I feel disappointed and let down.

I have purchased two lampshades and four ceiling lightshades over two years most recent less than a year ago which I am totally happy with. Unfortunately I would have liked a couple more but the price has gone up by £35 for a large lightshade which I can't justify paying.

Excellent products and customer service which is second to none. Highly recommended.

Tropical Paradise cosy neck rest cushion
Purchased my second neck cushion which both match the large cushion used on our sofa. All items are extremely good quality and "plump up" very well. Would have no hesitation purchasing again and considering a piece of jewellery. Of course there are so many beautiful items to purchase, really spoiled for choice.
Debbie rang when order was ready (thank you Debbie) and as I live near to Darlington I collected from shop, which is beautiful inside. Thank you Gillian and your Team.

I love my lampshade from Gillian Arnold, it's a quality product and communication regarding the order was great. I would definitely recommend ordering from this company.
