We're pleased to hear you like the flexibility of being able to use Herdwatch on both your phone and laptop. We're sorry to hear, however, that you've experienced issues editing your cattle details and that you didn't receive the troubleshooting email you were expecting.

Herdwatch is an annual subscription service, and renewal invoices are sent in advance of the renewal date before payment is taken. We understand, however, that it's frustrating if you didn't see the renewal notification or weren't expecting the payment.

When customers sign up to Herdwatch, our team provides onboarding support to help them get up and running and ensure they're getting the most value from the app. We're sorry to hear you didn't get the opportunity to make use of the system.

While refunds are handled in line with our subscription terms, we do take feedback like yours on board as we continue to improve both our communication and customer experience.

Herdwatch operates as a subscription service, with renewals processed automatically to help ensure uninterrupted access to the app and your farm records. Renewal invoices are issued one month in advance of payment being taken so you can decide if you want to continue the subscription or cancel.

That said, we completely understand that subscription renewals can sometimes come as a surprise, and we’re always happy to talk through any concerns or questions you may have.
