Hockeys レビュー

Hockeys, Linton were really very good. They found a buyer for my house very quickly, gave me very useful advice and erred pleasant and friendly to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Hockeys Newmarket sold our late mothers bungalow in Newmarket. Matt handled the valuation, photos and marketing. Professional and great communications. Pricing was spot on and achieved lots of viewings and then an offer. His advice and guidance was valuable and can be trusted. Photos, listing and website presented the house well. Even a drone video made.

Unfortunately the buyer withdrew for personal reasons. The house was immediately remarketed and an offer accepted. Dawn handled the sale from offer to completion. Throughout her communication was brilliant, positive and understanding of our circumstances. She handled the buyers and solicitors on all sides to ensure a smooth outcome for all. Whenever we called Dominic and Daisy were great at assisting, if Matt and Dawn weren't available.

Selling a house is never easy. The team at Hockeys did an outstanding job from initial enquiries, marketing, offers and final completion. I would highly recommend them.

It was a long process from May 2025 up until September 3rd 2026, but Ruby and the team persevered after 2 offers falling through nearly at the exchange part! Third time lucky, we got the sale we needed for the chain, in only a matter of 8 weeks from accepting the offer!
Thank you Ruby, you're a star x

I worked with Hockeys in Cambridge to sell our 4-bed house which is located in CB1. We initially worked with 2 other agents who were unable to sell our property after 1.5 years so we asked Hockeys to help. Philip was so helpful with finding the right strategy to get buyers through the door, and Liam was our main agent who was highly communicative and reassuring to work with. As it was stressful sale, due to the difficult market and personal challenges, Liam was extremely understanding, helpful and was able to get us through and over the line. The property was sold above asking price, and I can't stress enough how happy I am that we chose to work with Hockeys. Thank you so much.

We had a very disappointing experience with Hockeys Cambridge when buying a property.

After our offer was accepted, we discovered that the freehold boundary and ownership position had been changed, and that the seller had transferred part of the land to the neighbouring property.

We had not received any formal notification or documentation from Hockeys informing us that the freehold boundary or ownership would be changed. The official Offer Acceptance and Sales Memorandum provided by Hockeys also contained no reference to this.

We contacted the estate agent several times because we had questions and wanted to understand what was happening. However, we waited for over a month without receiving clear answers. It was only later, after repeatedly asking for clarification, that we became aware of the actual ownership transfer.

As buyers, we found this extremely disappointing and concerning. We were proceeding with a property purchase and had already incurred survey and legal costs, yet we did not receive the clear information we needed regarding a material change to the property’s freehold boundary and ownership.

We have now formally withdrawn from the purchase and submitted a formal complaint to Hockeys regarding how this matter was handled.

The experience has caused us to completely lose confidence in both the transaction and Hockeys Cambridge.

We are sharing our experience to help other buyers. If you are purchasing a property through Hockeys Cambridge, we would strongly recommend making sure that any questions concerning the property’s boundary or ownership are clearly answered and formally documented before proceeding.

Very professional service. Would highly recommend hockeys to anyone who requires an estate agents.

We had a really excellent service from Hockeys with very personable care from Harriet and Ben. We benefitted from their good relationships with their client base resulting in an offer on our house before it even went to market! The process from there was very smooth, with good communication at each key point and had our entire move completed within 2 months. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely first-class service from Ben from start to finish. He handled the recent sale of my late father-in-law’s bungalow with professionalism, sensitivity and excellent communication throughout. He kept us fully informed at every stage, was always approachable and made the whole process as straightforward and stress-free as possible. We genuinely couldn’t fault a single aspect of the service and would have no hesitation in recommending Ben and Hockeys to anyone looking to sell their property.

We had a really positive experience with Hockleys of Cambridge when purchasing our property. Bradley was excellent throughout the whole process. He was always helpful, friendly and professional, and communication was very good from start to finish.

Whenever we had questions or needed an update, Bradley was responsive and did his best to keep everything moving smoothly. Buying a property can be stressful, but his support made the process much easier for us.

We’re very happy with the service we received and would definitely recommend Bradley and the Hockleys team. Thank you for all your help!

I would recommend Hockeys Cambridge 100%. My father passed away whilst his house was on the market with them and the whole team did everything they could to make this process as easy as possible. They were understanding, professional and the communication was excellent. Joao in particular went above and beyond to help and liaise with the buyers to ensure they were happy to wait until probate was granted. Thank you so much!

We were shown a house by Joao on Saturday and we all were very impressed with his knowledge of the property and the way in which he allowed us to look at the house but stayed on hand to answer our questions. We have seen many houses and Joao was by far the best agent who showed us a property. It made a big difference to our viewing experience but many estate agents don’t seem to put any value on the person who shows the property. Not Hockeys. Joao’s approach was informative and put us at ease whilst being professional at all times. Thank you Joao! Hockeys are lucky to have you. A fantastic asset!

We worked with Bradley to purchase our first house, a renovated mid-terrace in Cambridge. Bradley has provided an excellent service, being responsive and thorough during the whole process, checking in with us and helping us understand the process as first time buyers. We’ve completed after about four months and we’d definitely recommend his services and expertise for buying in Cambridge.

I had a great experience with Hockeys during what was a very long and sometimes challenging property chain. Throughout the process, Ellis was incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive.

Ellis kept me updated, responded promptly to any questions, and helped keep everything moving forward despite the complexities involved. His communication and dedication made a stressful process much easier to manage.

Thank you, Ellis, and the team at Hockeys for all your hard work. I would happily recommend Hockeys to anyone looking for a reliable and professional estate agent.

The estate agent was professional and helpful throughout the purchase process. Communication was generally good and they were responsive when we had questions. Overall, our experience was positive and we appreciated their assistance in helping us complete the transaction.

Excellent service in selling my property in central Cambridge in early 2026. As I live far away, they provided extra services (e.g. attending flat for various reasons) with willingness and efficiency. They kept me informed of all the vagaries of the process and offered good advice.

After contacting many agents unsuccessfully, I called Hockeys and Joao could not have been more helpful or kind. He helped immediately with the document I needed and ensured my request was jandled through to completion. Im extremely grateful for his brilliant and professional service. Thank you, Hockeys!

Excellent caring company who looked after the sale of our late fathers property in Littleport. Although a difficult property to sell Hockey's staff worked extremely hard to make it happen. We were kept informed throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending Hockey's! Thank you!

Hockeys, Linton made our moving experience seamless! The sale from beginning to end was great and without hiccups! John and the team were a breath of fresh air - I would thoroughly recommend them.

Hockey’s in Willingham were very helpful and professional.
A big thank you to Ben.
This is the second time I’ve used Hockey’s and would definitely use them again.

Always available when we needed information. They chased up the sellers when we requested that all the old rubbish was cleared out before moving in (a skipful)
