I’m really happy with the service. I had to move out of my house within three days because the buyer couldn’t extend his mortgage, so I suddenly needed somewhere to store all my belongings.

I was looking for a flat or a house, but I was told it could take around three weeks to find somewhere suitable. Then someone told me about this self-storage facility. Within just one hour, I had a large container ready for my stuff, and the price was really cheap.

The container is big, clean and secure, and the location is very convenient. I can access my storage 24/7, so I can put things in or take things out whenever I need to.

The whole experience has been fantastic, and I’m really happy I found this place. Highly recommended!

First time using a storage unit . The staff have been extremely helpful especially Sarah . Very impressed with the place and would certainly recommend it to my family .

Good service, received details of entry codes on the morning of my move as previously arranged. Container was clean with easy access to unload into.

Very straight forward and very friendly and intuitive staff

It’s been so easy to arrange and set up - whenever you ring up the people are so friendly and helpful it’s been a pleasure dealing with them giving us really helpful advice as we aren’t able to picture the size of space we need - place feels very secure and easy to find - the locks are a bit tricky but u just have to patiently work out the door closing and then u will get it .

set up and all was plain sailing, due to being stuck in traffic we didn’t get to site until 1730, had been advised that their would be someone there until 1800 but they were not there, had many issues getting in as the email did not contain my access code and no instructions as to what it would be, lucky someone else was coming out as we were trying to go in, then we couldn’t get into the unit as shutters were down and my brother asked someone for help, a kind gentleman let us in via his code and then advised to try my phone digits as the code once we found our unit. also in the email advised could get padlocks from storage unit as they had them for sale, which meant we didn’t bring any due to this which meant all shops were closed by time we were able to do anything, and we were leaving the next day for London, so i had to cable tie my units together until i was home on the Monday to sort out the padlock situation.

I had booked a 100 sq ft unit and when got the email gave me two unit numbers, which i was going to check when got there, but again due to someone closing earlier than advertised or advised i couldn’t it would have been nice to have been told i was given to units and not one unit, cause again i would have had same issue as i would have only brought one padlock for the unit and would have needed to,so would have been nice to have communication in relation to everything, when i spoke to someone on the phone to confirm i would be there nothing was mentioned about the units being 2 units not one, while i know they make up what i needed, this should have been communicated with me in relation to this! as an extra expense and more of an issue in putting everything into unit.

units themselves are clean and good being inside, the access to the unit is ideal for us in what we need and the easy access 24/7 is perfect for us getting access

The services from first contact at reception who showed us how the service works and a tour of the units through to a call the day before to advise that we could defer if we weren't ready in our case we were ready to go. We are now in the middle of storing our belonging that we will not be able to get on the removel van on the day we move as you only get one run at it so, having the unit helps to take the pressure off us and we can just move the contents of the unit over the duration of time left running on it. Atm there has been no issues with the service .very friendly staff🙂👍

This review is slightly preemptive but SCA deserves this feedback now.
I have been interacting with SCA as am moving from Europe back to UK and needed a flexible and reliable storage facility in the area I am moving to. We have been in communication for a few months and the service received has been exemplary, professional but also flexible to my needs. Detailed discussion by phone on services provided, comprehensive quote of what was available, prices are fantastic and due to nature of storage site, can come and go as I please 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Even when I forgot to inform SCA that my move date had changed and they allocated me a unit based on my original dates given, I contacted Kelly at the Sunderland Office, explained that I would be arriving a month later and without hesitation she cancelled the allocation refunded the amount that had already been deducted from my account and quite simply said, get in touch when you know the definite date and we will give you another unit.
No fuss, total understanding, no reading from tick sheets, wonderful personal touch, flexible and friendly staff in all locations I have contacted, all are a credit to this company.
So glad I decided to use SCA

Went above and beyond to get us extra storage on the level, even cleared out a unit they were using. Always polite and courteous on the phone. Can't recommend highly enough.
