Charters in Fareham took over our tenancy from the previous letting agent due to a merger.
The service we have received from
our property manager Sam has been swift and efficient. We haven’t had much need to contact him but when we have emails have been replied to promptly and issues fixed quickly.

Really happy with the service and support from Kirstie in the Farnham office. We had been looking for a property for some time and she was really proactive in helping us find a property that ticked the boxes.

Today I tried to view two properties with charters southampton, i am off for two days and could do anytime. Unfortunately Charters could not fit me in anytime this week or over the weekend. I have booked viewings with other agents and am seeing some flats on the same day.
I would have to say Charters seems very under staffed and unprofessional, if you are looking to sell a property no point in going to Charters as they have no staff to show the properties.

From initial contact to going live the experience was excellent. Team communicate very well and they are very organised. The Photos were done by excellent photographer, the brochure was well thought out and beautifully written.

Having seen a property that Charters in Hove is selling I have tried to have a viewing and to make an offer. Their communication has been disappointing compared to other agents

A great start to our journey with Charters.

Given that there have been a lot of changes afoot in the agency that is now Charters (I think back the days of Brand Vaughan and what came after) it was good to have Claire in her new role (I remember her well from her role in accounts) especially as there have been also changes in the relationship between landlord and tenant that we are all still getting used to.
After an initial disappointment with a potential tenant not having the required references, I was pleasantly surprised when Claire came up with a new tenant almost immediately.
Without tempting fate, i am hoping that I won't be having a lot of communication in the immediate future, that is, until the next time a future tenant is required!

Stacey was excellent and despite a challenging market he and the team at fareham sold my house and managed the process well keeping me informed at every stage.

Sue at the worthing branch is fantastic! As a first time landlord it can be a bit overwhelming, however her assistance and guidance when dealing with maintenance issues is above and beyond!

Had such a lovely experience with Darcey in the Hove office, new to Vieiwng houses and how it works and instead of brushing me off, she explained everything and even added information I wasn’t aware off! A very kind lady and highly recommended if you’re a bit unsure as she doesn’t make asking questions feel silly!

Georgia in Worthing is out property manager and she’s very responsive! I always know I can go into the office and talk to her and she’ll make time for us!

Finding a rental has been really stressful and competitive and so to find a few properties with the same agent helped us to build a little rapport. To have good communication helps the process and it was nice that the agent (Samuel) knew how much it meant to us to be successful with a property! The viewing was a positive experience with his colleague Sam who was very knowledgeable, encouraging, and respectful.

I had several viewings with Michael from Charters this week as we are moving down from up north for work at the end of the month. He's been nothing short of excellent. He took the time to know our needs and showed us properties that fit our brief really well.

On viewings he was very well informed about all the properties and the surrounding areas which was brilliant when I had questions about CTax, transport links etc., whilst at no point coming across as pushy - you could tell he was about finding the right home for the right person/family which I really appreciated.

Lastly, on a couple of occasions elsewhere we've had last minute cancellations due to agents not getting admin sorted, which when you've driven 6 hours in a heatwave to be there, it does put you off relying on an agency for your business. Michael has been the antithesis of this; every email and call has promptly been replied to and when viewings were cancelled due to factors out of his control, somehow he managed to get them back on track!
As a result we've been very impressed by our experience with Charters and would happily recommend them as a result. Thank you Michael!
