To cut to the chase I would absolutely recommend going somewhere else for an automotive key replacement. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again.

I contacted KeyMe through their kiosk at Smith’s because I was having issues with the key fob for my 2011 VW Jetta. The buttons weren’t working and the car was having trouble detecting the key, so I assumed the key itself was the problem.

A locksmith was sent out and quoted me $420 for an aftermarket replacement key. He made and programmed the new key, but afterward determined that there was also an issue with the car itself. I ended up paying $400, and the new key did not resolve the problem I originally called about.

My biggest issue is that I wish the possibility of a vehicle-side problem had been diagnosed or clearly explained before making a $420 replacement key. Had I known beforehand that a new key might not solve the issue, I would not have agreed to spend that much without having the car checked first.

I contacted the locksmith and KeyMe afterward to try to resolve the situation. After quite a bit of back and forth, I ultimately accepted an $80 refund and signed a release to settle the matter.

I appreciate that I received something back, but I’m still extremely disappointed with the overall experience. I ended up paying $320 for an aftermarket key while still having the exact issue that led me to contact them in the first place. I strongly recommend getting quotes from other local locksmiths and having the actual problem properly diagnosed before using this service.

Had them come out to make duplicate keys for 2 cars. The new keys work but the original keys were deactivated. I called customer service and called again after they hung up on me. And was told that old keys are deactivated when they make a new key. Spoke to a manager, Auturo, he said someone would get back to me in 2 days. I paid almost $500 and still only have one set of keys.

I call this place give them the address of my location and they at some point give the wrong address to the person who they send to Open my Truck,Making it to a 1hr be a 4hr of waiting Time.

Quick effective service desoite difficulty finding me in remote area

Customer Service from 1st phone call to after service was completed was excellent. Communication with texts on updates of technicians arrival, on point! The technician even called and gave me an estimated time. Quick and easy. Reasonably priced fit for late at night. Will use again if ever needed.

The job was assigned 2x with jobs being declined. I was charged full price even though I called the company to cancel since they could not find someone after 2 hours.

Nothing wrong with the tech but these call center crooks take 90% of the fee. Absolute thieves

Customer service was good, regarding service with the locksmith seems he lacks customer service skills.

Showed up quick. On a Sunday too.
Got me a couple keys done in a timely manner.
It was exactly what I needed when I needed it. And that’s spot on service

The service guy showed up a lot sooner than expected because he was around the corner from me. He was very sweet and polite and got the job done fairly quickly. I don't remember his name but I highly recommend him! The price was on the higher side but I didn't mind paying it because I was so desperate to get home, LOL!

Blake was excellent responding quickly arriving when he said. He is exceptionally professional, very knowledgeable. Did a great job. I am going to recommend everybody. I know to him. He was a pleasure to deal with and a very nice young man. I couldn’t recommend this young gentleman with any higher praise. he is the best.

Terrible service! USE REAL LOCAL LOCKSMITHS! Not this Uber rent a side hustle locksmith.

A guy shows.up.without the correct equipment barely speaking English and states he cant do the job. Yet he marks.it complete and they charged me anyway. After multiple calls I was able to get a refund initiated.

Meanwhile a local REAL locksmith helped.and was LESS epensive!

Jason was very professional. He finished the job while I enjoyed my coffee and did it in 15 mins!

Darren, the tech who performed the work was professional and clearly explained the processes he would use and all prices that would be charged, based on my choices.

Darren also followed up as promised. He is a complete professional.

The value received for the clearly defined pricing, including sales taxes, was excellent.
