Excellent Service - again!
This was a deliberate return to a shop where I had previously had good advice and thoughtful customer service. I returned for an exact replacement of the excellent pair of walking boots I was recommended on my first visit - again I received friendly, helpful and knowledgeable advice from Gina who also gave me the space and time to try them on properly and make sure I was happy. Penzance Millets
I went in to Millets on Saturday 29/11/25. I couldn’t find what I wanted and the man on the till helped me find it . He was very helpful . I think he is quite new there . All of the staff in the Penzance branch are helpful and it’s good to see they are training new staff to be just as helpful . It’s nice to go into a store where customer service is so good .

This is our best local shop for outdoor clothing and boots, we have bought quality clothes from Peter Storm and Merrell boots here.

While on holiday in Penzance, we bought a pair of walking boots from Millets on the High Street. Gina served us, and she couldn’t have been more helpful while I decided on the right size.

Well Douglas in the shop was really very good
When I got home I received an email to say order number 360675325 had been cancelled even though when I just went on line again it still said that there was one in stock! Also I now have to go back into town (I’m in my seventies) to get a refund for it! Why did they allow the order to go through in the first place

Did not have what I wanted in stock , but the in store staff were very helpful ordering the item online for me which also cancelled postage costs.

I was looking for hiking shoes so…
I was looking for hiking shoes so popped into Millets Penzance, great range so William was very helpful to get me a pair in my size, I was able to try them on in the store which is important to gauge the overall comfort and quality. Very happy with my choice and at a good price too, excellent.

Called in advance re availability of item. William very polite, efficient and helpful. My experience buying hiking boots in store was excellent. William helped me select the best boots for my needs with no pressure to purchase more expensive items. Last bought boots in PZ Millets 8 years ago. Such excellent service.
