I recently purchased the WiiM Amp Ultra and KEF Q1 Meta speakers from Peter Tyson. There was a bundle deal offering a good discount — easily the best offer I had seen online or in-store for this setup. They were also offering a trade-in for the Klipsch speakers I was replacing, and the trade-in value was very good, so I decided to go for it.

What can I say other than Peter Tyson just gets customer service right!

From my initial email right through to delivery, their communication was exceptional. They kept me informed every step of the way.

In fact, the day after I placed my order, they spotted an error on their website. The speakers had been advertised as being available for delivery in early August, when the actual lead time was October. As soon as they realised the mistake, they contacted me, apologised, and offered me a free upgrade to the more powerful and more expensive KEF Q3 Meta speakers. Which I happily accepted of course

I was genuinely blown away.

I worked in electronics retail for eight years in my teens and early twenties, and I can honestly say that this level of customer service is something you rarely come across.

My order arrived within five working days, and I couldn't be happier with both the products and the service.

This was my first time buying from Peter Tyson, but I can pretty much guarantee it won't be my last. From now on, they will be my first choice for all my hi-fi purchases.

Yes, there are plenty of other retailers, and you might even save a few pounds elsewhere in some instances. But for me, great customer service, communication and actually caring about the customer are worth far more than saving a few quid.

I haven't come across a business like this in a long time. It's genuinely refreshing to see a company that takes pride in what it does and puts the customer first.

Ordered an appliance from Peter Tyson due to their competitive prices and also being a local business. Had some issues where I was let down by the courier. Emailed the service department and within a couple of hours I received a phone call and was compensated and had the issues resolved. I spoke to two different gentleman on my issues and both were fantastic. Great to see customer service like this still exists. I’ll definitely be back.

Spoke to someone on chat about the options available as there was a few discounted items and they responded quickly, explained it clearly and I ordered straight away. Order was with me in a few days and very happy, exactly as described, slightly scruffy box as it was new but returned but I don't use the box :)

I ordered and paid for, a mint used Fiio DAP, for a very good price. However, a Peter Tyson sales person 'phoned a couple of days later to tell me it was no longer available, due to an administrative mix-up, but they would supply me with a new unit at the same price...
This is only one of the reasons why they're the first company I'd contact whenever I decide to purchase hifi of any sort.
They're a five star class act, and always respect the customer. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly.

Super efficient and quick delivery

I've purchased several items from Peter Tyson online and I've visited the store and in each instance I really can't fault the service. Dispatch is always fast and to date, anything I've ordered has arrived the next day. The description on the used, nearly new and refurbished items has been very accurate. I get the feeling that Peter Tyson really understands the 'sensibilities' of their customer. You can't rely on reviews/marketing or salespeople to describe how you will hear the sound from a pair of speakers; you need to hear them for yourself. My visit to PT was off chance, and my budget was relatively mediocre but despite this, nothing was too much trouble, and the exercise really gave me the direction I needed to make the right choice. In the end, it lead me to pick up a pair of refurbished speakers that I'd never have considered, prior to visiting PT. Listening to several pairs of speakers realy opened my ears to the type of sound I wanted to hear!
