34SP is a great hosting company

34SP is a great hosting company. I must admit they are not perfect and in the past, they have had problems with their email service. No hosts are perfect! But 34SP are getting up there with perfect.

Their level of knowledge and care superb. They are quick to respond and are proactive in sorting any technical issues that they feel they can fix for you. They can consult on tech issues also.

Their professional hosting is good too. I have created and used WP websites, HTML websites, Divi websites and these have performed well on their servers.

34SP goes the extra mile. They are professional and steady. And steady is what you need for a reliable business website. 34SP are by the far - one of the better-understated hosts in the UK. I would highly recommend their pro hosting. I have been a member since 2007!

We use 34SP.com for our company web…

We use 34SP.com for our company web hosting and email service, they provide a simple to use system that works well for us.
We had an issue from our side and had to contact their customer support team. Their response was quick and really helpful and got us back up and running straight away. Very happy with the service

Superb support for a charity

We are a charity and they support us with their free hosting for charities scheme. Having previously worked with a number of hosting providers in my professional life, the level of customer service is unparalleled.
The ticketing system is intuitive and robust, and though we had a couple of administrative hiccups (on our side) they continued to help us and resolved our query within the day. Excellent customer service with a personal touch. Highly recommended.

Can't recommend them enough.

I have been with 34sp for years with a little break when I went to another company. I couldn't wait to get back to 34sp. Their service is unrivalled. Always helpful, speedy responses to queries, friendly and there is no technical query that they can't handle. And price wise - excellent value for money. I don't believe you can find better than 34sp.

Site and support are absolutely superb!

I have found 34sp to be such an incredible host to use for my websites.
They are easy to use and based in the UK which is excellent for speed.
But by far the best thing about them is the support. Every time I have had a 'non-tech' moment I have submitted a ticket and they have been very quick to respond and provide assistance. And every time they have sorted out my issues with professionalism.
Very much recommend this company for hosting websites.

Highly recommended

34SP provide an excellent service - they have helped us to get our new website up and running with free SSL! Many UK hosting agents charge for SSL as if it were an optional extra, but it's essential. We found their UK-based tech support to be great, with really good response times. Highly recommended.

Great service and helpful team

I've been using 34SP for a number of years; they've always been fantastic and are an integral part of my web design process.

The support team are great; offering advice and helping to quickly resolve issues either on phone or by email.

Would definitely recommend and a special thank you to Alex, Kayleigh and Liam for helping with recent issues!

34sp give charities a wonderful service

34sp have hosted our website for free for some years. HNChelp is a registered charity so this is very helpful. Covid-19 is affecting our ability to raise funds through public events so this year their assistance is even more appreciated.

A few months ago an update to a Wordpress plug-in caused serious problems. Within a few hours of contacting 34sp support the problem was resolved. Their customer support has never let us down.

We have no reservations in recommending 34sp for their web-hosting service.

Trying to use Plesk and couldn't for…

Trying to use Plesk and couldn't for the life of me find it in my admin area of 34SP. They very kindly pointed me in the right direction. Completely forgot where it was in the menu structure. As usual very quick at resolving any issues I have. Always had good support from 34SP.

The best out there - great service!

We have been using 34SP for a number of years, not only to purchase domains but also hosting these too, the service we have had is second to non, they are quick, efficient and keeps things simple.

We have been that impressed that over the past year we have pulled all our websites and domains over to 34SP and combined everything to them to make things easier to manage.

There have been a couple of times over the past 5 years where the hosting has failed or gone down, but the downtime has been minimal and the communication about the issue has been timely and efficient.

We cant recommend them enough, we have been with a number of other suppliers offering the same but non have come close to the service provided by 34SP.

UK Wordpress hosting at it's best

I have found the whole experience of using 34SP's Wordpress hosting absolutely first class! It's great to deal with a hosting company who have a team of Wordpress experts on hand to help you with any issues you may come across, I've never had this before with any hosting company. Give these guys a go for all your Wordpress hosting requirements, you will not regret it.

Unreliable.

Had all of my sites offline for a whole business day and outages are becoming monthly. Quickly exploring a new service provider. Used to be great but now having loads of issues.

If you're having repeat issues please do reach out to me (Stuart) via support@34sp.com - certainly our managed service's uptime are all over SLAs of late, we don't have any repeating issues. If you're seeing repeating issues it sounds like there's something affecting your account and we'd be happy to look at that for you.

Today we do indeed have a major networking event that we're actively working on as I write, this is completely unique and one off event that we have not seen before.

Been with 34sp for over 10 years

Been with 34sp for over 10 years, this past year has been filled with issues, our logs showing less than 90% uptime on our site, dozens of times in the past 6 months our website is down, in fact whilst I type it's been out for the past 4-5 hours and I've had email campaigns to thousands of customers all who clearly can't get through the link. Reported many times, gets fixed and fails again and again. To make matters worse the page actually says "This is not a server error, but an intentional closure." It also says "This page should not appear without due reason and you will have been notified by email regarding any important changes to your account" Lastly the down page says they cannot disclose "nature of the problem affecting this site." All of which effects our brand. Not been offered a penny of compensation for the impact on our business. Will be moving host imminently.

It’s Live-N-Learn and it has an active ticket raised. Also this is exactly the page it shows, I’ve copied and pasted the link. It’s 7 hours so far today and I have evidence of the downtime logged. I can’t share The domain / web link of our account as trust pilot do not allow this. All of my statement is accurate and your response does seem dismissive and questions our integrity. This is exactly our direct experience.

Hi Peter. First of all, sorry to hear about the issues you've had. I'm unable to identify your account from the details you've left here so please do reach out to me (Stuart), more on that in a minute. Addressing the items in turn:

We don't have any generalized faults that match what you're experiencing. Our managed services routinely exceed 99.9% uptime, and we aim for 99.5% on shared and routinely beat that too. Obviously your personal experience doesn't match that so I'd be very keen to look into this for you.

The page you mention is the page we usually display for a billing error, but again that does not seem quite correct here.

I (Stuart) review all of our cases when client feels we've not met our support promise, but I can't see one from yourself. Again though I can't identify your account or tickets from the details here. I'd love to review this and makes things right for you. As you note, you've been a client of 10 years, our business is built on solid, transparent relationships of many years (we turn 20 this year).

Please contact our support team and mark your email FAO Stuart and this item here. I'll immediately review and escalate this for you.

Edit following clients reply: my apologies if I didn't clearly and concisely reply. It's certainly not my intent to dismiss the issue. There is obviously an issue affecting your domain name, but it's one that is inconsistent with our overall service and uptime. For example, it could be a security system kicking in and preventing IP access to certain IPs falsely flagged as an attack, it could be DDoS protection kicking in or a DNS error. This despite the fact the server is update. My point is there is certainly a disconnect between your experience and ours. I would dearly love to get to the bottom of it.

I think our extensive record here on Trustpilot speaks to our efforts to get to the bottom of issues, and I want to do that for you. I sadly can't help here though, I need you to raise a ticket FAO myself so I can look. Again, I would love to solve this issue for you.

I forget now how long I've been hosting with 34sp

I forget now how long I've been hosting my websites with 34sp, it's definitely over 10 years which is a good enough endorsement in itself of how good they are. Don't get me wrong, I've had issues with their service in the past and thought about leaving but in hindsight they were storms in a teacup and I'm glad I procrastinated with my decisions. 34SP has grown as a hosting company as I have grown as a web developer, their customer support is second to none, and their hosting packages offer value for money without compromise to the level of service they provide.

im hosting 5 websites on 34sp.com

im hosting 5 websites on 34sp.com for years and still tell this day you can see my old review bellow in 24 Apr 2018 and i really felt the need that they deserve another review to show my appreciation and that i'm still with them and how great they are too!

Support is always Helpful and all time there for you no matter what happen or which questions you have they solved them all
servers are fast and secure ,and there caching system is a gold nugget in this industry

34sp is more of a family Not just a Great Hosting Company ♥

34sp.com NOT TO BE TRUSTED

I was a customer of 34sp.com for many years however 6 months ago I contacted them to arrange to cancel their hosting of my domain name and to assist in migrating my domain name to Go Daddy. They agreed to help with my request and assisted my web designer Phil Bonney from start to finish to complete the transition and my domain is live with Go Daddy. The following month I noticed that 34sp.com had taken hosting funds from my account! I contacted 34sp and I was assured that my money would be refunded and no further requests would be made. 6 months on and they are still taking money from my account and I've email them every time to point out that they are stealing funds from my account but still they continue. Do not trust this company they have no respect for your custom should you cancel your agreement.

Hi Richard. Sorry to hear about the issues you've been having. I've looked at your account and can see the tickets you've mentioned. All we need is your authentication to close the account for you, and of course a refund is fine. Until we receive an auth we can't suspend the service for security reasons.

Alternately you can also login 24/7 and close the account too, this should have been detailed on the support tickets. I'll reach out again in the next 24 hours with details on the authentication process (just 10 seconds really) and closure process. We can of course issue a refund at that time.

I recently used 34SP at the request of…

I recently used 34SP at the request of a client for whom I was developing a new website. I had never come across them before but was so impressed that I decided to use them myself.

I am just in the process of moving all my clients websites over to 34SP, who have been brilliant in accommodating me and the websites I manage.

Not only is the customer service and support spot on, but the performance of the servers is excellent for the price.

Whenever I deal with one of the support team at 34SP they are prompt, helpful and friendly. Most of all, they are knowledgeable. They are available on weekends and are UK based.

I highly recommend 34SP for anyone looking for hosting, email services and so on, particularly if you want to host WordPress sites.
