I've really enjoyed my time with Yasmin over the past few months as a candidate. It's been quite refreshing to work with a recruiter who is genuinely passionate about the creative industry, her clients and her candidates. 1. Chess treats as a partner, not a product - gave lots of helpful framing and context which helped me pitch myself at the right level and cover main area's of interest. She reviewed my pitch deck and gave good feedback around my pitch.
2. Direct, to the point, no nonsense approach - Didn't sugar coat things or over promise, and set expectations clearly. This is very helpful to as a candidate in knowing exactly where I stood throughout the process and which area's to focus on.
3. Contactable, informative and supportive throughout the process - Chess called me after each step to debrief and talk about next steps and stayed in contact during the waiting phases. This was very reassuring and helped me put my best foot forward throughout the process.
