I paid for a 1 month subscription to this service about 30 minutes ago and immediately I no longer had access to the account I had opened and the website actually went dark on me. I had no access to anything including my account settings and my profile settings etc. A complete block out. I did however receive an e-mail telling me that they would take a further R 999.00 from my account at the end of the 1 month period. I sent through a cancellation of my subscription e-mail to there customer supports as that was the only way I could send a message to them. I warn anyone who is thinking of using this service or subscribing, please do not do that, you will lose your money and also set yourself up for losing further money later on.

All women sound the same. There is a distinct bot-vibe in everything they say. People can't be that similar! I won't rave about my successes on AFFseek.com
But I will just say that if you use a dating site that is legit and if you are a sensible person with realistic expectations, things will work well for you there. 40sMeet has never been a legit site.Trust me it's not good for your wallet and mental health. The ones who run this platform are scammers who are industrious and quite ingenious in their methods for preying on your money.

Signed up and can never log on I got matches before even adding a picture! I asked to cancel for a refund they responded after a week saying I signed up and accepted the T&C’s and I cannot get a refund.
Paid for nothing never even got onto the site!

NEGATIVE 💯 for a review!

This company has a history of deceptive business practices, including a convoluted cancellation process designed to keep customers locked in and prevent timely refunds. They also engage in threatening behavior, implying legal action against customers who attempt to cancel their accounts. Even when customers beg to cancel, their Support Team fails to assist, ignoring complaints and continuing to demand payment from inactive customers, even after 2 years of inactivity, despite having records of the customer's last login date.

Even until now they still disturbing my peace that affect my mental health!
After almost 2 YEARS of asking them to CANCEL IT. NO ACTION instead thretening me for Legal Action!

It's a relatively new site that uses old scam patterns, vigorously trying to get as much money from you as possible by implementing habitual scammy methods: using fake profiles as baits and switch (trust me, you can still find better options like AFPassion.com
with zero tolerance to fake profiles); billing you for annual membership right away, (they try to keep it swift, quiet and unnoticed); incorporating extremely complex multiple-steps cancellation procedure (one of these steps includes sending a fax or an official written letter to their office in Austria). So as you can see their approach to users is quite truculant, outrageous and relentless.

I thought I had had finally met my king, to my heartbreak it was a scam. I still cant believe that guy nearly scammed me of my money. I tried cancelling membership and sent few cancelation messages, only when i mentioned the guys on the app are scams only then my membership was cancelled. I cannot say don't join, Maybe our luck might be different but just be cautious.

Impossible to cancel subscription and I had to cancel my credit card to stop ongoing charges.
$200 per month, didn’t sign up for that price. Not even the best dating sites charge that amount,

The only thing this despicable company knows how to do is scam your credit card.
If I could give a 0 star rating, I would.
I joined a week ago, and they were very quick to deduct almost $200 upfront for a 3 Month subscription.
When I setup my profile this site seemed ok, as there were lots of questions asked.
BUT after the initial influx of messages, I realised that none of my responses were being read and there were no replies back from anyone.
That's when I became suspicious and realised that this whole setup is a scam,.operated by a FRAUDULENT company which has ripped off others, by taking money upfront, and then using FAKE PROFILES or ANIMATORS to interact with you.

IT'S ALL FAKE!

My 4 emails to their support team raised further suspicions, when they were not answered.

This company has also done this with other dating sites in NZ and the UK, as there are warnings about these scams here.

I cancelled my credit card and reported the case to Visa, as this was the only way to stop the repeat subscription charges. And any future scam charges.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE FRAUDS!

This is a scam website and relatively new in Australia. You can find reviews on Trust Pilot about its sister site in the UK, but there is currently very little information about the Aussie site. At first glance it seems like a great dating site, but a deeper look into the terms and conditions reveals otherwise. It is a fake chat scam, which populates its website with false profiles. Though it is free to create an account, registered users who want to chat, must make an additional purchase of a subscription. The company is based in Austria and once you have purchased a subscription it is impossible to communicate withthem or to get your money back. Avoid it!
