Disappointing quality control

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with 5mc2.

I ordered a mystery Easter egg, and the jacket I got wasn’t really my taste.
I love the design of their other stuff, but hey... I can’t be mad about what I got.

However, I am disappointed in the quality of the jacket. It has a bunch of loose threads, and the print is such low resolution that it looks pixelated from about 2 meters away.

I would only expect this level of quality if it was from Temu, dropshipped, or from H&M... but not 5mc2, and especially not at the original price the item goes for.

I hope it’s only the item I got that looks like this and not something across the whole brand.

And if you bought the “Padded Rainproof Jacket” at full price...
I feel bad for you, man.

Disappointing Quality Control and Unacceptable Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with 5mc2.

I ordered a "brand new" Bigfoot jacket, but what arrived was far from acceptable. The jacket was simply thrown into a cardboard box with no protective packaging, and upon inspection, the neck tag was already peeling off.

When I contacted customer service to request an exchange for a non-defective item, their response was shocking. Instead of offering a replacement or a prepaid return, they suggested that I take the jacket to a local tailor myself to have it repaired, offering a mere €5 refund or a voucher.

Expecting a customer to handle repairs for a faulty product they just purchased is highly unprofessional. In Japan, where I am from, such a low level of service and lack of quality control would be completely unacceptable.

I value the brand’s designs, but the current management and support system are a massive letdown. I am still waiting for a proper resolution (a full exchange with a prepaid shipping label). I cannot recommend purchasing from them until they take quality control and customer rights seriously.

Ordinato 4 volte, due volte mi Ú stato cancellato l'ordine perché avevano terminato il prodotto ( mi sono stati prelevati i soldi dalla carta dicendomi che l'ordine era avvenuto con successo e dopo una settimana mi hanno contattato per dirmi che era sold out e rimborsarmi i soldi), un ordine (per fortuna) andato a buon fine e l'ultimo ordine, gli ho scritto su instagram per sapere che taglia mi consigliassero dandogli peso e altezza e mi hanno consigliato una taglia più piccola rispetto alla mia solita taglia e una volta ricevuto il prodotto era piccolissimo, per un sito che non fa né rimborsi né ha un negozio fisico in cui posso provare le taglie lo trovo inaccettabile. Acquistare in questo modo Ú un salto nel buio

Impeccabili come al solito.
È la terza volta che acquisto da loro e sono stati impeccabili come le altre due volte, anche se questa volta la taglia era sbagliata mi hanno inviato un corriere il giorno stesso e consegnato la taglia corretta il giorno dopo.
Assolutamente consigliati.

Komplizierte Kommunikation

Nach ewigem hin- und her, wurde mir das Geld zurÃŒck erstattet. Nicht aber die RÃŒcksendung, wie ursprÃŒnglich besprochen. Ich lasse das jetzt mal so stehen und nehme das Wort "BetrÃŒger" zurÃŒck. Die Kommunikation war sehr kompliziert und aufwÀndig. Das alles in englischer Sprache. Ach ja, und die Größen sind kleiner als in Deutschland.

Das sind BetrÃŒger. Die haben mir eine falsche Größe geschickt. Nach ewigem hin- und her per e-Mail (fast zwei Wochen) haben sie beim RÃŒckerhalt der Ware folgendes geschrieben. Sie behaupten die Ware sei beschÀdigt, was ÃŒberhaupt nicht stimmt. Und es sei zu spÀt angekommen. Das war Hinhaltetaktik per e-Mail. Ich musste sogar am Schluss noch die Adresse erfragen. UnverschÀmt:
Unfortunately we cannot accept the return of the tracksuit trousers size L. We found a stain and several frayed threads on the item. Furthermore, the return was initiated more than 14 days after receiving the parcel.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but unfortunately as stated we cannot accept it

Terrible Exchange Process - Wasted Money and Time

I ordered a pair of Graphite Raw Denim Pants which were too large (M), so I requested an exchange for a size S. The company sent me confirmation of the exchange process, and I spent 216 DKK shipping the pants back to their warehouse in Italy. That is excluding the 75 DKK, I spent originally to have the pants shipped to me.

Instead of processing the exchange as confirmed, they simply refunded me the cost of the pants. Now I'm left with:
- No pants at all
- Lost 291 DKK on shipping
- Would have to place a completely new order and pay shipping AGAIN if I want the correct size

The company's complete disregard for their own exchange process is unacceptable. They clearly state in their emails that this was an exchange, not a return, yet processed it incorrectly anyway. This isn't just about the money - it's about the time wasted and the complete lack of attention to customer requests.

Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. So far I've learned my lesson about ordering from 5mc2.
