Not who they portray themselves to be

Initially, everything went great. I filled out the application and had an offer within an hour. Sadly, filling out the application was the ONLY flawless part of this experience. I was offered what I was asking for, but the way they split up payments did not work for my business. They assured me they were "extremely flexible" with their terms so not to be afraid to ask for changes. I went ahead and put in a request to make a change to my offer and without notice, 8fig retracted the offer. The offer had a week to expire and they retracted the offer after 2 days. I had to reach out to them multiple times to figure out what happened and I kept getting the go around and no answers. Says they open at 9AM EST, I called them at 9:30 and their machine said they were closed. I left numerous messages on live chat that were being read but not replied to. It took 6 days for them to confirm they had in fact retracted their offer. They sited the current month's sales as the reason. I explained that the reason why the month was slow was because our best seller was out of stock, which is why we were seeking funding to begin with! I have never heard of a bank or funding partner retracting an offer after making one. A day after your offer they will try and meet with you and bait you with a $100 Amazon Gift Card, but they never intend on giving it to you. In addition their "tools" they use for projections is wildly inaccurate. Very scary they rely on bad or incomplete data. All in all, extremely unprofessional. They are NOTHING like they portray themselves in ads. How can you call yourself a "business partner" that work with businesses when you make decisions that only interest you?

I will be seeking funding elsewhere. I wouldn't want to do business with a company I can't get a hold of, or who can't even honor their offers. I mean really? Tricking potential customers to meet with you for a gift card you don't hand out is a new level of low. How they treat potential customers is all you need to know about 8fig.

Thanks for taking the time to write your review. We wanted to let you know that we spoke with the colleague who made the $100 gift card offer and it turns out she had mistakenly sent an already used code, and has since sent a new, unused code. Apologies for the mix up there.

In terms of the offer, we did speak with the team internally and it sounds like your revenue had made a significant dip, so despite that fact that an offer had been made, our risk team had to retract the offer since you no longer met our eligibility. We understand that that made for a disappointing customer experience, and are working on our internal processes to account for similar scenarios so that this doesn't happen again. Our Head of Revenue did also have a conversation explaining the decision, giving you as much context as possible.

While we are unable to fund you currently, we are more than happy to continue the conversation down the road.

Not the best experience

Took over 2 months to get an offer, then it changed and was told I was funded and it's been days without the deposit.

Poor communication and follow through.

The 8fig team made financing easy. I own an e-commerce website and was looking to secure funding for our fluctuating production. Their rates were competitive and the process was quick and easy. The team has been easy to get a hold of and the funds were deposited quickly. So far so good!

Easy application and offer

8fig had an easy application process. Once the integrations with Shopify and our bank accounts was in place, they came back with a very competitive offer quickly. There were a couple of technical quirks that needed to be addressed. They were very quick to resolve them and get our funding in place quickly.
