I believed 8th & Poppy was a reputable program rooted in integrity and empathy. It is, in fact, a high-pressure sales operation that preys on women in vulnerable situations.

I purchased the program and, at the time, believed the cost was justified by the astrology mentorship I was seeking. I was in a delicate place professionally, desperate for change, and I ignored the red flags.

The sales process is manipulative by design. Pricing is withheld until the enrollment call, so you have no time to research or consult anyone. Wanting to think it over or discuss a multi-thousand-dollar purchase with family is reframed as a failure to "invest in yourself." The guilt and shame are deliberate pressure tactics.

The content doesn't hold up. The founder has never disclosed where she learned astrology, even when asked directly. After pursuing genuinely reputable astrology education myself, it became clear that this program is little more than a beautifully packaged AI-generated response. No depth, no nuance, no real business strategy beyond social media outreach. She advertises a doable path to six figures in a year, yet cannot provide credible examples of students who achieved this outside of herself. It is purely a marketing strategy to hook you.

There is no student community. No way to connect or communicate with others in the program. What's framed as a focused learning environment is, in practice, completely isolating. Critical reviews tend to disappear, and dissent is suppressed. The positive reviews you see here are not the full truth. The reputation management is aggressive precisely because the product can't speak for itself.

The coaching support can feel meaningful in the moment, but it becomes clear over time that the program's priority is not your success. It is protecting the founder's image and income. My own business has grown by doing the opposite of what is taught here: genuine human connection.

If you have thousands to spare and are simply curious about astrology, this is an aesthetically pleasing introduction to the basics. However, better education & mentorship is out there from people who genuinely care about your growth at a much lower price point.

I was sold on a version of this program and its founder that doesn't exist. I fell for it. Trust your gut.

8th & Poppy found me at one of the most pivotal times in my life. Astrology had already started helping me make sense of seasons that felt confusing, chaotic, or hard to explain, and I wanted to understand the deeper patterns, cycles, and story astrology can reveal.

The courses were approachable, comprehensive, and beautifully designed.

The support was truly the best part. From the owner, to enrollment, to Slack, to the bi-weekly calls, and especially my work with my amazing astrology coach, teacher, and mentor Megan, I felt supported. Megan helped me trust what I was seeing in charts, trust my intuition, and believe I could actually do this.

One of the biggest gifts of this program was that it gave me the confidence to find my voice again.

While I was in the program, I was navigating a major professional identity shift. What could have felt like a “demotion” at work started to feel like something much bigger. With an eclipse, Venus exalted on my Pisces rising, and patterns coming into focus, I began to see it less as a setback and more as the universe getting my attention.

It reminded me there is so much more to what I’m here to do.

The action step tracker helped me turn that feeling into something tangible. It gave me structure, momentum, and practical steps for building an astrology business, not just dreaming about one. It helped me move from “I love astrology” to “I can create offers, share my voice, and build something meaningful.”

At almost 40, it feels wild to find something that brings together intuition, storytelling, self-awareness, and service. Astrology has helped me understand my patterns, relationships, and growth cycles with more compassion, and now I get to help others feel seen in that way.

My only complaint is that it went by way too fast, and that there is an “end.” This course gave me more than astrology education. It gave me confidence, clarity, community, and direction, personally and in building a business that feels deeply aligned.

I was introduced to 8th & Poppy via Instagram and being already obsessed with astrology, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to learn everything possible about astrology! I loved the courses, I am still working through a few but I loved how they were set up and organized. I loved the worksheets and resources to refer to and the videos outlining things as well. Very straightforward and easy to absorb. The support was out of this world. Alex was my mentor and I couldn't have picked a better mentor for me. Each time we met, she was so positive and encouraging and we connected very quickly on a spiritual level! She answered all my questions and was very patient with me. She inspired me and made my day each time we talked! The action step tracker was very helpful, it did and has helped me stay organized and on track. I think my wins are gaining confidence in my astrological knowledge and finding the courage to share that with the world online. I talk a lot about astrology in person to people and each time I do, people tell me very positive feedback which also makes me feel good. If you're wanting to become an astrologer and feel like you don't know how to put all the pieces together, the 8th and Poppy business program is exactly what you need. I kept putting off my dream to become an astrologer because I couldn't see the path forward. But with 8th and Poppy's program, I received the tools, the education, the marketing plan, and the mentorship to move forward with confidence. Adrienne's courses are clear and easy to understand. The worksheets, templates, and guides are gold as you start pulling and interpreting charts. The different modules, such as Synastry and Astrocartography will keep me going for years! The ability to ask questions though the Slack channel is a huge asset. My meetings with my mentor Gabrielle were invaluable. Her guidance and wisdom and her emotional support made all the difference in my comfort and confidence. Mid program I already had 2 readings booked and I feel clear about my plan moving forward.

I was drawn to 8th & Poppy because of the mentorship program. I had a small understanding of astrology, so I thought it would be a good idea to learn more while getting some help establishing a business around it. The courses were great. They were easy to follow and comprehensive. Navigating kajabi was easy and everything was seamless. I felt very supported during my mentorship. I am typically an independent learner, but having access to Megan when I had questions was so helpful. I feel like my Megan was very knowledgeable and encouraging when I began to take steps out of my comfort zone as I began working through the action step tracker. The action step tracker helped me create my products, think abiut branding and my target audience. I would not have done that if I didn't have the action step tracker. This program has helped me create my website/social media page, and even form my LLC! I feel confident in my skills and my ability to help whoever comes my way. I stumbled on this course by accident while trying to branch out my own private practice. From start to finish everything just seemed to align perfectly. From the welcome call to format of the program and the biweekly support. I love that 8th & Poppy teaches a balanced approached to looking at astrology. The lessons and workbooks are so easy to follow and explain everything so clearly. It was great having someone along side me as set up my business page and started taking in readings. It really is a well rounded prism that is 100% worth it. I feel so much more confident in my ability to do readings.
