Todd was tremendous to deal with at the Tweed Heads store as we bought and set up my wife's first e-bike today. Friendly and knowledgeable both over the phone and then in-store, patiently providing excellent insights to help us in our purchase of the Cube e-bike, helmet, rear rack, basket and more. Despite working past closing time, he made the purchase both easy and enjoyable and seemed just as excited as us as he helped load the bike into the car. Big shout out to Brandon, the bike mechanic as well. Such a great team!

Still no refund from 99 Bikes. Motor replace a second time in 12 months by Earth Bikes. NO additional warranty on the motor from Earth Bikes or 99 Bikes. ACCC looking into my complaint. what happens if this happens again and it's out of warranty? Be very carful about who you buy an electric bike from...check there after sales service and who they hold responsible for fixing it. My bike was of the road for 9 weeks with no offer of a temp replacement.

Warning to all, don't touch 99 Bikes, Tweed Heads with a barge pole if you are expecting some sort of satisfaction and good customer service. As far as my Earth T-Rex bike is concerned...enough said!!!

I purchased my Earth bike it from 99 Bikes at Tweed Heads brand new. Within four months the Motor failed and the bike is off the road for five weeks. A new motor is installed. Five months later the motor fails again. I seek a refund from 99 Bikes based on it not meeting consumer expectations. They say they are only the reseller and refuse a refund saying all they are allowed to do is return the part to the manufacture. Manufacture provides a (second) new motor. 99 Bikes will fit it. What happens if this part fails outside the warranty period. I have contacted and lodged a complaint to ACCC about 99 Bike, Tweed Heads regarding their failure in meeting customer expectations and also Earth the bike manufacture for using inferior products.

Just an update on my Earth Bike and 99 Bikes at Tweed Heads. I picked up my bike today. ACCC advised me not to use the bike until after the hearing decision. Checked with 99 Bikes about the additional warranty on the new replacement motor the had fitted. NO ADDITIONAL WARRANT was provided or offered. The warranty runs out 30/4/2023 and then they are shot of me and if the motor breaks down again I will be up for the cost ($1200). Good customer service or what!!!!
What absolute lies! 99 Bikes have not been in touch with me what so ever about the bike from Earth Bikes. They still maintain they can’t refund me the cost of the bike. That’s why it is the hands of the ACCC.

I warned about ACCC because they invariably side with the trader. True form the ACCC have spoke to 99 Bikes at Tweed Heads and their version of events. They did NOT speak to me at all. Who was the complainant here. Based on the story told by 99 Bikes they came to a decision in favour of 99 Bikes. I got overruled without any one speaking to me. I have got done over like a dogs dinner to the tune of $3000 and the bike is still within warranty. Please, please, please be very careful who you deal with when it comes to Electric Bikes or any other bike for that matter. You know who I mean.

The staff always take time to ensure you have what you need.

I ordered some 24” inner tubes. They never arrived, then I was contacted and told they’re on their way.
I still haven’t seen them??

Bought a electric bike from 99 bikes it broke down with 17km on it and has been in the shop for 5 weeks haven’t heard from them in weeks now. Never shop there again
