I was sent to A2Z Motors by my insurance company (Hastings Direct) after a hit-and-run accident. While the bodywork repair itself was fine, everything else about my experience with this garage has been deeply disappointing and stressful.
The communication issues were severe. Phone calls to the garage consistently went unanswered, and the email I sent through their website received no response. I had to physically visit the garage just to get basic updates. Most of my interactions were with Sammy, who repeatedly assured me he would provide information “later today” or “in 20 minutes,” but each promised deadline was missed for four days in a row.
Despite the constant delays, the moment I turned up in person the quote was produced within minutes — which made the earlier lack of communication extremely concerning.
After collecting my car from the original insurance repair, the gearbox failed the very same evening. This issue had never happened before. While A2Z Motors immediately denied any responsibility, the timing was alarming and I received no support or investigation from the garage.
A further issue arose regarding a courtesy car that A2Z Motors arranged through Enterprise. A charge was incorrectly taken from my bank card. Sammy told me he would contact Enterprise directly and get this sorted. I followed up again and was told it was “being dealt with.” In reality, nothing had been done. Enterprise had no record of any communication from the garage, and once I asked for resolution in writing, all communication from Sammy stopped entirely.
This left me having to chase Enterprise myself, travel to their branch in person, and eventually escalate the matter formally — simply because A2Z Motors would not follow through on what they had already assured me they would handle.
Overall, the experience has been chaotic and unprofessional. The repeated missed deadlines, refusal to respond once accountability was involved, and the lack of basic communication particularly from Sammy made an already stressful situation significantly worse.
If you value reliability, communication, and accountability, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
I had an excellent experience at a2z Motors, From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. They took the time to explain the services my car needed and provided a clear estimate before starting any work. The technicians were knowledgeable and skilled, ensuring that my car was in top condition. I appreciated their honesty and transparency throughout the process.
The service was completed on time, and I felt confident driving away knowing my car was well taken care of.

It was the first time I have used their services. Had a great experience. Was kept in the loop at all times. Had one of the best customer service experience in a garage. Body work carried out really good. Will definitely be using them again.

As soon as my insurance sent over the details, Sami from A2Z called me and arranged same-day recovery for my vehicle. Throughout the repair process, he kept me updated, went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, and was available 24/7 whenever I had questions. I’m not sure what his exact role is at the company, but he deserves to be at the top! Sami is the man—great personality and amazing customer service.

I am very satisfied with the repairs to my car which was involved in a minor accident. Body parts like bonnet bumper wing had to be replaced. They did a great job and also a courtesy car was provided for the time car was in workshop. My car looks like new even though it’s a 7 year old car. Thanks to Sami and everyone involved.
