We made the reservation several months in advance and, when we were about to board the plane to travel to London, they called us to tell us that the reserved apartment was no longer available and asked us to cancel the reservation. As an alternative they offered us a much smaller apartment, in which it was impossible for the four of us to stay. The next day we were forced to make a new reservation in another apartment so that we had to sleep apart, which completely ruined the beginning of our vacation and generated totally unnecessary stress. In addition, the condition of the accommodation was very poor: the sofa bed was dirty, the kitchen faucet had no handle, the curtain rod was bent and about to fall, and there was neither a table nor chairs to have breakfast, lunch or dinner normally. The most serious thing was not only the poor conditions of the apartment, but the way in which the reservation was managed. We found ourselves without alternatives at the last moment, just before taking the flight, and we had to accept a clearly inferior solution because we had no other option. I would not recommend this accommodation. The management was very unprofessional and the value for money was very bad.

I took on a Company Let Agreement (Rent-to-Serviced Accommodation) with this property management company and I am sad to say that they are not as professional as how they make it out to be.

Few days into renting the flat, I noticed it had major boiler issues that had not been fully sorted out beforehand. Although Aura Assets sent contractor to look at the issue, the same boiler problem kept recurring throughout the winter which meant they did not fix it at the first instance. As a result my company suffered a huge loss as I had to refund my short-term stay guests every time the heating or hot water did not work in the midst of winter.

What concerned me about their professionalism however was the way they dealt with my deposit. When I decided that I wanted end my tenancy, they told me they will return my deposit within 2 weeks after my tenancy end date. I requested my deposit after 2 weeks and they then told me it will be returned by the end of the month. I again requested my deposit at the end of the month, which I received no response from Muaaz, (apparently is the CEO) who was dealing with this matter. After waiting a few more days, I sent a formal email requesting my deposit immediately, which I finally received after 6 weeks of ending my tenancy. I am not sure if this company uses a Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme as they did not provide me with my certificate or even the name of the TDP Scheme despite requesting it multiple times.

If you want to do a Company Let, choose a proper Estate Agent who do things by the books and not these guys.
