Terrible firm. Very difficult to get in touch with your 'dedicated accountant'. And when you could, they just told you to put everything in Freeagent and it would do everything for you. Avoid.

Over the past year, my experience with Aardvark Accounting has declined noticeably. The level of service deteriorated to the point where scheduling time with my account manager required up to two weeks' notice, important documents were issued after agreed deadlines, and email responses were often significantly delayed.

Despite previously confirming that I did not require certain services, I continued to receive promotional emails about them. It gave the impression that, because I had opted for their basic package, my account was no longer a priority. When I ultimately decided to end the relationship after several years as a client, there was no outreach, follow-up, or attempt to understand my reasons for leaving. This lack of engagement reinforced the sense that my business was no longer valued.

I believe it would have been more professional and respectful to communicate any change in client focus openly, rather than allowing the service to decline without explanation.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Aardvark Accounting. In my view, they are a shadow of the firm they once were.

As someone who’s always looking for a better deal, I’ve been using Aardvark since 2019 and have never looked back.

The level of support i get from them is just fantastic. You’re always able to speak to someone and they’re always keen to assist. Special thanks to Jasmin who is so patient and explains things so clearly that even I can understand. I finally feel like i’m starting to get an understanding of my money.

My experience with Aardvark Accounting has been Superb! I started my business around 16 months ago and had zero understanding of how I should be managing my accounts. Jasmine Cox and Lois Hamilton have been assisting me since the beginning and have been very patient with me, helping me learn the ropes of the day to day running of the business accounts. Both Jasmine and Lois are always extremely helpful and will even go the extra mile to assist me with any tasks I have to do even if this falls outside of there responsibilities. I’ve been using Aardvark since starting my company 6 years ago. Overall, they’ve delivered an excellent service in that time. They are quick to respond to queries and all the relevant returns and paperwork both business and personal are done on time and in a professional manner. The service is competitively priced and their way of working, heavily integrated with FreeAgent, suits me perfectly as I can easily see an overview of all my companies financials, categorise transactions, upload receipts etc. I would highly recommend them if you need an accountant.

Aadrvark accounting have helped setting my limited company and managing the accounts a breeze. Their friendly support staff educated a newbie in IT consulting business in simple english words with no jargons.
One area I would like them to improve is prompt response to the queries on VAT returns or any accounting queries. This is by no means a negative but some room for improvement.

I switched to Aardvark a few months ago, after my previous accountants had let me down over a few things. Aardvark are in a different league. They are responsive and knowledgeable, and have helped me sort out the problems left by the previous lot. Shout out to Jasmin (my accountant), and to the Compliance Team (Amber and Sam). Compliance is one of those less obvious roles that most people are unaware of. I think Aardvark are unusual in having such a team, but it's a good thing, as they play a crucial role in making sure all the boxes are ticked and technicalities followed. I wish I had gone with Aardvark from the start. Highly recommended.

I've been with Aardvark for a number of years now, and they have been brilliant. I had no idea really what I was doing when I decided to go independant and they led me through how it all works and they essentially take care of everything Accounting wise and more besides.
