We gave AA the specific places we wanted wanted to see and they created a perfect itinerary. Every surprise was a good one. Made trip stress free

We loved our time in New Zealand. Some of the highlights were Hobbiton, Queenstown, Zealandia in Wellington, and the Maori evening in Rotorua. Hobbiton was even better than we had expected. We also visited the Weta workshop in Wellington where many special effects for LOTR were created. The entire trip, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery both rugged and pastoral. Our transfers were faithful, our hotels clean and well-equipped. I never had problems using WiFi or being without a hair drier.... May was a perfect season with bright leaf color in the south while green grass covered the hills. I would love to spend more time in Queenstown so that I could see more places that LOTR was filmed.”

“Stephanie put together an amazing 6 week tour of Australia for me, hitting all of my "must see" places and many more that I would never have discovered on my own. One small glitch, thanks for a train worker strike, was quickly resolved on the fly. I had a good mix of arranged experiences and plenty of time to do my own exploring. On balance all accommodations were good and some amazing. All were extremely convenient for seeing everything I wished to see.”

We spent four wonderful weeks in Australia and New Zealand using About Australia and it could not have gone more smoothly. Roslyn did a superb job with every detail of our trip. She listened to what we were wanting on the trip and planned with those things in mind. We saw all the things we asked for, and also some things we didn't know that we needed to see. The transfers went smoothly and we loved all of her arrangements. The hotels were nice and exactly the kind of hotels we asked for. Planning a trip like this can be overwhelming, but she took the worry out of it and we were able to enjoy a beautiful vacation!

“It was an unforgettable experience. We flew from LA to Fiji, to Melbourne, to Hobart, to Sydney, to Cairns, to Noosa, and then to Brisbane for the flight home with a 2 night stay in Fiji before we headed back to LA. All the arrangements were great: the airport transfers to the hotels, the hotels themselves, and especially the excursions! I told the agent, Stephanie, all the things that we wanted to do and we did them all! All the tours had such great guides! They were knowledgeable, and friendly, and so accommodating! I had a physically challenging tour in the Rainforest but the guide kept me with him to help me in the "dodgy" places. We were busy almost every day and still had free time to explore on our own. I contacted Stephanie several times before trip and she really helped me with many useful tips. Highly recommend!”

Just sharing a simply AMAZING experience with About Australia

A special thank you to Anna for planning a truly unforgettable vacation. From start to finish, every detail was flawlessly organized. The accommodations were beautiful, perfectly located, and filled with thoughtful touches such as welcome notes and wine. Every aspect of transportation was prearranged, punctual, and completely seamless. The tours were incredible and exceeded all expectations. Anna's attention to detail, professionalism, and care made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. This truly was a trip of a lifetime!

This travel agency is absolute trash. I recently went on a group trip asking for flight accommodations due to medical injury. I consistently get these accommodations when I travel and book on my own, however after paying for the trip over the course of the year and consistently speaking with Melanie, one of the owners, I got no where. Initially I was told I have to pay extra for bulkhead seating regardless of medical issue. After sending her a copy of the law stating airlines and travel agents are not allowed to charge for said medical accommodations, I was asked to provide a doctors note which I did almost immediately. Several months of follow-ups ensued. This was the most aggravating process. Not only that Melanie was many times non-responsive. A week before the trip I finally got my seat assignments and only received accommodations for 2 out of the 4 flights, and one of those was not as we discussed. I spoke to the airline who happily switched my seat to accommodate my injury then I got chewed out about moving my seat by the trip leader even though both the airline and Melanie's office staff stated changing my seat 1 week before the trip should by no way effect the rest of the groups' booking. I also asked for wheelchair service for my flights and did not get a response. I only knew it was added to my booking by calling the airline. Horrible, dishonest service. Never again.

This is a warning: About Australia is a complete fraud. I was placed in a filthy apartment-style hotel with roaches and water leaks, and no one in the Texas office would respond when I tried to get help. After paying over $34,000, I was abandoned to incompetent local operators in Australia.

They shoved me onto a bus with 65 people, far beyond the small-group size of up to 8 people that they promised. They also told me they had booked me on a “7-star luxury yacht” for New Year’s, but that turned out to be nothing more than the name of the vessel,there was absolutely nothing luxurious about it.

After trying to resolve the situation, they insulted me with a $2,700 refund out of the $34,000 I paid, even though I now have to completely redo the trip.

Please do your research and due diligence so you do not end up in my position. Most of the $34,000 appeared to go directly to About Australia for their so-called service, while the actual experiences and accommodations fell far below what was promised. Find a company that gives you a real cost breakdown, delivers the value you actually paid for, remains available after taking your money, and truly advocates for its clients,because this company does not.

I also posted reviews on other platforms, and they were deleted. Based on my experience, I would not trust the reviews you see online.
