The dear woman who runs this grooming salon easily deserves the five stars. She is very confident, knowledgeable and caring of you and your cat. My baby boy Joverlein is an anxious cat. I was worried that it would be a terrible ordeal for him to have his knotted tummy shaved. If you book and go to this salon you should not worry. The people there are so sweet and caring and loving towards your cat/dog. And obviously, they do an amazing job! Thank you so much we will come back.

Passed experience of this company is that they do excellent cuts, but my dog was always reluctant to go there after the first two cuts, I thought it was a case of him needing to just get used to them, but he clearly hated it and couldn’t get out the shop fast enough….one day he came home clearly distressed after a 4 hour grooming period….took me a while to realise something wasn’t quite right. I couldn’t understand it, they said my dog was always as good as gold so I wondered why did he hate it so much. Anyway I decided not to take him back. Sometimes you have to respond to the signs of your pet and not just do what’s easiest as an owner. My dogs well-being is more important than an immaculate cut.

I am the guardian of an elderly long-hair ragdoll. I have been taking her to Absolutely Animals for years to have her claws trimmed, today for full groom. The staff are exemplary - caring, understanding, kind and professional. I know that any cat is in the best hands and recommend this business wholeheartedly.

I took my Ragdoll cat to Absolutely Animals in SE12 as he had a lot of matted fur and wouldn't tolerate me detangling him. I thought reluctantly he would need a lion cut but Sophie worked her magic and managed to only remove the matted fur, giving him a spa treatment and on collection he smelled and looked amazing. I was very impressed and this will be my go to for my cat always now. Sophie took her time to explain and was very understanding. Thoroughly recommend their services, you won't be disappointed.

Never had a problem before as I was very happy with the dog grooming for over a year… today I picked up my dog and I’ve seen the end of tail covered in blood, I have called the groomers once again, i have spoken with manager, the manager offered to come and see the dog at our house and to check the wound, did a first aid..I also have noticed that the dogs were groomed badly for the amount of money paid, however the manager offered to bring them in so they would fix it. However, I can’t do that because the dog is now stressed and hardly wants to leave the house.

I took my daughters Pomeranian to absolute animals 1st time today . I explained she had a bad experience with grooming. They reassured us she would be fine . When I went pick her up she was laying in the groomer arms happy and content , and looking beautiful. I am absolutely over the moon with this service and highly recommend. My experience was a 15/10 thank u so much . Tat’s will be returning soon

My Yorkie was groomed here for the first time last week, and we were so impressed. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and took excellent care of my dog. When I picked her up she had clearly had a great experience as she was very calm- and she looked amazing!

I live miles away from A.A but wouldn't dream of taking my 10yr old cat Musky anywhere else! She's a long haired cat who eventually matts over time, and not a touchy touchy cat, so trying to brush her is beyond difficult! She's had her summer Lion cut and is now matt free and strutting around like queen bee! I cannot thank KAY & CHRISTINE enough. Total professionals!! 10/10

Absolutely amazing! Everyone there is kind & considerate, you get brilliant service & my cat always feels better after a much needed visit. Been takng Bow there for years & Cannot recommend them enough!

On 25/10/2023 I have a wonderful experience at Absolutely Animals Groom room, I attended a course there: Half a day Groom your own dog. That experience was amazing I learned so many new things I didn't know about taking care of my little dog. I want to say a big thank you to Mrs. Dulce who was the groomer that showed me everything and to say to her that she was amazing explaining me everything and that she was so attentive to the needs of my little girl( that was very nervous) and also to my needs. It's the best experience I had so far I felt very welcomed there. I strongly recommend Absolutely Animals.

Just completed a taster day for dog grooming here and I am pleased to say I will be booking the full course and become qualified here. A nice friendly family business with professional groomers and tutors.

We took our maincoon cat Harrison for a sanitary cut and a once over all staff were very helpful with explaining everything with Harrison and what was best for him . When we picked him up we were very pleased with the results. I would defo recommend AA . And we’re defo going back .

We put our Birman cat, Ozzie in for a groom back in April. The service, info & care that we had was incredible, very informative, considerate, and Ozzie looked amazing when we collected him. He was so chilled and relaxed and considering it was the first time we had used this company we were extremely impressed. Would highly recommend to anybody that has any problems with grooming their cats

Absolutely Animals are amazing!! I really can’t recommend them highly enough.

When my mother passed away one of her dying requests was for me to look after her beloved cat. The poor animal was in a terribly matted state, despite my best efforts to look after her fur. The kind people at Absolutely Animals took care of her and even found her a little sweater to wear.

They really did go beyond the call of duty and all at a very reasonable price.

Very friendly staff and an easy booking process via their website. Would take my cat back again any time.

I thought long and hard before writing this review. A few weeks ago my 10 month old Maine coon kitten had a Matt under his armpit and he had never been to a groomer before which I explained. Everyone loves this cat from the vet to the Cattery and no previous issues there. Absolutely animals did not explain on the phone they would keep him for 3.5 hours crated most of the time until my husband arrived with him. He was not allowed to introduce the cat to them they had a whole load of cats there that were kept whilst waiting for grooming in crates.
When my husband picked him up he was told the cat was very naughty and had hissed at the groomer and bitten her when she lifted him out of his carrier. She said she would speak to me the following day. The cat had had the Matt removed but came home with a dirty bottom which he had gone with and I had to bath him myself to clean him up. When I finally spoke to Christine the following day she told me he was very difficult and said “you cats behaviour was awful” I explained he is a kitten and was probably terrified esp as there was no opportunity introduce him to her. She blames Covid which is ridiculous at this point as the vet lets an owner in now with their pet. It seemed to be all about time. She told me they take cats in and out of crates to do them bit by bit. I spoke to her about doing her grooming course and she said don’t bring Aslan you won’t be able to groom him we will let you practice on another cat. I have to say I have groomed him ever since and de matted him myself as he is never going back there. It took time for me to work out how I felt about it the cat was so traumatised he didn’t go to the toilet for two days and his nails had been cut so short for a week he couldn’t grip his cat tree and kept falling off it. We couldn’t feel’s his claws at all.
This was an abusive experience and whilst I read others have had a different experience if you have a sensitive cat or a kitten I do not recommend these people. Being told my cats behaviour was awful felt like a bad parents evening.
So I paid £75 for a dreadful experience for the kitten and ourselves and a returnee with a filthy bottom! Who was really upset for days. I wasn’t going to leave a review as I knew it would be negative but everyone I discussed it with said I really should and so I am. This happened about 8 weeks ago. Never ever again these people had on empathy for my poor kitten.
