i was on my last try for the comlex level 1 exam...i needed a no excuses strategy which ace med boards provided...they organized my schedule - drilled my weaknesses - and held me accountable every week...we fined tuned my knowledge of the comlex format - pacing - and omm which i consistently struggled to recognize.

COMLEX Level 2 was unpredictable until they taught me how to reason and time like COMLEX. They also optimized OMM so it was no longer a time suck. I raised my score by 78 points and can’t thank them enough!

Amal and Andrah have been fantastic tutors in helping me prepare for my Step 1 exam! They have been very patient in explaining content with me, and I have really benefited from their approach to answering questions.

Great drilling of content and teaching of material. Wish I had more practice with question strategy and interpretation, but have seen myself improve remarkably since starting tutoring here.

Dr. Arpit Saxena was nothing short of excellent. He was accommodating to my schedule and was always available for questions. During our sessions, Dr Saxena would spend about 30 min teaching important and HY points and the remaining 30 min doing questions together to improve test taking strategy and technique.

He gave wonderful advice for exam day on how to handle anxiety, timing issues, and other possible extenuating circumstances. I would highly recommend him to any other student and I do believe he is a big reason for me doing well on my exams.

The tutors are very personable and truly tailor studying to your needs (shoutout Amal and Andrah!!). Each session is a great mix of content review and test-taking strategy, both of which are equally important with NBME exams. I also really appreciate that they give next steps for after the session to supplement what we talked about. M3 can feel so confusing and without guidance, but Ace tutors offer that support and guidance. I highly recommend!!

Kelvin is amazing! He helped me pass STEP 1 after a previous failure, so when it was time to prepare for STEP 2, I didn’t hesitate to reach out to him again. I needed support with test-taking strategies, and he quickly identified the bad habits that were holding me back. He also helped boost my self-confidence when I needed it most. At one point, I considered postponing my exam, but Kelvin encouraged me to stay on track—and I’m so glad I did. I ended up scoring over 20 points higher than any of my practice tests! I’m incredibly happy with the quality of tutoring I received.

Andrah was absolutely amazing!! She was very supportive and curated the tutoring towards my weaknesses. She taught me a lot and helped me increase my scores to what I needed for my applications. I am recommending her and Ace Med Boards to my classmates.

Andrah was such an amazing tutor and helped me so much throughout my Step 2 journey. She was excellent with helping me to understand difficult concepts and has great insight into relevant concepts that were important to know for my exam. She was also so encouraging throughout my prep and I was able to exceed my original goal and score a 249 on Step 2. I’ve used Ace for Step 1 and Step 2 and couldn’t be happier. Such an awesome team!

Ace Med Boards was a great experience. They were responsive and got me in contact with a tutor quickly. My tutor was Dr. Saxena. Excellent tutor. He helped me with some small but important medical knowledge deficiencies. The most significant help he provided me that ultimately helped me pass my exam was test-taking strategies, how to read the question, how to come with a diagnosis and thoroughly understand the process of elimination. He was honest, extremely straightforward yet understanding about my progress which was what I needed to push myself. Highly recommend.

Dr. Saxena is a wonderful teacher. He is encouraging, and takes time to break down the solution with students. He also takes the extra time to talk to students about test taking anxiety and concerns they have. I would highly recommend him, and am thankful for his help. Arpit was great a great tutor! He gave me high yield points for my exams and taught me how to work through questions. He was always available to work through my challenges. It was great working with him!

Ace Med Boards has been a great experience so far. I have not finished test taking but from the moment I reached out someone was available and returned my messages immediately. I was quickly set up with a tutor to meet my available times. Gleb was a great tutor and able to explain concepts I did not fully understand as well help me develop test taking skills. Would definitely recommended!

Despite completing all of UWorld and passing multiple NBMEs with good scores, I still did not pass Step 1 with my first attempt. I was so shocked and discouraged, and felt like my life was totally over! All my hard work did not lead to success, and I was at a loss for what to do. I realized the advice my school gave that helped other students pass was not working for me. Finally, I admitted that I needed more individualized help, especially because I have a learning disability. I turned to ACE Med Boards when I was at a very low point, and met my awesome tutor, Namira. A few times a week we practiced UWorld questions, rapid review, and created a flexible study schedule. Meeting regularly kept me focused, and Namira was always available when I needed a session (including on weekends). Stamina was a major issue, so we trained with endurance strategies, like progressively doing more questions leading up to the test date. I learned how to answer questions in a systematic, efficient manner and to not second-guess myself. Namira also kept me motivated and encouraged me when I was overwhelmed. By the time I retook Step 1, I actually finished each block with 10-15 minutes left to spare- that’s how comfortable I had become at tackling the questions! Thank you ACE Med Boards and Namira for supporting me in this difficult journey so that my second attempt at Step 1 was successful. I highly recommend this tutoring service for anyone struggling with passing Step 1. I only wish that I had started sooner. I definitely will be using ACE Med Boards again in the future.
