We have to commend the team from Acorn, not only the excellent front of house/ reception team and the guys that do the measuring up and installing, but also the accounts team who were very transparent about the quote and final invoice.

Because we were uncertain as to the property my parents were going to buy, there was quite a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, with the team doing measure ups on two properties. Throughout the process, they were helpful and well able to respond to all our queries. My parents felt well informed and the installation has been a lifesaver for them. Very soon after the installation, my mother broke her hip and, had we not had the stair lift, I am not sure how they could’ve remained in this new property. We cannot thank them enough.

I am absolutely thrilled that we had our Acorn Stairlift installed last week. It has made such a difference with not having to sell our home and be able to stay where we love. Very timely for health reasons and just one week to wait for installation. Communication and friendly staff have enhanced my experience. 26

The lovely service received on the phone and the prompt appointment for John to come and assess staircase, also the prompt installation. Unfortunately Mum has only used chairlift once but at least it is there for her to use when she decides.

Because of the many 90deg turns on our staircase and also three changes of rail elevation, the machine has to almost stop to adjust and level the seat.
My suggestion is to increase the speed of the adjusting screw mechanism in future models.
On our installation, better levelling of some of the straight sections to the bend sections may also have prevented some of the slowing up for adjusting the seat.

From first contact I found Acorn customer service, top notch. They arranged same day appt for quote. Paul had lots of knowledge which was extremely helpful. Install date was very quick, which was much appreciated as my mobility was decreasing each day. Install team were quick and efficient, explained and demonstrated operation of lift and left me feeling reassured about using lift when on my own. All the Acorn team were very respectful. Definitely recommend Acorn if you need stairlift.

The response from the first enquiry was amazing - I was in hospital recovering from a broken tibia & fibia and needed information and quotes etc as quickly as possible as needed a chair installed before I could return home, this all happened in a timely manner.
So with phone calls etc the service from all was fantastic .Follow up service from admin, management and service team has been very professional and also caring.

Very efficient service. Original quote and visit was done quickly and regular follow up phone calls in the months after to see if there was anything they could do to help (without being pushy).
Booking the job was easy and the install arranged shortly after. Super friendly installer who did a very tidy job and explained everything fully.

The stairs were poorly installed.As they go up and down you can feel a bump as they pass joins. They completely stop a number of times. It takes 2 minutes to go up or down. Professional runners can run a mile in 4.5 minutes. This stairlift is only 7 meters long. I have contacted your office a couple of time to voice my concerns. A senior staff member agreed to visit and look at my concerns. He never turned up.

Rapid response after we paid the initial deposit. Immanuel worked hard for a day to install with no cracked tiles. A good and clear briefing on its use and phone call to confirm final payment received.

Prompt and efficient service. Chairlift is in daughter's house, and we were put off by the stairs to go there. Now it is just so easy and makes life much more enjoyable.

I had a very helpful man visit to assess my needs and provide a quote. I had phone contact to set a time for installation after I had organised the power point, which took a little longer than I had hoped. When the lift was installed, I was given very detailed instructions on how to use it and how to charge it. Phone follow-up allows me to think that I will be supported if I ever have any issues with it. Thank you. It has been a pleasure to use so far, and I have found it easy to operate, as described by the installer.
