I was a bit worried about doing an online NEBOSH course as i know the content is extensive and it relies very much on the tutor and their teaching style. It is hard to maintain interest in a classroom as a trainer at times let alone online with all the issues we get with online virtual meetings.
However i needn't have worried. Martin was great from start to finish. The course flowed well and his teaching style maintained interest and was engaging. He has covered the syllabus and i feel confident going into my exam and risk assessment task.

The instructor was professional - All Topics were dicussed and explained properly hence, limited questions were asked during the course.

During the start of the pandemic i signed up to undertake the NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, via on-line learning using ACT. Found it to be very well laid out, interesting and i could work on it when i wished. Unfortunately, sitting the classroom exam proved to be problematic due to it kept getting cancelled, so following discussions with ACT, is swapped to the new syllabus and sat the remote "open book" exam in June and passed. All through this time I was grateful for the the help and advice provided by the ACT Team.

Even before booking onto the construction course in Manchester 2020 everything was made easy by ACT, Julie and colleagues were there every step of the way to answer any questions and guidance I needed and quickly! The venue of the course The Townhouse was a great location, fantastic service, Robert the course leader was incredibly knowledgable and helped me gain the knowledge that has progressed my career to the next step.

During the pandemic and another exam with ACT, I sat this online and abroad, Julie made me feel at ease gave me everything I needed and had to chase me up a few times, she really did go out her way to make sure I had the easiest route to take the exams, amazing service!

I completed the NEBOSH General cert with ACT and the training material and guidance was amazing. I passed first time.

They gave great feedback with any queries and exam questions I sent in and also the one classroom session near the exam date really helped my understanding so worth paying the extra for that.

Would recommend ACT as a learning partner to complete this qualification.

I've just completed the NEBOSH General certificate. The course was good and i have now signed up for the fire safety certificate with ACT again. When ever i had a problem the online tutors were quick to reply and answer and i even phoned up a couple times before the exams with some issues and they were very helpful. Only negative is you have to pay extra to get the course book. That should be included free in my opinion. Other than that though excellent content and a very helpful set up. Would recommend to anyone.

Would fully recommend ACT - the trainer Robert was excellent both during the course along with the support received afterwards with revision tips for my GC1 NEBOSH re-sit and the exceptional customer service from Julie Skett. Both are just amazing and I would have no hesitation in booking another course with ACT. They really do offer a personalised service.

Great tutor, venue and support!

I attended a 5-day NEBOSH Health & Well-being course with ACT and found that the tutor's subject knowledge was excellent. There was a lot of information to cover in the time we had but the timing are set by NEBOSH so I thought the course was well laid out to fit it all in and the content was still well explained. The training venue was also good.

I recently contacted ACTAssociates for some further information regarding their courses. A lovely staff member called Linda spoke with me at length on the phone. She was delightfully friendly and gave me lots of great detailed information about the courses. She was able to answer all my questions and followed up our call with a proposal as promised. Linda went above and beyond for me. She was so helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable and I had such a pleasant customer experience in just that one phone call.
