I would highly recommend this company for their superb service and skills. A very satisfied & delighted customer.

Both my wife and I are very pleased with the work and the attitude of the team. Andy was very good at explaining everything and managing. .The communication has been good all the way through from yourself. Initial quote was very comprehensive and clear. Work was done thoroughly and professionally and with good humour. Pointing work was very good, can't tell the difference between the old and the new.

Unprofessional and arrogant. After having to chase AWT for a quote, I was finally dismissed with "not one for us" with no explanation. This was particularly frustrating as the job would involve a "structural repair...with ties, anchors and slot ties" to fix "cracks around windows..." as they advertise.

Action Wall Ties carried out extensive reinforcement and restoration work to the front of our Victorian double bay window house which was clearly suffering from movement and brick deterioration. They installed stainless steel reinforcement rods/ties across and through the bay, pinned back the brick pillars, reinforced the upstairs wall joining the neighbour, made good a dozen or so badly frost damaged bricks and did a lot of pointing work. The scaffolding went up within a week of the survey and subsequent quotation, work began very shortly after. I cannot fault the quality of the work which took around four days, they were very professional and consulted me frequently to explain what they were doing (tie work) and why, I found this very helpful. I was particularly impressed with the brick restoration, both colour matching the bricks and pointing. They did a fantastic and thorough job and I would strongly recommend them to others.

Action Wall Ties has recently reinforced the front of my Victorian terrace house with marine grade re-bar and ties. The brickwork over the ground floor bay was sagging and bowing slightly. There were also cracks between the bay and the house. The bay is now pinned back to the front of the house and the first floor elevation is strengthened so that it will not sag or bow any further. With the new reinforcement in-place I am now confident that any gradual movement has stopped. I also paid a little extra for a 25-year guarantee, which will be useful if I sell the house. I thought that the service was excellent.

Avoid!

Contacted them for a wall tie survey - they said this would be conducted the following week (time was critical as it was a property purchase). I had to chase 3 times over the course of that week having never heard back from them on the appointment time - despite having given 3 phone numbers. Each time they promised a call back.

Eventually, on the Friday before they email to say they did not want the business. In my view avoid at all costs! This is no way to conduct a business and they do not seem to care about messing people around.

Contacted them looking for an assessment of a structural issue in my home with a view to having the problem sorted once the extent was known.
