Acttuary helps people understand the actuarial profession and prepare for actuarial graduate schemes, internships and other entry-level roles in the UK. The site brings together actuarial career guidance, technical learning and application preparation in one place. Our courses explain what actuaries actually do across pensions, life insurance, general insurance and investments, alongside practical training in Excel, Python, R and SQL. For people applying for roles, Acttuary covers the full application process, including choosing employers, application timing, online assessments, video interviews, assessment centres and interviews. We also provide free tools including a UK actuarial salary calculator, graduate scheme tracker, visa sponsorship tracker, CV check and application readiness quiz. Customers can also book individual services including actuarial CV reviews, mock interviews and one-to-one coaching. Our CV reviews are completed and checked by a qualified actuary (FIA). Acttuary is built by actuaries with experience of the UK profession and actuarial recruitment. Our aim is to give students and graduates practical information about the career, the work and the recruitment process without making promises about application outcomes. Free lessons, guides, cheatsheets and tools are available at acttuary.com, with no account required for most free resources. Acttuary is operated by Acttuary Ltd and is independent of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and the employers discussed on the site.
