I would highly recommend the HAC Acupuncture Diploma Course if you're looking to take this up as a career or just intend to learn more about the subject. Jamie is an excellent teacher. His Acupuncture Diploma Course is the best that I could find and I looked around for a long time. His teaching style is straight forward and easy to follow. The assignments and course work are at a very high standard. You'll need to set aside several hours per week for learning. It's well worth it. The course covers both the functional and holistic side of acupuncture with focus on the 5 elements. Thank you Jamie!

The Healing and Acupuncture College is a wonderful place to learn the fundamental aspects of acupuncture and the art of healing using Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements.
You are able to start practicing with needles and needle techniques, as a student, straight away.
Jamie is a very good teacher. He is patient and able to get his point across very easily. The weekends at the HAC practical is where you get the hands on experience needling your fellow students.
There is a lot of study matter to go through between the weekends, and the onus is on you to get through that, however, Jamie has supporting material on the HAC student portal.
This course is well worth the £££'s and will absolutely enable you to achieve your acupuncture dreams.

Becoming an acupuncturist was a dream I had for decades. After studying at university for many years, I became disillusioned with the system, and the idea of going back for another three years didn’t feel like it would give me the kind of education I was seeking - something that offered not just theory and skills, but soul, depth, and humanity.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found the Healing and Acupuncture College. Not only do you learn TCM and Five Element acupuncture, but you do so in an environment that fosters personal growth, healing, and genuine human connection. Clinical skills are essential, and the college teaches them brilliantly - but what truly sets it apart is the way it integrates healing and personal development into the training. This is something profoundly unique, and it’s what makes this course exceptional.

Some may wonder whether to take a shorter course or commit to a longer one. What this course demonstrated to me is that it delivers everything you need to become an effective and knowledgeable acupuncturist. The path of TCM is a lifelong journey - no amount of schooling can replace what you learn through years of practice - but this course equips you with the solid skills and deep understanding needed to embark on that path and truly hit the ground running.

The principal, Jamie, is an outstanding teacher - caring, supportive, inspiring - and he delivers extremely complex knowledge with remarkable ease.

The school is also set in a beautiful location, one that inspires healing simply by being there.

The course very quickly amazed me by how much it was giving in theory and practice. It is well structured and logical, with clear videos, thorough explanations and feedback. Jamie and his assistants Flo and Sam were very helpful, open-minded and ready to answer any questions we had, creating the atmosphere of harmony combined with well understood knowledge and little hints on how to do the "magic". We had a small group, which allowed for tailored practice and close communication. The course gave me not just the knowledge, but also facilitated the specific way of thinking to understand the needs of the patient, plus built enough confidence to do the treatments. The advanced part of the course on fertility was simply mind blowing, and ear acupuncture course was an excellent addition that can be used every day in any situation. Thank you so much for bringing the light of acupuncture magic into the daily life!

I would thoroughly recommend the HAC college at Bath. I had the most amazing time there learning an ancient treatment and have made life long friends too.
One year later its my job! And the most satisfyingly worthy job I've ever had!

HAC has provided me with a wealth of knowledge on acupuncture and other natural healing practices without causing much distress, but still with the level of detail that is required when dealing with health and safety requirements by the UK regulations. It was a pleasure being in that inclusive and caring environment, where a lot of wisdom can be shared in person but also with the assistance of modern technology when required for online studying. Jamie and the others instructors of the course where very experienced in their field, and have allowed my learning journey to be very practical and insightful. Their dedication as therapists are undoubtfully, a source of inspiration for anyone who would like to become a professional acupuncturist by attending this College.
