I enrolled with AdaptiveUS and paid an additional premium specifically for the exam retake option, trusting that it would provide support if my first CBAP attempt was unsuccessful. Unfortunately, after failing the exam, I was informed that my paid retake would not be honored due to additional conditions that were enforced after payment.
While simulation exams were later cited as mandatory, there was no formal readiness check or confirmation before I proceeded with the actual exam. I relied on the training guidance provided, completed all core materials, and acted in good faith.
What was most disappointing was the lack of clarity and transparency around the distinction between a paid retake option and the success guarantee conditions, as well as the sudden closure of my learning portal access while the issue was still under discussion.
Overall, the training content is somewhat useful, but I feel misled regarding the retake commitment. I hope AdaptiveUS improves transparency around pricing, conditions, and post‑exam support so future candidates can make fully informed decisions.

I am currently preparing for my CBAP certification through Adaptive US (set up by my workplace) and have found their resources to be incredibly thorough. The condensed Study Guides and the BA Mind Maps have been instrumental in helping me break down complex BABOK concepts.

The platform (Thinkific) is easy to navigate, and the mix of videos and chapter-end quizzes is great for reinforcing learning. Only complaint is the amount of time to navigate this in amongst by usual BA work. Six months is not enough time! But well worth I have seen the uplift of this in my day to day work and found this resource very useful.

Content is structured in an easy to follow format and there are many resources available to help study for the exam.

AdaptiveUS has been a genuinely useful self-paced course for my CBAP preparation. The videos are clear, well-paced, and easy to work through around a full-time job and family. The learning material helped me build a much stronger understanding of BABOK concepts and how to apply them in practice, not just memorise them for the exam. I especially improved my understanding across key BA areas like elicitation and collaboration, requirements life cycle management, strategy analysis, requirements analysis and design definition, and solution evaluation. Overall, it gave me better structure, sharper thinking, and more confidence in both my CBAP study and day to day BA work.

Adaptive US has wonderful faculties and trainers. They are always there to help, guide and support. There were wonderful training materials such as flash cards, condensed study guides and above all small video trainings on every task and technique which will help us to understand much better as well, there are tests in each topic and also on simulation exams which helps.

I participated on the on-demand CBAP course, which gave me the flexibility to progress at my own pace. I liked the great variety of resources from written materials, to video recordings and quizzes. This variety and the structured break down of the topics helped to progress week by week, and gain the confidence before the exam.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the course AdaptiveUS provided - and I felt I was able to confidently prepare for the exam and certification process.

I am not surprised that I did not receive any sort of response. There is no valid challenge to what I have written here. I guess the company acknowledges that, even if they do continue to offer the same mediocre training materials. You get what you pay for !!! I used 3 different sources of training to prep for my IIBA-AAC exam and this one was by far the least useful and by far the most expensive. I purchased a class - the description said that the training materials were of a length of "x" number of minutes. The actual number is half what they claim - every module is provided twice - once with presentation slides and another called an "audiobook" which is the same module but without slides. The flashcards are laughable. The AI bots who presented the material do not know the difference between elaborate (correct - verb, describe in more detail) and elaborate (incorrect - adjective, very detailed or fancy). The quizzes for each section repeat the same questions multiple times, sometimes one right after the other. Finally, instead of just defining a term within a module, you are often pointed to the glossary (could they not copy and paste from the IIBA materials ?) - one example that I remember is the Fibonnaci scale - mentioned five or more times, never defined.

The Adaptive training content for CBAP certification is highly effective and closely aligned with the exam pattern. The instructors are exceptionally well-qualified and provide clear, comprehensive answers to queries. The material presents the BABOK content in a concise and user-friendly format, making it much easier to grasp.

In addition to supporting exam-focused preparation, the training also equips participants with practical insights and skills that enhance effectiveness as a Business Analyst in day-to-day professional practice.

It was not just an exam preparation course. It was a true knowledge sharing platform for me.

I chose the on-demand CBAP course as I wasn't able to commit to the regular timings of the live course, and I found it to be a highly effective course with a variety of learning resources and mechanisms used to obtain and reinforce learning. I particularly found the broken down nature of the resources in each section very helpful because it made the content much more digestable.

Secondly, there are a number of quizzes and tests at the end of each section designed to cover knowledge of the topic and also the different styles of questions you can expect to find in the CBAP exam - this was again very useful for me both during the initial learning phase and also to go back for revision purposes.

Overall, I'm very pleased with AdaptiveUS and the on-demand CBAP course - the team were always available and helpful over emails to answer any queries I had so I will definitely return to them for any future training needs.

I am a recent graduate and transitioning my career into Business Analysis. I recently passed my ECBA certification in my 2nd attempt. After my 1st attempt, I was concerned if I would be able to clear in the 2nd. I reached out to the Adaptive US training team, and they guided me very well. I appreciate that they provide a lot of resources to study and practice for the exams. However, there were endless grammar errors in the questions, which mostly created more confusion about the content. A lot of the practice questions had fundamental issues. The site provides a way to raise these issues, but they never get responses - or the ones that get responses with promises to fix the issues never actually get resolved (you can see issues raised from years ago with a staff responses promising to update the questions, but they questions are still the same when reviewed presently).
Then, there's the customer support you contact via email. I mostly communicated with the Client Success Manager - Ava. This person would often take a rude tone in her emails, almost like she felt you were interrupting her day. If your job is to provide support to your customers, you shouldn't make it seem like it's such a chore to help/guide them when they need it. For what I paid for this service, I am quite disappointed with the experience.

I am glad that I chose Adaptive US for my CBAP journey. I am so thankful to the instructors who are highly committed to educating the students and sharing methods as well as techniques that can be applied at work. The course structure is intuitive and promotes self learning with milestones and reminders. The Q&A sessions and the simulations helped track the performance. Also, thankful to the entire team of Adaptive US and people who work behind the scenes to bring this all together. I highly recommend them and their CBAP Master Class is worth investing in! If you have a goal and timeline in mind to attempt CBAP, I recommend them 100%.

Adaptive US is an EEP of IIBA which provides the best study materials for all the IIBA core and specialized certifications. I have taken my CCBA with them and was highly satisfied with the study materials, course instructors and after the support. The highlighter is that they take the success guarantee for the candidate making them more accountable to what they deliver. I highly recommend their courses for IIBA certification aspirants.

I stumbled upon Adaptive a year ago when I decided to prepare for CBAP and I am glad I chose the right one! I am methodical when it comes to preparation and given how overwhelming BABoK can get, I would try and come up with my own way of preparing notes or breaking the concepts down for easier understanding/ remembering, and then when I go through the course material on Adaptive, that's already there. The Adaptive team has thought through anything and everything a student might need to get the much needed clarifications on some of the confusing concepts/terminologies. For any doubt that may arise in the midst of your preparation, you would notice that there's either a Blog a graphic with explanation, a tabular representation which would not only help you ace the exam, but would stay with you to help you with your day-do-day activities as a BA. The instructors are pretty knowledgeable and engaging sharing their experiences making the lesson more valuable. The whole team is very responsive and any issue you might face is solved within hours.
