Advisors Dentons and Crowe MacKay have been engaged to work through the next steps “in an orderly way.” Addy’s website now only directs to its app dashboard, while other pages (such as its blog or about page) deliver 404 errors.

I invested in 2022 on a property


I invested in 2022 on a property located it Montreal.
The returns are almost inexistant. I invested a low amount of 500$, received 20$ and since 2024 no more returns.

I tried to withdraw my funds and sell my participation and even in losing mode, im not able to go forward with the withdrawal.

Now we are in 2026, no communication, no updates, no response from my messages on Discords or by using their website.

Even for passive income, it seems not a great choice.
Keep in mind, the contract sign, don't guarantee any returns.

The concept is great/Weak on execution

The concept is great. Interface is easy. However, since they've added Atlas and Equivesto, it's been all downhill.
1) no customer support...try finding info to get help outside of their FAQ's
2) try getting your money out. After any payment into your "wallet" you can't get your money with out divulging your own bankcard and password credentials to a 3rd party !!
To be fair, i've made my money back.....if I can get it back from Addy.

Beware! Scam Artists At Work

Prior to my husband's passing in 2023, he started investing with Addy. He was intrigued by it and was cautiously optimistic. He started investing with a small amount to see what it was about and how things would go.
Unfortunately, not too long after this, he got sick and passed away.
After he passed, I wanted to close his account as I really wasn't interested in continuing with them and quite frankly, I was skeptical (which was part of the reason why the initial investment was so small).
First, I had to prove he had passed - which is understandable.
Then, to withdraw the cash that was in the account, I would have to provide my banking information.
Given today's environment, I didn't want to do that. I didn't want to possibly open myself up to fraud or a further scam.
Further correspondence was ignored and finally 2 years later, I received an answer from them.
They could cut me a cheque for the balance but there are fees associated with that.
$50 plus GST to get the money.
The cash balance on the account was only $80!
I ended up telling them to keep my money.
I know, for a fact, that if my husband knew of all I had to go through after he passed away, he wouldn't have invested with them.
Also, if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have helped him open an account and fund it.
Stay away from these scam artists.
Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is !

Scam company

Scam company, I have lost $3500 already which were invested in 2021, all the three properties are on power of sale but the investors have not been paid even a dollar back. The power of sale will sell the property at a loss but it will never be $0... Don't waste your money on this shit ..... It a scam.... No one even replies back on the support email

This company is very bad don’t invest with them poorly managed very bad customer service and they lost most of the investments I have lost over 5000$ with them and they keep saying things and dates yet nothing happens. It’s very disappointing
 please stay out of this platform the people have no idea about real estate and have lost money for everyone

In response to the comment from Addy re: no end date. That is not very clear when entering into Addy that there is no end date. When you read their prospective it talks about a 5 year IRR. It left me with the impression that the pay out was in 5 years, I still had the view until today. Very poorly written. Remember this is not an investment company. I believe I read some where that they are a software company.
You basically see no money coming back to you, but you lock your investment money in. Then you find there is no way of exiting the investment. So who is making the money? Not you, maybe ADdy? Seems like free money from investors.
I tried to see where I could designate a beneficiary. No can’t do that either. At 65 I was looking at how my family could at least get my investment out. No. Doesn’t seem like that is clear either. There is a comment that Addy would honor a will. But that’s not clear either as it just puts them in the same position. I’ve probably made less then $45 on $1700 in 3 years. That was only paid by 1 company, the others have paid 0 so far. I deal in the stock market a bit and have some knowledge in ETF’s, stocks, etc, but I thought I’d try this out. I quickly learned that there were more cons then pros. Poor investment and would not recommend.

VERY serious problems at the Addy


VERY serious problems at the Addy Invest scheme's endgame. My in-laws tried to exit and were told to piss off. Avoid at all costs, you cannot get your money back. Never.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND investing with Addy. The developers that use Addy crowdfunding are the type that don't invest their own money, they use "other peoples money" therefore if the property fails they don't lose money, therefore no incentive to make it a success.

It seems like it's a very poorly managed establishment. Needles to say, I will no longer be "investing" with them. I lost a decent amount due to a "promising" opportunity property, but ultimately foreclosed. Can only hope the other properties get me my principal back. Super glad I didn't invest anymore than I did. Never again.

3 Properties, all Losers

I purchased an interest in 3 properties a couple of years ago. I have been investing in real estate for 30 years but I’m no longer interested in doing it on my own. I pulled back after the initial 3 because I wanted to see how things went. It was clear this was a young company.
Fast forward to today
 every one of the properties is a fail. One is the subject of litigation, one was put up for power of sale. The third, in BC escapes my memory.
I have now accepted that I won’t see profits and will be lucky to see any of my investment back. Would NEVER recommend them.
UPDATE May 22, 2025
Addy responded to my review and is shifting the blame to me. First of all, the 55 properties that they refer to were not available at the time I signed up with them. Back then there were less than 10. If all of my three selections were a fail, and I essentially ended up losing my investment that would give Addy a 30% failure rate in the best case scenario. Maybe they’re doing better now and as an early investor I got the brunt of their learning experience but the bottom line is zero return on investment for me.

For me it was a time issue

For me it was a time issue. 5-6 years for a very minimal return. It seemed as if it was not a priority for them. Building the company appeared more inmortant but it shouldn’t take 7 years to tear down and build a house.
