I use Acrobat primarily as a professional PDF and e-signature tool, and the recent direction of the e-signature workflow has become increasingly frustrating.

The fundamental task should be straightforward. Instead, the process seems to be becoming progressively more complicated and time-consuming as additional functionality is introduced.

Preparing documents for signature now takes noticeably longer than it used to.
The interface and workflow have become more complicated, with functionality that was previously straightforward becoming harder to find or use.
Automatic field detection/autofill is intermittent and cannot be relied upon.
The e-signature service regularly fails with a generic message, sometimes requiring the process to be restarted. This appears without any obvious reason, making it difficult to know whether the problem is the document, the user's session, or Adobe's service.
Reliability is particularly problematic because e-signatures are not an optional feature in this workflow they are the reason for using the service in the first place.

My broader concern is that Adobe appears to be trying to make the e-signature experience increasingly sophisticated, but the result is actually making the basic workflow worse. Additional functionality is of limited value if it makes the fundamental process slower, less predictable and more difficult to operate.

I don't need Acrobat to do more. I need it to do the basic job reliably and efficiently.

Please consider prioritising stability, speed, predictable field detection and a simple workflow over continually adding complexity to the experience.

The new application is terrible. So many AI tools and wizards that are useless and are counterproductive. Old Acrobat was much better and easier to use. There were no generative tools that kept you from doing what you wanted, even if you tried to disable it. If they wanted a better app, it should be optimized with options to permanently disable some of the "features" that they've implemented as some users don't need them and when you disable the options they stay disabled. Startup is extremely slow, using the application is a nightmare when trying to read through large documents or read multiple PDFs. Acrobat is just not as efficient or as good as it used to be.

I am trying to re-activate my Adobe PDF program on a NEW laptop, having disposed of all other laptops over the last few months.

However, since Adobe records state that the program has been activated already on 2 laptops I am NOT able to load it on this one, even though on their website I have marked that there are no other laptops with this program loaded. (THEY ARE IN THE DUMP!!!)

As an Australian pensioner, I am not in a position to repurchase a program that probably now requires an annual renewal payment, and would greatly appreciate being abIe to use an older version of the program I have already purchased outright.

Man bestiller et prøveabonnement på 7 dage med opsigelsesmulighed...så godt så langt,...men man skal udlevere betalingskort data! Ups!!!

Og "bordet fanger" fra dag 1.,...betal ca. 188 dkr. pr. mdr.
Når du så har brugt den tjeneste, som i øvrigt er kropumulig at arbejde med i 4 mdr., SÅ finder du ud af, at det abonnement IKKE ER et abonnemnet på månedsbasis...MEN ÅRSBASIS, og at de tager næsten 4 måneders "strafbetaling" for IKKE at blive de sidste f.eks. 8 måneder mere.
Problemet er :.....der står INGEN STEDER AT MAN ER BUNDET TIL FORETAGENET I ET ÅR!!!

DET ER SIMPELTHEN BONDEFANGERI OG FUSK AF STØRSTE SKUFFE....MEN DET ER JO OGSÅ AMERIKANSK, SÅ HVAD ELLERS???

And you`re locked in from day one-paying around 188 DKK.
Once you´ve actually used the service in 4 months-which, by the way, is an absolute nightmare to work with- you discover that the subscription isn´t monthly...it´s "annual"!. And they charge you nearly four months´worth of "penalty fees" for "not" staying on for, say, another eight months!!!
The problem is:...it states "no where" that you are tied to the company for a full year!!!
It is simply a scam and massive con...but then again, it´s American, so what else would you expect???!

Canceled my subscription to get a monthly charge four days later. Try to reach support immediately they have no phone number and no email address for support. A chat bot that not once addressed what I was asking. Can't even find what you're looking for on there website deliberately confusion. SCAM!!!!!!

J'ai un abo standard que je paye environ 14 CHF par mois qui me permet d'utiliser sur 6 ordinateurs et quand j'essaye de l'installer sur un 2ème ordinateur (j'essaye depuis 2 jours) ca marche pas et je ne peux que lire (version gratuite)!! et le service Adobe n'est pas à la hauteur. Essayez de vous connecter et vous avez en premier plein de pub pour vous abonner à d'autres services payant ou upgrader votre abonnement actuel et quand je les contact à 17h20, je vois le message désolé aucun support disponible et contactez nous tous les jours jusqu'à 17h30. Si quelqu'un a une autre solution que adobe merci de proposer.

My adobe writer gave me all sorts of problems. It would NOT save as pdf at all to start with. Then it took several minutes. When editing pdf, any numbers I inserted came up as Hindi hyroglyphics. My IT experts not able to correct it and no easy access to Adobe help. I am going back to my other (cheaper) programme

Bezahle monatlich viel Geld für diese Software die nur Nerven kostet. Seit der neuen Version ist alles eine Katastrophe. Das schlimmste von allem ist der Support. Mann kann froh sein wenn diese Leute überhaupt deutsch verstehen geschweige denn sprechen. Die versprechen einen Rückruf, um angeblich nach dem Problem zu suchen, schließlich ist es aber nichts weiter als Flucht vom Kunden. Ich überlege mir ernsthaft mein Abo zu kündigen!!!!!!!!!!!!! die sind nicht einen cent wert. Es haben sich hier ein paar Möchtegern-Köpfe zusammen gesetzt, mit dem Ziel " wie können wir es für den User so schlecht wie möglich machen?" Für mich ist es der "Themu" unter den Softwareanbietern! Eine Schande ist das! über 23,00 € jeden Monat für nichts!

Adobe seems to completely take over my documents and override my defaults so that I don't even have control over my own dam computer. That's unacceptable. Adobe creators need to learn to stay in their lane! The user gets to decide what their defaults are you control freaks! So I uninstalled your stupid app.

Very disappointing experience.
I signed up because Adobe Acrobat advertised a 7-day trial with access to the tools I needed. My goal was simple: convert a large PDF technical manual into a Word document.
Unfortunately, the service did not deliver what was promised. After spending time creating an account and starting the process, I was unable to complete the conversion as expected. The trial period gave the impression that the required features would be available, but in practice the service did not provide the result I signed up for.
The experience felt misleading and wasted my time. If a feature is restricted, limited, or unavailable during the trial, that should be made clear before users invest their time.
Very frustrating experience.

What an utterly shocking customer service experience. Change your plan without telling you, triple your costs, then it's a big fat FU from customer services. I am speechless.

Unfortunately i need to add to the one star reviews of Adobe Acrobat. I purchased the Adobe pro so I can perform functions that you can't from a free account. It took almost 3 months to get the correct app installed and even with delay Adobe didn't care that I paid for a service I couldn't use. Calling into customer service was useless 😒 😑 they didn't care. I can't cancel my 3 year prepaid plan and get my money back unless I dispute it through my card. THEY PROVIDE ZERO SERVICE. If you can find another similar service, go there not here and let me know where, so I can change after my subscription ends.

This is genuinely and i mean genuinely the worst pdf editor software i have ever seen in my life, i cannot even describe the shear pain and annoyance this software has costed me just to edit a common cv pdf. it took me almost 2hrs to get work done which would have costed me less than 30 mins to complete on a different software. even the pro version was glitchy and i struggled even more just to create an extra text to write a simple sentence on, and for some odd reason progress cannot be saved making me restart my work over and over again for like almost and hour. i was this close to loosing the sanity that kept me on this very earth and I'm surprised this software didn't even break me. overall i would advise you that is reading this right now to not even try to lay a finger on such website cause i promise and i promise you... you will save SOOO much time and effort and money avoiding such pathetic website.
