Hello Mark,

We are sorry you didn't receive your goods yet.
Initially, as you know the post code you have provided was not matching the address and was rejected by Australia Post system. Then we have contacted you and therefore it took a couple of days more than usual to despatch your order.
The items were shipped on 13/02/2019 and we have provided you with tracking number 0003006000430927700995
You have contacted us 4 days ago and we have replied with an update on the status of your order as provided by Australia Post on the day. It showed as still in transit.
We have checked again your status order yesterday and it shows that your order has arrived in Perth for processing on Fri 22 Feb • 12:15pm
Australia Post has advised today that there has been an incident affecting all shipments from South Australia to Perth involving a train derailment. You can read more details here https://auspost.com.au/about-us/news-media/important-updates/perth-train-derailment

As you can see there was nothing we could do on our end to expedite the shipping as initially some of the details were wrong and then a major incident got your order delayed further.
We hope that you will receive your goods promptly next week.

Poor customer service - Disappointing

I had a product that was damaged and the response was far from customer focused. Very poor against competitors like Dinga’s who treat their customers with respect and promote repeat business. Disappointing given it is has good products but won’t be purchasing from Adore Tackle again.

Update....
The response below completely emphasises my point, I asked for an electronic form to complete (as I don’t have a printer) and that wasn’t available all I was sent was an image of a form that had all the liablilty on me as a customer, it is all my problem, it’s not unacceptable for you to buy a brand new product and expect it to be in good condition! ? Obviously I’m wrong, ‘the customer’ is the problem? - won’t promote repeat business. As I say, sad given you have great product and very good purchasing experience but you have to follow through with good customer service then you retain and promote repeat business like the competitors I mentioned, they provided a first class experience even when there were problems. That’s when it counts.

Your product was not damaged.
It had a small indent in the Duplon handle that could've occurred anytime from dispatch to delivery and shipment to your place. That was a slight aesthetic annoyance more than anything else as it didn't affect in any way the performance or functionality of your rod. You asked for a return and we accepted but you wanted us to pay for your return shipment although you have accepted our Ts&Cs that specifically say that it is on the buyer's account to organize return in such circumstances. We shipped it to you free of charge in the first place and it was not damaged to claim free return.
We apologize if this was not to your liking. Equally these are our terms and we do not change those to suit anyone in particular. You keep on mentioning a "competitor" in all your reviews. No one else stocks our products in Australia. However, feel free to buy from them or anyone else in the future. We are sorry to see you go and we thank you for your past business.

Highly recommend eBay store

Unfortunately the direct website would not accept my purchase, but with the lovely help of staff over the phone I was eventually able to buy it off eBay. My father is very much enjoying his new fishing rod. Would use this store again, but will have to remember to use the eBay store.
