We loved our trek. It fulfilled all our expectations in terms of being an amazing adventure. Our guide was fantastic so caring and knowledgeable. Catherine who runs the Company with her husband was a joy to deal with throughout. She was responsive to our many questions both before and after the tour. We cannot recommend this Company highly enough.

I found Adventures Unlimited when I was planning my trip on-line. They were the only ones who replied promptly and with exactly the information I needed. As the trip was several months in the planning, they were great with answering any questions I had.
I flew to Siliguri and Gautam (the owner) arranged for the bike to be delivered to me at my hotel, my RE Thunderbird 350 as I had booked.
The bike had been well maintained and run extremely well.
Gautam and his team were brilliant throughout, checking in periodically and providing excellent suggestions on where to stay. Special shout out to Harsha too. A real asset to Gautam and his team.
I cannot recommend Adventures Unlimited highly enough - they really did make my bucket list trip seem seamless, with their excellent bike and superb advice.

Due to great reviews of Adventures Unlimited we opted to let them organize a 6-day trekking to Sandakphu and on to Phalut. The communication during the month prior to the trekking in April was excellent both through email and whatsapp. Catherine made sure we would take all we need for the trekking from home, and everything else Adventures Unlimited provided, including warm sleep liners and down feather jackets. We asked for a bird- and nature-minded guide, and they arranged for just the best guisde we could wish for, Tenzi Tamang. Tenzi was very caring providing just everything you could wish for during and after a sometimes demanding trekking day: a freshly brewed coffee, a bucket of warm water for refreshing, always a tea and biscuits, and nice quality piece of cake during a strenuous hike. He went out of his way to look for birds and tried hard for Red Panda. He got me onto the much wished for Satyr Tragopan (bird). He taught us a lot about the flowering Rhodondendron species in the Singalila forest and knew everything about the mountain peaks and history of mountaineering. He always made sure the vibes were great with a fine sense of humour, and made our trekking feel completely custom made to our wishes and needs. We asked for a porter, and Solor was just the great companion you wish for with humour and taking his job seriously, caring for us all along. Important to mention is that Adventures Unlimited organizes the trekking all inclusive, meaning that all housing, food, drinks, pick up and drop off, guide fee and permits are all included in the package price. No additional costs were requested post-trip, in stark contrast to most trekking companies advertising the Sandakphu trek. The mountain views of Kangchendzonga and Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu (4 of 5 highest peaks of the world) were just the best experience! The debrief and evaluation of Adventures Unlimited owner Gautam at our homestay was very welcome and a caring experience. All in all, go with Adventures Unlimited for the very best experience with no worries at all!

I did the Reverse Singalila 6-Day Trek with Adventures Unlimited. Absolutely incredible experience. This was my first time trekking, and the longest hike I've ever done. My guide, Amar, was helpful, polite and patient with me, happy to take the journey at my pace. Catherine and Gautam arranged excellent stays along the way, with hearty and nourishing local food. Dal bhat power, 24 hours! I also got the chance to try local toomba and roxi, two rustic and delicious traditional beverages. I heartily recommend Adventures Unlimited for anyone seeking an invigorating escape into nature.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable adventure with Adventures Unlimited in Darjeeling. Where do I begin. The team at Adventures Unlimited organised the single more incredible experience I've ever had in my life. We went on their 3 day hike through the mountains and up to Sandakphu where we saw all 59 possible peaks to see from that location including 4 of the 5 tallest mountains in the world. While we were blessed with the weather, Gautam and his team organised a seamless and fantastic experience. They took care of everything. Food, accommodation, warm sleeping gear, the guide, the lot! They know the mountains and the routes like the back of their hands. We could never have had the experience we did if not for Adventures Unlimited. Highly, highly recommend!

I had rented a Royal Enfield Himalayan for our trip to North Sikkim.
The bikes were in good condition and had no issues starting even in the freezing cold weather.

Adventures Unlimited offered me different options for my solo weekend in Darjeeling, and I ended up going for a 1-day tour with one couple who were happy to have me joining them.
We all had an amazing, unforgettable experience with our guide Ajay, who took us on a 18 km trekking, with incredible views of the Himalayas, tasting local food, teaching us about the environment, plants and animals, and also taking very artistic pictures of us! The itinerary had a perfect balance between challenging, enjoyable and varied.
All the team is super professional, they take great care of the customer in every moment, and deliver beyond what's expected. Worth every rupee!

There is a saying that lightning never strikes the same place twice, well not quite true when it come to Adventures Unlimited, their service is truly exemplary each and every time, the level of consistency is remarkable.
My regular life is remarkably boring, get up, get ready and off to a desk job..and this repeats..well you get the picture
Whenever I get an opportunity to head back home (Darjeeling) , usually want to explore new places and my choice is always Adventures Unlimited and team, as they are able to customize the itinerary as per my requirements, at the same time not compromising
So what was the new place this time, well its was a trek to Sandakphu (yup never been to Sandakphu, and haven't seen the sunrise at Tiger hill).
We started off every morning on Saturday from Darjeeling along with 2 other people. The drive from Darjeeling to Maneybhanjyang was entertaining to say the least, driver was fantastic, soon after reaching Maneybhanjyang we started off to Tonglu or the local name Tumling. The hike was about 4 to 4.5 hours and our guide was excellent, also the day was clear..and we were fortunate enough to view the entire valley, with out guide Abhishek pointing out the Snow fed Teesta and Koshi rivers. We rested at the trekkers hut in Tumling. Dinner was high protein diet of freshly sacrificed chicken 😁 along with rice.
Next day March from Tumling to Gairibas was about 2.5 to 3 hours, its a scenic route through bamboo glades and rhododendron forest, we stopped at Kalipokhri and was served black tea with snacks,guide Abhishek was usually his jovial self and explaining about the local flora and fauna, thankfully no fauna to scare us off, post the tea interval we marched on to Sandakphu.
Sandakphu commands one of the most spectacular views, we were just fortunate enough to get a clear day. You get to view slopes covered with rhododendron and sliver fig trees, in the background is the majestic barrier of the snowy mountains, the most prominent which is Kanchenjunga
Abhishek pointed out all the different peaks, but was too spellbound to recollect any of it, you do get to see Kanchenjunga from the mall road as well, however watching it from Sandakphu is a completely different experience. It's almost a 360 degree view, well maybe 360 is an exaggeration, but you get the point

The return journey back to Maneybhanjyang, we did a 2 day break journey halting at Gairibas
Although being born and bought up in Darjeeling, this was my first trip to Sandakphu and am glad that I chose Adventures Unlimited for this extraordinary trip

Beautiful experience with adventures unlimited, I rent a a royal unfield 350, for 4 days and I made a a great, amazing tour in West Sikkim, gatty and his team from adventures unlimited, were fantastic, they helped me with the road trip, places to go, and visit he even gave a Sim card from India so I can communicate with them any time if I needed, and the moto was perfect I had no problems. I gave to say that if it was not gatty I will never gave this experience, I was alone in my journey and I was thinking in rent a moto just one day around darjeeling but with them help I manage to do a life experience in a fantastic road trip in Sikkim, thanks very much adventures unlimited, best regards

This was my third outing with Adventures Unlimited India and that by itself speaks volumes about their unparalleled perfection in service.

Having formerly done the Sandakphu Phalut circuit as well as the overnight trek to Tumling, the past experience was so mesmerizing that I decided to do a two night trek to Tonglu and Tumling this time.

Cath and Gatty, like always, ensured that every minute aspect of the trek would be ripe with comfort and joy.

Our guide Jigmay was a lively and wonderful soul with whom we had endless conversations on everything. He was very patient with my slow pace as I would often stop to click photographs. He took utmost care to ensure we are comfortable throughout the journey.

Adventures Unlimited has tie ups with the finest lodges on the circuit and even spending half a day there will make you want to live permanently there. The food is really heavenly and a good break from the daily cuisine that one has.

Not to forget, the view of Mt Kanchenjunga is very rewarding and a sight to behold. The cherry on the cake is the view of Mt Lhotse, Mt Everest and Mt Makalu from Tumling.

The only sad moment of the trek was when I had to leave Tumling behind me. But I can say with full assurance that I will definitely be back again to enjoy the services of Adventures Unlimited India.

The trek was over a period of 3 days.
The first day was spent traveling to Dhotrey and trekking up to Tonglu. The provided guide was very helpful and a cheerful person who never let any aspect of the climb feel boring or arduous. The accommodation in Tonglu was beautiful and very comfortable. The food was some of the most delicious I've had the pleasure to eat. The general environment was very comfortable and peaceful.
The second day was a shorter trek from Tonglu to Tumling, the view was brilliant. Our guide took us to a spot a bit further of Tumling and we were able to see Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu. 4 of the top 5 peaks of the world. The experience was truly a memorable one. The accommodation in Tumling was very very comfortable and the food was brilliant. The views were breathtaking.
The last day if the trek was the longest from Tonglu back on a different route. We were headed to Manebhanjan and went via Chitre. The monastery on the way and the scenic route was one of the best I've been on and rivaled the trek to the Tigers best in Bhutan.

The overall experience was fascinating and left me craving more time to explore the other routes. Excellent service and responses at all times made the trip one to truly remember.

I came to Darjeeling in hopes to see the majestic Himalayas, but I got a lot more with Sonam (our guide), Catherine and Gatty. The home stays the we were at showed us great hospitality. Sonam could answer the weird and numerous questions and showed us the intricacies of their life. We got to really connect and interact with the local people while the enjoying the beautiful Himalayas. Highly recommend Adventures Unlimited.

We did an unforgettable 6 day trek through Adventures Unlimited, along the Singalila Ridge. Our guide, Ajay, was just superb - a lovely, knowledgeable guy, for whom nothing was too much trouble. The views were breathtaking, the accommodation better than expected for high in the mountains, and the food consistently good. Catherine and Gautam were easy to deal with and seemed genuinely engaged in making sure we had a fantastic time. Which we did.

I had a fall from the bike and there were few scratches, still Ashish was helpful and he did not cut anything from the security deposit. He was infact more concerned if I was safe. We group of 6 doctors had planned our bhutan trip...One of our friend referred adventures unlimited (Siliguri)..we hired 3 bikes here,they were awesome n very well maintained..Per day cost of bikes were also nominal.
Mr Goutham made our itinerary according to our plans & helped in permits,overall. His team provided us with useful insight about permit,road/traffic conditions, weather,ect.we discussed several times..He was in constant touch with us, making sure our trip is enjoyable and same time all are safe.We enjoyed bhutan trip nicely with lots of experiences...

Of our 2 days stay at Darjeeling, I wanted to indulge in something different rather than the usual sight seeing. I stumbled upon Mountain Biking as an option in Darjeeling via a you tube video and learned that it can be completed in a day. Without any further delay I visited a couple of websites who provide these services and contacted Gautam from Adventures Unlimited. It was easier to communicate with them and I received all the required information regarding the package and the biking trail. Adventures Unlimited are no doubt very reasonably priced as compared to the other vendors in the market. They also provide with a knowledgeable guide ( Amit in our case) who would make sure that you are comfortable with the bike riding and help you out throughout the trip. It was a new and fun experience for us and we enjoyed every bit of it. I would love to again avail thier services. If you are on a Darjeeling trip, please do try Mountain Biking, it surely will give you an adrenaline rush. Cheers!!
