Stop!!! Fraud Alert!!! Scammers!!!
I purchased a product and was erronegously signed up for a subscription. When I contacted the company, they refused to give me a full refund for 3 months of unauthorized withdrawl from my bank account. After some back and forth emails, they refund $29.99 of the $90+ they withdrew. This took place several months ago; however, recently (2026) Afroscrub has made several unauthorized attempts to withdrawl monies from my account again. If I did not place a fraud alert on my account with my bank, they would have begun taking additional money from my account. Afroscrub is unethical and are intentional stealing funds from unsuspecting customers.

Order 5/17/2025 -- buy one get one free!! Not only did I not get the free ones (I gave away as gifts). Tuesday my card was charged $29.99, Yesterday my credit card was charged $29.99 and today the same card was charged $29.99 twice.,

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY CHARGED MY CARD 8x YESTERDAY OUT OF THE BLUE BASED ON THEIR SUBSCRIPTION. MY CREDIT CARD IS NOW INVESTIGATING THEM. STAY AWAY.

I ordered products months ago, they came but they sign up up for a reoccurring payment of $29.99 a month that they don't tell you about. I got that canceled and refunded by disputing the charges. Now, months later, I see they have been charging my card $29.99 EVERY DAY for 4 days now. I emailed their customer service again with no response yet. Total scam and you have to keep checking because they come back for more.

Honestly, if I could leave 0, I would. This is horrible. I ordered the service back in the summer in July of 2025. I did not ever at want a subscription. When I've realized it was a subscription base, I canceled it. They sent me an email with my cancelation number. Now we're talking about 6 months, 7 months later and on my account which I monitor closely because of fraud, I have 2 charges of $29.99, I immediately sent them an email to advise why would you Charge me after there's proof that I canceled the service. They have sent me an email about refunding one of the $29 fees but I need the second refunded as well. I don't know if this if this is a new company or what, but this should have never been done. This is terrible and fraudulent.

Highly disappointed! I ordered last year (2025). Was charged every month $29.99 for a subscription. I canceled the subscription and they just changed me 3 days in a ROW $29.99 in February 2026. I had to shut my card down and dispute the charges. This is ridiculous. BEWARE IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET CHARGED MORE THAN WHAT YOU PAY FOR... #BUSTERS

Actual thieves!! So angry with this company.
I made a 1 off order in August 2025. I did not opt in to be a member or subscribe.
Since then they have taken £23 from my account five times. Massive scam. The phone number doesn’t work. I was worried that money over a period of time I wouldn’t be able to get back as went unnoticed. Thankfully contacted my bank and reported Fraud. How can this even be aloud in this day and age??

I was charged $29.99 for a subscription I never knowingly signed up for or authorized. I have not used this company in over a year, yet I was billed for “VIP customer support and early access,” which I never requested or needed.

I contacted customer support immediately and requested a refund and an explanation, but they either refused or failed to respond appropriately. Their response referenced a refund policy instead of addressing the fact that this was an unauthorized charge.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and concerning. Customers should not have to monitor their accounts for subscriptions they never intentionally enrolled in. Transparency and authorization should be standard practice.

I have since escalated the matter through my bank and filed formal complaints.

I would strongly advise others to check their statements carefully and be cautious

They force you to sign up for a fake subscription and when you email them to cancel your subscription, they say it’s cancelled and still take money out of your account every month.. this time , they took 3x the amount and their customer service is terrible

To cancel subscription, go to your profile on the afroscrub.com website. You’ll need to find it under the orders link. DELETE THE PAYMENT!! Delete it immediately!! I requested to remove the VIP memeberhip back in 7/20/25 and now I see 3!!! pending transactions 1x 2/12/26 and 2x 2/11/26. Now I have to wait until the transactions post to have my CC remove them.

Wish I could give zero stars. They're scammers. I cancelled their "subscription" in 2025 and on 2/10/26 and 2/11/26 they charged me $29.99 on each day out of the blue. I have a new debit card and I have no idea how they got my debit card number and they believe I won't get my money back but they are dead wrong. Dispute with my bank has already been done because clearly they have no intention to refund my money. Can't believe companies are attempting to do stuff like this in this day and age.

Complete and total SCAM. You get a generic package nothing like the site and the soaps and items other than the sponge also look nothing like the site. They also lump you into this membership SCAM. I immediately cancelled in 06/2025 and requested a refund. Welp here it is 02/2026 and they renewed it without my permission, and I am currently fighting for a refund.

Total scam! I purchased a net sponge 8 months ago. It shipped from China, not Africa like advertised. They also added a “VIP subscription” to my order. I canceled after two months when I realized it. They have charged me 3 times in the past two days even though I canceled it. They’re refusing to refund my money.

I made a purchase around a year ago and as is the same with other reviewers they automatically added the subscription to basket. They took a further payment of £24 a month after my initial purchase. They did eventually refund this.

Fast forward to now, a year later I have not had any further contact with them and have not made any further purchases. They took/stole £24 from my account yesterday which I attempted to dispute but got some generic email back. Today, they have taken another £24 from my account. WTF are these people doing, seriously shady business.

The scrub itself is great, but I agree with others. They have this hidden ‘VIP’ membership added without you knowing until money has been taken out. When disputed, the customer services team did stop the subscription. However this morning, money has been taken out yet again without my knowledge. So they have kept my bank details to take money out months later after not taking any. I have contacted them several times to sort this issue yet again and will dispute it with my bank this time. It’s disgusting and dishonest behaviour!

Stop the subscriptions it's a ripoff.
I was charged $29.99 in 2 days when I didn't buy anything in 6 months. I also have canceled the subscription twice. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Purchased from this company in July 2025 everything seemed fine until Aug 2025 when they charged me for a subscription I never signed up for. When I contacted them to complain they confirmed it had been cancelled (email confirmation received) but unfortunately despite asking for a refund this never happened. No further issues until 10 Feb 2026 when they attempted to claim another £23 for a none exist subscription. Fortunately the account they used is not longer a main account so there were insufficient funds and payment was declined. Once again I contacted them and the generic email says my subscription has been cancelled. I also contacted my bank who are in the process of blocking them but in the meantime they have made a further 2 attempts to take my money.

Scammers
I bought a scrub (buy one get one free) and a soap last June. Come to find out in August they had taken a payment (also in July but I’d missed that) that I hadn’t authorised and I hadn’t signed up to any subscription either. Contacted them and the didn’t acknowledge the fact I hadn’t signed up for a subscription they just said they would cancel it. They didn’t reimburse the £46 they had taken but I was just glad they’d cancelled their unauthorised subscription….or at least I thought they had. Had notifications that another £23 was pending from my account today. Have to contact the bank tomorrow to dispute the payment but they wouldn’t cancel the pending payment as they say it’s already left my account. Probably have to close that credit card account now as they’ll always have access to it now.

Afroscrub should be avoided at all cost, they charge you for orders you did not make and even when you unsubscribe they still try to charge your credit card months after.

They are trying it event now as of 10-02-2026.
Very dishonest business..

Left this on the other half of this “company,” Glownetic, too but thought I should put it here as well. I dealt with them over sixth months ago and just now received a fraudulent transaction warning from my bank, they tried to charge me another $43 for something they snuck in the initial transaction in the first place. There is a subscription hidden in the purchase of their nets, it was labelled as a free add-on, selected by default, and totally bypassed my eyes and I’m sure many other’s. I did receive the product, most likely factory-made, cheap plastic as opposed to what they claim. However a month later I was met with a charge on my account that they refused to properly refund me. They also deleted my review on their own site. Now, many months later I’m met with another attempted charge. Do not under any circumstances purchase from them. Try to find real small businesses. Very poor purchase decision on my part (never buy from Instagram ads).
